It has been days already since the company’s anniversary and days since Taeyeon learned that Tiffany is pregnant with their first child together and second child in their family.

 

 

All along he thought that they are going to be a happy couple and happy family now that they are slowly growing but he was wrong. Tiffany is not speaking with him. If she does, it will only be a small talk and most of the time she will only talk to him about work stuffs.

 

 

Even at home, Tiffany doesn’t feel like talking to him because he is either in his gaming room or playing with their daughter. After the party, both of them became really busy on their respective work.

 

 

This makes it worst for them as they lost their time for each other. Suddenly a big wall was in between them that they didn’t notice until it escalates.

 

 

“We need to talk, Fany-ah!”, Taeyeon couldn’t take it anymore and confronted her.

They are at the office and Taeyeon couldn’t focus on what he was doing thinking about what he had done wrong to her. Despite having to dig his memories, he still couldn’t think of anything that might have upset her that much.

 

 

“I don’t have time right now, love. Can that wait?”, she replies without even looking at him.

 

 

“Is your work more important than me, than us?! Fany-ah, you have to talk to me! You need to tell me what I did to make to treat me like this! What is happening to you, to us?”,

 

 

Taeyeon may have sounded desperate but he is really desperate but Tiffany just sighs and finally look at him. “Please, love. This is not the right place for this. I really don’t have time right now; I have deadlines and so do you. Please”,

 

 

“You’re unbelievable. It’s like I am nothing to you. You know what I am feeling right now? I feel like I am walking on a tight rope. It feels like one wrong move I will fall hard and everything is gone for me. I thought we’re in this together. You said no hiding, no secrets”,

 

“We’ll talk at home”,

 

 

“Fine! Do whatever you want to do. Just tell me if I need to pack my things in YOUR house”, Taeyeon scoffs. He is done.

 

 

Tiffany furrows her eyebrow. “What are you talking about? My house? That’s OUR house, Taeyeon”,

 

 

“You know what I am talking about. It’s obvious. You won’t talk to me like how you used to talk to me. You can’t even look at me the way you always do. If you want me to leave-, just tell me. It’s hard, fany-ah. I can’t read you no more”,

 

 

“Love, please it’s not like that.  Please, not here. I promise we’ll talk at home”,

 

 

Taeyeon lift both of his arms in surrender and out of frustration. “Fine! Do whatever you want”, he then went to his office to grab something before going out.

 

 

Little did they know, outside their office he saw Sooyoung standing outside like she is waiting for the right time to walk inside. She shoots him an apologetic look and place a hand on Taeyeon’s shoulder. “Just be more patient with her. You know how hard it is for her when that day is near. She loves you and I know she have her reasons why she’s doing this to you”,

 

 Taeyeon just faintly smiles at her and nodded then Sooyoung finally open the door of Tiffany’s office. She then saw her best friend sitting on her chair with both of her eyes close. Sooyoung instantly knew that there is much more that she’s not telling her.

 

 

“Talk”, she started

 

 

“Don’t start, Soo. I have a lot going on right now. Please, don’t add up to that”,

 

 

“No, fany! If we don’t talk right now, if you don’t talk right now, I swear you will really lose him at this point. Don’t shut him down like how you used to be before. You are not alone anymore, you have him. Don’t push Taeyeon away. You have to tell him what’s in your mind. You can’t continue making him feel bad for something that he didn’t know or didn’t do”,

 

 

Sooyoung sigh. “Speak up and tell me what’s wrong because I know this is not only about them, I can feel that there’s something that is bothering because you wouldn’t like this if there’s not. So, tell me what’s wrong? The guessing game is over now”,

 

 

Tiffany groan in frustration not with her best friend nor Taeyeon but to herself. “I don’t know, Soo! I am expecting too much that leads me to disappointment! After I told him about me being pregnant with his son, something is wrong”,

 

 

“That night. Taeyeon started mapping all his plans for our family and our kids. You see, he has everything planned for our kids already but nothing for me, for us”,

 

 

“Is this the reason why you’re being like this to Taeyeon? He loves you and there’s no question about it. I can see there’s more. Spill it out. You know how unhealthy that is for you”,

 

 

Tiffany looks at her with tears in her eyes. “You know how long I have been waiting to have someone by my side, someone that will love mw and that will accept me for who I am, Taeyeon showed me all that but now…I don’t know. He never mentioned marriage. You know how important that is for me but I don’t want to demand him about that”,

 

 

“Him not having a plan for us makes me think that he only loves our kids and not me. I know how much she loves kids but I don’t know. I love him but I don’t know about him anymore”,

 

 

Sooyoung reach out for her friend’s hand to show her that it’s gonna be okay. “Look, it’s okay to feel that way but it’s not okay to keep it all to yourself especially not telling him. Fany, you have to tell him about this. You might not notice but Taeyeon is really trying his best to understand you but you kept on pushing him away”,

 

 

“You cannot do that because you’re not only hurting yourself but you’re definitely hurting him on the process. Stop this now before it’s too late, Fany. Talk to him now and tell him about this. Do you want to be alone again?”,

 

Tiffany shook her head.

 

 

“You don’t. Then don’t make him. I’m telling you stop this now because I can see he’s on the verge of giving up on you. This is all up to you now, I love you, Fany but I will be really mad at you if you let this escalates”,

 

 

With that, Sooyoung left her and made her way out of the door where she saw Taeyeon standing outside with his head low. She smiles at him when he looks up. “I think you already heard it. Just bear with her. She’s pregnant and her emotions is unstable. And you what, remember you’ve been asking me about what she want for her birthday, right?”,

 

 

Sooyoung smile at him. “You have your answer now”,

 

 

Taeyeon catches on what she meant by that and thank her for everything that she’s been doing for them and their family. Without Sooyoung, he wouldn’t know what to do or how he will be able to handle everything.

 

When he opens the door of Tiffany’s office, he immediately run to her. “Why are you crying? Tell me what’s wrong”,

 

 

“I’m sorry, Taeyeon. Please don’t give up on me, don’t leave me”,

 

 

Taeyeon helps her to get up and sat her on the couch. Tiffany is really shaking and sobbing really hard. Her emotions finally exploded and she don’t know how to control it.

 

 

She quickly hugs him so tight like she is afraid of letting him go. “Don’t- Please, don’t leave me, love. Stay with me. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you and push you away. I’m sorry. Please, don’t go”,

 

 

“Who told you that I’m leaving you? Okay, you making me feel definitely hurts but that’s not enough for me to just walk away from something that I have been praying for all my life. But you can’t always leave me alone in the dark guessing what did I do, what did I say to upset you. Love, you can’t keep everything to yourself because you have me now. I don’t want to let you suffer alone. If I have to, I am willing to suffer along with you because I can’t let you be like this”,

 

Hearing that from him makes it more frustrating for Tiffany because she just unintentionally hurt the person that she never intended to hurt.

 

 

“I got scared while listening to you mapping all your plans for our kids. As you continue to tell me that, I was waiting for you to tell me your plans for us. I was like where am I in those? Never did you ever mention anything about us getting married and that really scares me. It makes me feel like you just love our kids and not me”,

 

 

“What? Wait. Where did that all came from? Fany-ah, my love for you never change or it will ever be. I love you more than my own life. Even if we will have many children together, I will still love you the same as I will love them”,

 

 

Taeyeon cupped her face to make her look at him in the eyes. “Listen to me. I haven’t brought up about marriage because we are practically like a married couple. We’ve been living together already. We share everything like those married couples do. But it doesn’t mean that I don’t have any intention of marrying you. I am waiting for the perfect time for that. Besides, I haven’t found the perfect ring to give you”,

 

 

“I don’t need a ring or anything. I just need you to be always by my side to love me and our kids. I’m sorry for not telling you about this. I’m sorry for doubting your love for me. I’m sorry for making you suffer”,

 

 

 

Tiffany started sobbing again and Taeyeon chuckles. “Why are you crying again? It’s okay. Stop crying now. I’m here and I will never leave you. We will be okay. I love you so much, my love”,

 

 

He got up and give her a glass of water to let her calm down while he carefully cleans her face. He felt bad seeing her cry like that. “You okay now?”, he asks

 

 

Tiffany nodded. “Thank you, Taeyeon. I love you so much”,

 

 

“I love you too. Don’t cry like that anymore. Look you eyes are so red. Come here”, he pull her towards him and let her sits on his lap. “Aigoo, my big baby”,

 

 

Tiffany lean towards him and kiss him on the lips. She places both of her arms around his neck and Taeyeon wraps his arms around her waist.

 

 

They shared a kiss like it was their way of letting each to know how much they love each other. It was supposed to be a short kiss but it turns into a heated passionate kiss when none of them wanted to let go.

 

 

The two only stops when they were out of breath. “Take me home, love”,

 

 

“How about your meetings today?”, Taeyeon asks because he knows all her schedule.

 

 

“I don’t feel like working anymore. Can you cancel all my schedules?”,

 

 

Taeyeon looks at her and she just snuggles on him. He then took out his phone to inform their secretaries to cancel all their schedule as both of them are going home for personal reason.

“Let’s go now big baby. I know what will make you feel okay”, he told her with a smirk on his face.

 

 

Tiffany chuckles and finally a smile flashes on her face. “Byuntae!”,

 

 

“What? I know you want that. You thought I didn’t notice the way you look at me whenever I am changing or if I got out of shower”,

 

 

Tiffany’s face turns red like a tomato. “Shut up! Bring me home now”,

 

 

Weeks later, Taeyeon and Tiffany’s relationship is better that ever. They always discussed everything together might it be about work or something about their family.

 

 

On the other hand, little did Tiffany know that Taeyeon is preparing for the biggest surprise of her life. She has no idea that Taeyeon is doing something behind her back and he is nervous about it.

 

 

“Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Wakey wakey!”, Winter suddenly runs towards their bedroom and started jumping on the bed

 

 

Tiffany is so sleepy because they slept really late last night but she knows she better open her eyes before her toddler starts having some tantrums. “Okay, geez. Mommy is awake now. Stop jumping now, baby”,

 

 

“Mommy, here. Happy birthday, mommy. I love you”, she happily greeted her mother

 

 

“Oh~ This is so sweet of you. Thank you, baby. Mommy loves you too so much”, Tiffany is so touch with the birthday card that she just made for her. It was the first time for her to receive a card from her daughter.

 

 

As the mother and daughter duo are having a sweet moment together, Taeyeon is watching them while leaning his body to the door. He really wants to bring Tiffany’s birthday to be a happy day for her. He wants them to start celebrating it.

 

 

“Mommy, look. Dada taught me how to write!”, Winter excitedly and proudly showed it to her mom. They’ve been practicing that because Winter really wants to give her mom a birthday card.

 

 

“Wow. You really did a good job. Mommy is so proud of you. Let’s put this on the fridge because this is your first gift to mommy”,

 

“I will do it!”, she snatched it to her mommy. “Go down now mommy. Dada and I prepared breakfast! Don’t be long, I’m hungry”, then she storms out of the room.

 

“Hey, don’t run!”, Taeyeon yell when their daughter just shoves him out of her way. “Be careful on the stairs, little boss”,

 

When Winter is gone, Taeyeon closes the door and walks towards Tiffany who is still laying down on their bed with a big smile on her face. He then sits beside her. “Happy birthday to the most precious woman, best mommy. And happy birthday to my hot and y future wife”,

 

 

“Such a sweet talker. Thank you, love. I miss being this happy on my birthday but the longing is still there you know”,

 

 

“I know and it’s okay. I cannot take that from you but I will try not to make you feel gloomy on your special day anymore. Only happy thoughts”, he then leans down to kiss her.

 

 

He kisses her all over her face making her giggles. “Hey, aren’t you tired? We literally finished like 5 hours ago”,

 

 

“I can’t get enough of you”, he replies before hovering on top of her. “They are right, girls are hotter and ier when they are pregnant. You’re so beautiful”,

 

 

Taeyeon started kissing her on the neck that sends shiver on her body. She really likes the way he kisses her. “Ah-um… L-love, Winter might walk on us”,

 

 

“I locked the door. Let’s have a quick one”,

 

 

“You’re crazy!”, she said before grabbing his face to kiss her.

 

Later that day, the growing family are all staying at home because Tiffany still has no intentions of celebrating her birthday as she still yet to decide if she is ready to finally visit the graveyard of her parents for the first since they were buried.

 

 

She is also having a social media detox as well as to her phone. Tiffany haven’t checked her phone upon waking up that day. And also, her birthdate is unknown in their company’s record. Only those close to her knowns the date.

 

 

Tiffany hates it whenever someone will greet her a happy birthday ever since the tragic passing of her parents. Losing both of them at the same time without even having the chance to say goodbye to them hits her real hard.

 

 

“Baby, have you seen dada?”, she asks her daughter who is busy with her coloring book.

 

 

“Game room. Dada is talking to someone on the phone. I hear dada says I love you”, the little girl nonchalantly replies without tearing her eyes away from her unicorn coloring book.

 

“Do you know who dada is talking to?”,

 

 

The little girl just shrugged and that is enough for Tiffany to be so jealous again. She is no longer in the mood for the afternoon movie bonding that both of them planned to do.

 

 

As soon as she turned off the TV and started walking towards the stairs, Taeyeon came running down with a big smile on his that immediately died down when it met the glaring eyes of Tiffany.

 

 

“What the- Hey! Did I do something again?”, he asks while watching her continue going upstairs. Taeyeon scratches his head not knowing what happened to make her upset.

 

 

He then went to the living room to check his daughter because it is already her nap time. He saw his daughter yawning while still trying to finish coloring her unicorn. “Baby, why is mommy mad?”,

 

 

“I don’t know. Mommy asks me where are you and I said game room talking to someone that you said I love you”, she answers before yawning again. “Dada, milk. Sleepy”,

 

 

“Oh my God!”, the horror in Taeyeon’s eyes realizing what happens. He can’t be mad at her daughter for that reason because they always remind her to always tell the truth no matter what it is.

 

 

Taeyeon picks her up on the floor. “I’m in trouble now… Let’s go make your milk. You need to take a nap because we will be going somewhere later”,

 

 

After putting his daughter to sleep, he slowly makes his way to their bedroom knowing that Tiffany is being jealous again without reason. He’s been blaming her hormones for her sudden mood swing that is driving him crazy already.

 

 

He quietly walks inside room and found Tiffany sitting on the bed while reading a book who didn’t even look at him.

 

 

“Can we talk?’, he softly asks her while sitting beside her. But Tiffany still wouldn’t look at him. “What Winter told you is true”,

 

 

As soon as he mentions that, Tiffany closes her book and was about to get up when Taeyeon stops her. “Yes, I am on the phone and I said I love you on the phone but it was Yuri. You can check my call logs. You know how we talk to each other. Boys can be clingy too, you know. We often say I love you with each other. Wait, are you jealous?”,

 

 

“Shut up! No, I’m not!”, Tiffany angrily replies.

 

 

Taeyeon smirk, he knows her too well to know that she’s lying. “Yes you are, my love. I will tell Yuri about this!”,

 

 

“ you. Get out. I don’t want to see your face right now”,

 

 

“…you? Oh, sure. My pleasure, my love”, Taeyeon jokes

 

 

“Oh my God, love. This is not…what I mean!”, Tiffany gasps when he suddenly went under the duvet and pulls her dress up. “Taeyeon, stop!”,

 

 

Taeyeon stops and went out of the duvet. He’s looking at her confuse. Their eyes meet. “You really want me to stop?”,

 

 

She nodded and Taeyeon sighs before getting up. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to force you”,

 

 

“No, no, no. I am just not in the mood to do it right now. Can we just cuddle instead and sleep before we meet them later?”,

 

 

“Of course,”, he said before laying down the other side of the bed where Tiffany immediately snuggles towards him.

 

“Wait, where’s our daughter?”, she suddenly remembers that she left her daughter alone in their living room

 

 

Taeyeon chuckles. “She’s already sleeping in her room. When you left her alone, she is so sleepy that she’s fighting herself to stay awake. Take a nap. I will wake you up later. I love you”,

 

 

After making sure that she is already sleeping, Taeyeon carefully climbed out of the bed to call Yuri again. As the time is getting closer to the surprise that he’s been preparing for weeks already, Taeyeon is getting so nervous.

 

 

He is nervous and excited at the same time. He didn’t know what will be the Tiffany’s reaction and he doesn’t know if she will appreciate it for doing it on the day that she hated.

 

 

“Hey, Yul. How’s it going?”,

 

 

“We’re almost done. 1 more hour, maybe. Don’t worry, bro. We got you. Just bring her here before sunset and you’re good to go”, Yuri assures him because he can feel that he is getting anxious already

 

 

“Thanks, bro. Tell Sooyoung thank you. I owe you two. See you later guys. I need to prepare some snack before my girls wakes up”,

 

 

3 hours later the time has come for him to execute his plans. Winter is already up while her mom is still sleeping soundly. Taeyeon let her wear the dress that she wanted to wear on the company’s anniversary before that she didn’t have the chance to wear it.

 

 

He feed her first because she might throw tantrums later on when she got hungry. He then changes his clothes before waking Tiffany up. “Love, wake up now. We need to go”,

 

 

“Hmm. 5 more minutes”,

 

 

“We really have to go now. Just continue sleeping in the car later. Come on. Our little boss is really excited to show you her dress”, Taeyeon tells her

 

 

Tiffany slowly opens her eyes and she can see that it’s getting dark outside. “Okay. I’m,- uh. I will just change. Oh, I forgot to prepare Winter’s bag. Can you? Put some diapers, extra clothes and a bottle just in case”,

 

 

“Don’t worry about that. I already prepared it and it’s in the car. Be careful upon going down the stairs. We’ll wait for you downstairs”, he reminds her before planting a soft kiss on her forehead

 

 

Moments later, the family are already driving thinking that they are heading to a restaurant where they will meet Yuri and Sooyoung to celebrate Tiffany’s birthday but little did the two girls know is that there is more to that waiting for the, especially for Tiffany.

 

 

“Where are we going?”, Tiffany suddenly asks noticing that they are going the opposite direction going to the mall. “I don’t think there’s some restaurant or mall in this area”,

 

 

Taeyeon just smiles at her. “You’re right. There is nothing here but I have something I want to show you and we’ll mee them there”, when he tells her that he stops the car for awhile and took a blindfold from his pocket.

 

“Kim Taeyeon! What are you really planning to do? Where are we going?!”, Tiffany panicked when he blindfolded her. “I swear to God if I trip or slip, I will really kill you”,

 

 

“Just trust me. I won’t let anything to harm you and our boy”,

 

 

Tiffany didn’t respond and she just kept quiet not knowing what’s in his mind. They enter a big gate going to the cemetery. The place that Tiffany is supposed to visit when the crashed happens.

 

 

Few meters away, he can already see Yuri and Sooyoung waving at them. The car finally stops and Taeyeon is feeling so nervous. He is already sweating despite the cold weather.

 

 

“Are we there already, Taeyeon?”,

 

 

“Ah, yes. Wait for me before you step out. I will go get Winter out of her car seat”,

 

Taeyeon quickly unbuckles his daughter who immediately run towards her Uncle Yuri. Meanwhile, Sooyoung is also waiting outside the car because she will be the one who will walk Tiffany out of the car.

 

 

“Love, let’s go. Slowly step out of the car”,

 

 

“Wait- Who are you?!” Tiffany got scared when someone suddenly held her and she knew that it wasn’t Taeyeon.

 

 

“It’s me you fool!”, Sooyoung replies. “Uh-ah, don’t even waste your time asking me where are we because I will not entertain any questions from you. Just walk straight and hold my hands”,

 

Tiffany pouts like a kid when her best friend shuts her up. “But- Love, where are you?”, she wouldn’t move without being sure that Taeyeon is near her. “I’m not going until I know Taeyeon is here!”,

 

 

“Why are you being such a baby?”, Sooyoung says and both she and Taeyeon exchange glances knowing how hard headed she can be sometimes. “He’s right beside you”,

 

 

“I’m here, love. It’s okay. Just walk slowly and trust Sooyoung”,

 

Hearing his voice makes her calm down and Tiffany immediate feel at ease as she started walking slowly and carefully with the help of her best friend. All of them are nervous not knowing how she will take it.

 

 

After a few minutes of walking, they finally reach their destination; Taeyeon’s surprise wherein Yuri and Winter are waiting for them. They are all praying that Tiffany wouldn’t be mad at them.

 

 

“Why did we stop?”, Tiffany asks and Sooyoung took her blindfolds off. “Where are we?”,

 

 

Sooyoung held her hand. “Fany, months ago Taeyeon came to me and dad to ask us about something very important”, she started and Tiffany already figure out where they are but she is kind of confuse. “Taeyeon asked my dad who is the one responsible and in-charge of your parents’ graveyard. And you also know that they are in columbarium because we are still waiting for you to decide where they will be forever laid to rest, their forever home”,

 

Tiffany already has tears falling as she begins to walk inside the. She is shaking as she slowly gets inside the mausoleum that Taeyeon personally designed. “Taeyeon asks us if he can build this for your parents and obviously dad happily agreed because we don’t know how to tell you about this. But if you don’t like it, we can still bring them back to-“,

 

 

She stops when Tiffany went near the glass tomb where the urn of her mom and dad are placed together with their photo. She kneels down and started crying so hard calling out her parents’ name.

 

 

It’s hard for them to watch her crying for her dead parents. Since the sudden passing of them, she never had the courage to visit them because in her heart they are not yet dead.

 

 

“Mommy…daddy! I’m so sorry. I’m sorry for not having the courage to visit you, to give you a proper resting place”,

 

 

“It’s not your fault. I know that they understand your reason. You’ve been through a lot and I know they happy regardless. This your final step, Fany. After today, you will be totally free from everything. You will be okay now”, Sooyoung comforts her best friend. She witnesses everything and all that she wants is to have her free from everything.

 

 

“They finally now have a forever home…Thank you”,

 

 

Sooyoung shook her head. “Don’t thank me. This is all Taeyeon’s plan and idea. He cares for you and those of you love. He loves you, Fany”,

 

 

And that when Tiffany turns around and met the teary-eyed Taeyeon. He then helps her to get up then she quicky jumps to her and hug him so tight. There is nothing more that she could asks for more from him.

 

 

“Thank you for doing this for them. Thank you for giving them what I couldn’t do before. Thank you, Taeyeon-ah. You don’t know how much this means to me”,

 

 

“This is the least that I can do for you. I know how much you wanted to do this but you can’t find enough strength and courage to see them again. Then I figure out that maybe this is the best gift that I could offer you because you have everything already”,

 

Taeyeon her hair and kiss her on the forehead. “From now on, this day is their heaven’s birthday and your birthday. There is no such thing as death anniversary, you hear me? This year is different because you are not alone anymore. You have all of us who’s willing to share your happiness and even your sadness. Happy Birthday, Tiffany”,

 

 

“Happy Birthday, boss hwang!”, Yuri greeted her

 

“Happy Birthday, mommy. Love you”, the little also greeted as she copies her Uncle Yuri.

 

 

Tiffany smile at them. “Thank you, Yul. Thanks baby. Mommy loves you too”,

 

“Happy birthday, Fany! Finally! I have been waiting to greet you that on this day. The Tiffany Hwang that I grew up with is finally back. I am really happy for you. I love you so much”,

 

 

The two best friend hug and cry on each other’s arm because out of everybody, the two of them witness everything and the two of them are the source of each other’s strength throughout those dark moments of their lives.

 

While the two of them are hugging each other, Taeyeon is already in position waiting for the love of her love to turn around. His hand is literally shaking.

 

 

Sooyoung saw it and it’s her cue to step away. Tiffany didn’t know why she just did that and when she notices where they are looking at, she immediately gasps and covers . Her eyes couldn’t believe it.

 

 

There in front of her parent’s gave is where Taeyeon down on one knee while holding a small box with a ring on his shaking hands. “I really wanted to make this day something that will make you forget those tragic memories of your past. I want to replace it with only good and happy memories”,

 

 

“I know that you’ve been stressing yourself out thinking that I don’t have any plan on marrying you. Everything is happening so fast to us. One moment we were on a plane that had crashed on the pacific then we were on that unknown island and the next thing happens is we we’re together. Then we have a daughter which is basically my mine to begin with but you took the responsibility of becoming her mommy #2”,

 

 

“And now, you’re carrying our son. I couldn’t ask for anything else because you already gave me everything that I’ve been wishing for all my life. You are my answered prayers, Fany-ah”,

 

 

Taeyeon’s voice started to crack while trying to contain his emotions upon seeing how hard Tiffany is crying again. “I’m sorry for making you wait this long. You know how much I want to give you the best gift. And also, I am just waiting for the perfect time to do this but every time I am about to propose to you, we will be both caught up with work”,

 

 

“Then I heard you and Sooyoung talking. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop but hearing you say those things makes me feel bad. I made you stressed and feeling unlove, it’s my fault. I’m sorry”,

 

 

“That’s not your fault. That’s my fault for thinking that way when there’s no reason for me to do it”, Tiffany immediately cuts him off knowing he have the tendency to take the blame to himself.

 

He just smiles at her while still kneeling holding the ring on his hand. “You helped to be a better person. You thought me how to be a better man. You took me out of the dark when I imprisoned myself with. You became my shield against them. You and our kids gave me a whole lot of reasons to try and be the best father in our family”,

 

 

“Tiffany Young Hwang. I just don’t want to be the best father, will you let me be the best husband to you not a perfect one because I know I am still lacking?”,

 

 

Taeyeon’s hand is really shaking so hard as his tears are falling from his eyes. “In front of our friends, in front of your parents, Tiffany Young Hwang, will you marry me?”, finally he did it ask her that special question

 

 

He’s been dying to ask her that for a long time already because he knew deep down in his heart that Tiffany is the one, his dream girl. He knew that she’s the only one that he will ever love in his life.

 

 

“Y-yes! I want you to be my best husband”, Tiffany answers

 

Taeyeon stands up and slowly put the ring on her finger before giving her a sweet kiss on the lips to seal the opening of a new chapter in their lives. While doing so, Sooyoung and Yuri pops the confetti. “Congratulations!”,

 

 

With all that is happening, the little girl Winter is so confused with what is happening and decided to just play with the confetti. “Mommy, look!”,

 

 

“Fany, I am so happy for you. I can finally be at ease knowing that you’re in a good hand now. I’ve seen you fall down and I can attest how much you have grown after that. And you look happier and vibrant ever since Taeyeon came in to your life”, Sooyoung tearfully tells her

 

 

Sooyoung is also tearing up and she can’t help it. “Remember the first time that we talked about Taeyeon? You know how skeptical I am towards him, because I am afraid that he is just like everybody else”,

 

“But you told me to trust you. You wanted me to trust you on trusting him and you are right about that. Taeyeon is really different from them. I saw how much he loves you. I saw how much he cares for you that he even put you first above everything. And don’t make me start with how he is towards our little boss”,

 

She wipes her tears and smile at her. “Tayeon, please take care of her. She is not just a friend of mine but she’s my sister not by blood but by heart. Please don’t hurt her. If by chance you will have a change of heart, just tell me first so that Fany will not be alone”,

 

 

“That’s not gonna happen. Fany-ah is my life”, Taeyeon quickly retaliates.

 

 

“I know but you can’t blame me, Taeyeon. Anyways, I wish you both and your family the best. Congratulations guys. I love you both”,

 

 

After the two girls hug each other, Yuri is there standing next to his own best friend and he too is getting emotional from what is happening. The two girls notice it and both of them looks at them waiting for what they are about to tell each other.

 

 

Yuri pulls him into a tight hug. “Thank God for granting all your wishes. You wouldn’t believe it but I have been waiting for you to reach all of your goals and dreams. I have been waiting for you to be back to your old self. Seeing you now makes me realize that everything is worth the wait. There’s no need to rush because there’s always that perfect time that you will always tell me”, Yuri tells him

 

 

“God is indeed the best. He always gives the best to those who believe in Him, those who listen and trusted Him. And those you didn’t questions His will”, Yuri then Tiffany. “Taeng and Tiffany, please be each other’s strength and be the best parent to our little bosses. Congratulations guys. Know that I will always be here for you and only one call away if you need me”,

 

 

Yuri and Taeyeon shared another brotherly hug while whispering something that only the two of them can hear. Watching two grown up men like that is always a heartwarming scene.

 

 

After that proposal, it is already midnight when Taeyeon suddenly wake up noticing that his fiancée is not there beside him. He looks at the clock on his phone to check the time. “Fany-ah? Love?”, he calls her out but hear nothing

 

 

Taeyeon got up and went first to their daughter’s room to see if Tiffany is sleeping in her room but she’s not there. He quickly checks every room but found her not in any room which makes him nervous.

 

 

He almost fly down the stairs thinking that something bad might have happened to her while he was sleeping. “Tiffany!”,

 

 

Searching the whole house but still couldn’t find him makes him panicked not until he heard a faint sound coming from their basement.

 

 

He slowly went down to the basement and he sigh in relief when he saw Tiffany there standing near the memorabilia shelve of her parents that both of them created.

 

 

Tiffany wanted a space where she can place those things, those special things that she knows her parents wants her to keep. So, Taeyeon suggested to use their basement for that.

 

 

Since then, Tiffany started filling the room with photographs and some stuffs from her house in LA that she asked Sooyoung to bring in Korea.

 

If Taeyeon has his gaming room as his happy place, the basement is where Tiffany’s happy place with all those things that will reminds her of all the happy memories, they all shared.

 

Taeyeon slowly walks towards her and wraps his arms around her. “I’ve been looking for you all around the house”,

 

 

“Oh my God! You scared me”, Tiffany got so startled when he suddenly appears behind her

 

 

“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to scare you. Please wake me up when you can’t sleep or something. I was so worried when I couldn’t find you. I thought something happened to you”,

 

 

Tiffany leans back and hold his arms. “I don’t want to wake you up because I know you’ve been lacking of sleep. I can’t sleep so; I went down here. You know it feels like a dream. I am living on a dream that I am afraid of waking up and forgetting all of this”

 

 

Taeyeon spins her around so that they’re facing each other like they are dancing. “Silly girl. You’re right. It feels like a dream but this our reality now, Fany-ah. It’s real. There’s no stopping now because we belong to each other now”,

 

 

“Love, I have something that I want to tell you”,

 

Taeyeon raises an eyebrow. “I don’t like that kind of smile of yours. What did you do this time?”,

 

Then Fly me to the moon started playing as Tiffany wraps her arms around his neck as they sway along the music. “I am thinking of having a long engagement until I give birth”, she pauses for a while waiting for his reaction but he just encourages her to continue.

 

 

“As you said before, we are practically like a married couple already. But planning for our wedding will need a lot of our time and we both know that we don’t have that right now”,

 

 

“I know. It’s crazy and hectic”, Taeyeon agrees

 

 

“You have two projects ongoing. I have to take care of so many things until next year to keep the company stable plus we’re pregnant. And also, I don’t want to go on a honeymoon while I am still pregnant because I know you will not let me do what I want to do and eat what I want to eat”, she explains

 

Taeyeon suddenly laughs at her and peck her on the lips. “Oh…so, all that you’ve been thinking about is our honeymoon. Why? Tell me, what do you want us to do?”

 

 

“It’s not like what you are thinking!”, she wanted to defend herself but failed to do so because of the teasing look coming from Taeyeon. “Fine! That’s one reason but also, I want to return to the island”,

 

 

“Eh? You want to us to have our honeymoon there?’,

 

 

Tiffany nodded. “I want us to go back there one last time to close that chapter of our life with a happy memory because our ending there is not really something that I want to write in our book”,

 

 

“That place means a lot to us. That’s where our love story begins and a new hope emerge”, she continues.

 

 

“I agree. That night is really unforgettable because we were fortunate enough to survived that tragic plane crash. We crashed. If that didn’t happen, we will not be able to meet and be what we are right now”,

 

 

“We will still be able to meet either way. Remember the company? I think mom and dad somehow became our instrument and helped us to have a connection together. Even if that day didn’t happen, we will still meet no matter what. And, it will not take that long because I will instantly fall for your charms. An angel, that’s how I always describe you when they will ask me. I love you so much, Taeyeon. Thank you for coming in to my life”,

 

 

“Crash doesn’t necessarily mean a car or a plane crash accident. It can be about our lives too. Problems may crash us down, misunderstandings may and can also crash as down but what’s important is that we won’t let go of each other. The rope that binds us that night, it will always stay with us so that we will not be separated. And that rope is our marriage. It will bind us forever as long as we both live.
