“Did you already find the original document of the shares? I need that right now because the investigators are asking for the legal documents of our company”, Mr.Jung tells his legal team.

Rumors of him as an acting Chairman resurface again after one of his investors suddenly brought that up. The investor also asked him about the renaming of the company from Hwang-Jung Technology to Jung Technology. They are asking for the official records of it before they invested 500 million won to them.

Mr. Jung Dong Hwan suddenly unable to answer all of their inquiries and he is trying to figure who that investor was that he knows those details about the company.

“Two of our people are already on their way to LA to search the house of Chairman Hwang. We believe that he might hidden that document there. It will be easy for us to search the place as his daughter is what from what I heard is very fragile and still mourning the lost of her parents”, Mr.Lee explains

“They better not fail this time. How about that Park Hyuk Kwon? Any details about that man?”,

Mr.Lee took out one photo from his folder and he hand it over to Mr.Jung. “Are you really sure you don’t recognize him from before? I found a lot of photos of him with Chairman Hwang”, 

Mr.Jung suddenly feels goosebumps all over his body upon seeing the photo. It was like the nightmare of yesterday is coming back to him on a day broad light. “Philip Park! He is one of Jung Min’s best friend!”

“Jung Min? As in Chairman James Hwang?”, Mr.Lee asks him back that only added up to the anger that is building up on Mr.Jung.

Mr.Jung look at him furiously before throwing the photo back on his face. “I am the only Chairman of this company! It was me who work hard to keep this place alive after he died! Get out! Don’t show up your face without that document!”,

He will not let anyone to take the company away from him even though it was the Hwang who established it. He was just an employee that climbed up his way to become one of the board member back then.

Upon learning about the plane crash, Mr.Jung sneak in to Chairman Hwang’s office to steal his stamps which he eventually used to fake a document naming him as his successor. 

No one knows that time that he has a daughter who is apparently the only heir to all of his properties and businesses. “This is my company! No one’s gonna take this away from me! I own this!”,

Meanwhile, Taeyeon is at his office practically doing nothing but to at his phone and to the photos of Tiffany. The only thing that is keeping him from not going home is that meeting regarding with their contracts.

Yuri is also at his office waiting for them to be called. Doing nothing that is making him bored, he decided to just wait at Taeyeon’s office. Having a connecting office, Yuri saw him staring at his phone and look so sad. “Bro! What are you looking at?”

Taeyeon almost jumps in surprise when he suddenly appears beside him. “The , Yul”

“What are you looking at? You’re watching those kinds of videos again?”, Yuri teases him again using that. There was a time during their college days that he caught him watching matued videos and since then he won’t stop teasing him using that.

Taeyeon glares at him.”I don’t watch those videos anymore. I am looking at my future wife!”,

“Speaking of her. Have you found the perfect ring?”,

The two of them has been searching for a different jewelry store to look for an engagement ring because Taeyeon is already planning to propose to Tiffany once she’s in Korea.

It has been not more than a month since they   but in his heart he knows that Tiffany is the one and the right girl that he wants to spend the rest of his live with and build a family with.

“No, I haven’t. I will be checking to shops later. Come with me then”,

As they continue discussing about the proposal, Mr.Jung’s assistant knocks on the door to inform them that the meeting is about too start. The two best friends just look at each other before nodding.

They just calmly went out of Taeyeon’s office while following the assistant. With just few steps away from the meeting room, Taeyeon’s phone rings and then Yuri’s phone. They both check who is calling them and instantly a big smile flashes on their faces.

They excuse their self to the assistant stating that they needed to take the call.

“Hi,love. Why’d you call? We’re on our way to the meeting room. I can’t talk for too long”,

“Listen to me. Whatever they tell you about the contract, don’t sign it. Whatever offer they present, don’t take it. Trust me on this, love. Don’t let them fool you. Don’t let them manipulate you. I will call you again later. Bye. I love you”, Tiffany said on a hurry

Taeyeon is confuse with what she is telling him to do. It was like a warning rather that a reminder that makes him feel that there is something big going on behind those contracts. “Wait. What’s going? Is there something wrong with you? Are you okay?”,

“I’ll explain it to you later. Just don’t sign anything you hear me. I really have to go now. I love you. Be careful”,

Taeyeon is baffled with the phone call that he find it very unsual. He can’t understand the urge and panic on Tiffany’s voice as she was telling her all that confusing details.

And he then look at his friend Yuri who is mirroring the same reaction like him. “Is that Sooyoung?”

“Yes and I believe that’s Tiffany who called you. Did she tell you not to sign anything?”, Yuri asks

“They are being suspicious. Fany-ah never sounded like that whenever we talk about something. This is making me nervous,Yul. Did Sooyoung tells you what is going on?”,

“Nothing much. Don’t sign anythin. Don’t listen to them. A big surprise is about to come, that is what she told me”, Yuri mimics what she says over the phone

Taeyeon just let it pass for the meantime as they proceeds with the meeting to get it over with and to know what’s with that contract. Inside the meeting room is Mr.Jung who they believe should not be part of it and also Jessica then the HR manager. Yuri’s department head is also present at the meeting.

“Gentlemen please sit down so that we can start the discussion of your contract, a new contract that will take effect after your current one expires”, the HR manager explains

It was like a panel interview, sitting in front of them are the 3 of them while Mr.Jung is sitting on the far end of the table. The two just casually went to their seats while Yuri and Jessica quickly engaged with a glaring contest.

“Mr.Kim and Mr.Kwon, in front of you is the copy of your new contract. That was personally written by Ms.Jung and approved by Mr.Jung. For your new contract, Mr.Kwon will be receiving an additional 100 thousand won on your monthly pay check. And also you will be promoted as the nw head of the rnd department”,

“What?”, Yuri exclaim out loud and he can see Jessica smiling at him. Taeyeon then elbow him to calm him down and to not fight with Jessica. “I don’t know if you all forgot that it was Taeyeon’s position you are offering me right now”,

The HR manager acknowledges his concern, “That is right, Mr.Kwon. Currently, Mr.Kim is our Marketing Director and Rnd head. But with the new contract that we are offering you now, Mr.Kim will be our Chief of Technology Officer. He will be focusing on our products and researches in the future. He will be receiving an additional 300 thousand won on his monthly salary”,

“Both of you will also be given a flexible vacation options with pay. And on the next project of Jung Technology, Mr.Kim will be in-charge of it with the assistance of Mr.Kwon. That is the only changes on your current contract. If you don’t have any other questions, you may sign your copies now”,

Mr.Jung is eyeing the two of them and waiting for them to pick up the pen and ink their signatures on it. Without them on the company, the 500 million won investment will not push through. He may sound very desperate to keep them but he is really desperate for them especially to Taeyeon.

After many years, Jessica finally realizes that Taeyeon is really the perfect man that she has been wishing for and now she is regretting what she did to him before.

Taeyeon did everything to her to the extent that there id nothing left for him as he showers her with love all throughout their relationships but in return she torn him apart.

“If I will be promoted as the CTO and Yuri will be the new rnd head, then who will be the Marketing Director?”, Taeyeon asks them while holding on to the contract.
“Jessica will be taking over your position as the Marketing Director. The three of you will be working side by side with our future projects amd other stuffs related to our company. This is the best offer that you will be offered, I hope you two will sign it without any problems”,Mr.Jung answers 

Taeyeon look at Jessica who is staring at him the same way she looks at him before when they are still together. And that reminds him of what Tiffany told me on the phone.

“I offer is indeed a great deal and very tempting. Who wouldn’t want a promotion and a big salary increase”, Taeyeon says making everyone to look at him with great anticipation thinking that he will sign the contract.

As Taeyeon continues the smile on their faces vanished. “Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate the offer but no, I will not be signing this contract and neither Yuri will be signing his. We will be sticking with our current one which only has 5 months left on it”,

“Taeyeon is right. The only contract that we will be honoring is the one we signed 2 years ago and I don’t see myself working after it expires”, Yuri echoed his friend.

Mr.Jung is fuming in anger. He thought that he already have them both a leash on their neck. He thought that blinding them with that promotion and high pay check will make them stay. 

He then look at his daughter who also couldn’t believe that they rejected that offer. It was every employees dream but they just turn it down.

“Tae, remember 3 weeks ago? This is the only that we are asking you in return”, Jessica says

“3 weeks ago? Oh yeah that. How will I ever forget that. It was you rescued me on that island and it was you who left her alone there that almost caused her life. Yeah, I reme it clearly”, Taeyeon took it as his chance to take revenge for what she did to Tiffany back there.

No one knows about that incident except for those who are involved and their close friends. Jessica pretended that she didn’t know what he was talking about when everyone in the room are looking at her even her dad.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. We only saw you there and we didn’t know that you’re with some there”, Jessica continues with her lies

“Oh, I see. That’s great. Just continue with your lies and let’s see how karma will strike you. I guees this meeting is over. Like what I said, I am not signing anything same with Yuri. I will keep this company to check the content of it. So, if you will excuse us, we will go first”,

Taeyeon and Yuri got up and was about to leave when Yuri suddenly stop. “Sorry for wasting your time but no negotiations will make us sign because our boss said ‘don’t sign anything’”,

As they close the door, Mr.Jung order the others to leave except for his daughter.

“What was that? I thought you already handled it. I thought you sure that they will take it! I need them especially Taeyeon. We need to keep them here and continue working for us and you also need him trapped here if you him back! That’s our plan! And who is that woman he is talking about?”,

“I did everything and I thought that was enough to convince him. That woman, the other survivor that he is with on that island. I think his decision not to sign is because of her”, Jessica replies and she can feel herself starting to hate Tiffany.

“Then do something abou her! You have to get rid of her if you want to win him back. Get Taeyeon’s signature or else I will not be funding your branch here”, Mr.Jung threatens her

He angrily left the room thinking about all the problems that is filing already on him. The company is barely hanging and they badly needed that investment if they want to survive.

At Mr.Jung’s office, his man who is tasked to find the document on the Hwang’s residence calls him. He thought that he will finally hear a good news. “How is it? Did you find it already?”,

“No, sir. Mr.Hwang’s daughter has no idea about the company and it looks like she has no knowledge that it exists. But she didn’t let us in. Cops are here and ready to arrest us, sir”,

Mr.Jung throws everyth that is on his table upon hearing that they failed. “I didn’t pay you all that much just to continue to fail me. You are all worthless! Don’t say anything and just go back here!”,

“His daughter, we thought that we can easily make her to trust us but she’s a tough one. She won’t budge with whatever we are telling her and her friend is the daughter of the Chairman of the Choi empire”,

Mr.Jung throws his phone to the wall when Mr.Choi was mentioned by his people. “Choi Cheol Oh”,

Mr.Jung, Mr.Hwang , Mr.Park and Mr.Choi are once classmates while they are all taking their master’s degree. Mr.Jung as the oldest of all of them has a hard time befriending his classmates.

The three best friends approach him one day and befriended him. They some what establishes a good relationship but when they are midway through their degree, Mr.Jung failed almost all of their subjects.

Being the oldest and the only one to fail the ciurse, he just disappear and never seen avain. Years later, he landed a job in Hwang-Jung Technology. He was so happy to be able to finally be employed.

Little did he know that his former classmate and friend owns the company and his boss. It makes him jealous of him. He wanted to be like him, he wanted to be successful like him that his ambitions blinded him the bad way.

Hwang-Jung Technology, Mr. Hwang named his company in honor of his late father and mother. Even their architecture company are named after them. Coincidentally, his wife’s last name is also a Jung.
