Taeyong watched as men carefully loads Eunji’s things in the truck. Mark was not happy about his twin sister moving out of the house, that he left the house at dawn

“You have everything?” Taeyong asked his sister

“Oppa…” She was stopping herself from crying

‘Hey why are you crying as if we’d never see each other again?” Taeyong smiled as he held on his sister’s face

“Everyone hates me huh?” Eunji asked as she looked up to stop the tears from coming out. 

“No, of course not. They are just shocked but they’ll come around. You know how much we adore you” He smiled

Last night, when Eunji went back to Yuta’s house to tell them her decision, she saw the look of disappointment from her friends, especially Jaehyun

Flashback

“Proposal?” Jaehyun asked

“Jaehyun-ah…” Johnny called the younger one once again

“Jaehyun oppa!” Eunji approached Jaehyun and checked on his hands “Are you ok?”

“What proposal? Eunji, what proposal?” He looked at his mate in struggle as he tries to hide his emotions

“I will move in with Suho oppa and his pack” She said

“So in the end, you did choose him” Jaehyun said

“Oppa?”

“Yuta Hyung. I’ll head out first” Jaehyun said before heading to the door

“Hey! You’re in no condition to drive back home. I’ll take you home!” Johnny briefly looked at his cousin before following Jaehyun out

“You’re leaving our pack?” Haechan approached his best friend

“It’s not like that. I just don’t know where I belong now” Eunji sadly said

“You belong with us. What’s there to ponder about!” Mark said

“How dare am I to say I belong in this pack when someone already claimed to be my mate” 

“I can’t believe that after all these years, you just run straight back to that side” Mark shook his head at his sister

“You know I have no choice in this” She argued

“Hey, you know you don’t have to leave. You’re still our sister” Taeyong said

“Don’t leave me” Haechan said

“Think it through Eunji-ah. You never have to leave our pack” Doyoung commented

“We always have your back” Taeil guaranteed the younger one

“I wish I could stay too” Eunji said as she tries to stop her tears

End of flashback

“Did Jaehyun oppa come back home just fine?” Eunji took a glance at Jaehyun’s house

“He’s ok. He just got very drunk last night” Taeyong answered. He looked at his sister in pity. He’s never seen her this sad before. “Hey, you know that no matter what, you will always be my sister, our sister. You belong to our pack as much as you think you belong in theirs. You have a home here so you can come back whenever” Taeyong assured her. 

“Thank you oppa…” 

Kai saw his mate and his heart fluttered in response. Overjoy is an understatement on how he felt when she said yes about staying with them. Now he can’t wait to make more memories with his mate. Slowly, he approached Eunji and her brother. 

“Good morning” Kai greeted

“Oppa, this is Kim Jongin” Eunji introduced

“Pleasure to meet you” Taeyong offered his hand

“Pleasure is all mine” Kai shook his hand

“Please take care of my sister. Keep her safe” Taeyong said as he let go of the handshake

“I’ll make sure my mate will always be safe” Kai assured him

Eunji looked at Kai with wide eyes. That was a sweet promise, yet she seemed to feel off about it. 

“Are you ready?” Kai turned to Eunji

Eunji briefly looked at Jaehyun’s house once again before nodding at Kai. Her heart is somehow feeling empty.

Jaehyun wasn’t drunk. He didn’t have a sip of the alcohol that Johnny made him. He stared out his window and watched his mate getting ready to leave the house, to leave their pack. His heart shattered to pieces. Johnny tried to convince him last night to confess his feelings to Eunji, but how could he? It just doesn’t seem sincere anymore if he does it now. He only has himself to blame though. He really should have just confessed about his feelings a long time ago. 

“She’s really leaving now, hyung” A familiar voice said

“Shouldn’t you be there with your sister?” Jaehyun said

“I don’t approve of this and I want to make sure she knows that” Mark said

“She’s clearly not happy to leave” Jaehyun sadly looked at another man joined Eunji and Taeyong

“Then just tell her hyung. Please” Mark pleaded

“I wish it’s that easy”

“Don’t you think we need to find out why she has two wolves claiming to be her mate?” Another voice said

“Haechan is right hyung. Should we seek the elders’ help?” Mark asked

“I’m actually doing that. I’m leaving to visit the elders in Paju later” Jaehyun felt like it’s hard for him to breathe when Kai held Eunji's hand and helped her get in the car. 

“We’ll go with you hyung” Haechan said

“I admire your patience, really” Mark shook his head

“How can you stand your mate be with another wolf claiming to be her mate”

“That’s the thing. It’s not easy”  Jaehyun closed his eyes and held on his chest as if that would stop the pain he’s feeling
