Eunji was trying to fix her twin’s hair as they entered the restaurant that their brother asked them to come to. They were accompanied by their father’s men as they entered the private hall. 

 

“Oh come on. I’m sober now Eunji” Mark said as he brushed her hands off

 

“It’s the first meal we’ll have with Suho oppa after a while, so for me, please be nice” Eunji begged

“I ate already. I’ll be here just to accompany you” Mark Shrugged

 

“I know your appetite. You’re still hungry. Whatever you had in Yuta oppa’s house is not enough”

 

“Let’s get this over with. Me and Haechan plan to play Mario Kart for the rest of the night” Mark shook his head

 

“At our place?”

 

“Yeah. He’s sleeping over”

 

“Then we shouldn’t keep him waiting” The younger one said as the two were directed to the private room by the waitress

 

“There you are” Suho smiled as he opened he stood up to welcome his siblings

 

“Oppa!” Eunji ran to her older brother and gave him a tight hug “I missed you!”

 

“I didn’t quite eat because you suddenly called us so can we eat now?” Mark looked at his older brother then the unfamiliar men seated by the table

 

“Ah. Yes. I wanted to introduce you guys to my friends. My pack” Suho said after letting go of Eunji. He directed his siblings to their seats as he started to introduce them to s. “This is my younger brother Mark and youngest sister Eunji and this is our maknae, Sehun” Suho pointed at the quiet guy sitting on the corner

 

“Your younger brother is right. We should start eating” Sehun blurted

 

“That’s rude of you!” The guy sitting beside him said “Hi! I’m Minseok. They call me Xiumin though. Hi!” The cute baby-faced member beside the maknae said

 

“Hi I’m Chen. Nice to meet both of you” He offered his hand to Eunji. The younger one took it and smiled

 

“Baby girl! I missed you! It’s been ages!” A familiar man shoved Chen’s hand away and hugged her from behind

 

“Baekhyun oppa! You’re squishing me!”  The younger one complained, but she was smiling. She did miss Baekhyun after all

 

“My turn! Baby girl!!! Oppa missed you so much!” The taller man pushed Baekhyun away and gave Eunji a tight back hug

 

“Chanyeol oppa. Ouch!” Eunji tried to breathe

 

“You’re going to take all the air away from her and kill her right there” A voice interrupted

 

“That’s Kyungsoo. Don’t mind him. He’s always serious” Suho said

 

“He’s telling the truth though. Chanyeol hyung, let her go” A deep voice said. Chanyeol immediately let go of the girl and scratched the back of his head. It’s as if the older one knew he’d be in trouble.

 

“And that is Kim Jongin. We call him Kai” Suho introduced. Both Mark and Eunji looked at the man sitting in front of Eunji. The man in front of her stared at her with so much affection that Mark started to shake his head. He’s seen this before. It’s the same look that Jaehyun gives his sister. Then as if on cue, the man’s eyes changed to yellow

 

“Hi. It’s nice to finally be able to talk to you” He gently said as he continued to stare at Eunji

 

“Uhm. Yes, same I guess?” Eunji awkwardly laughed and looked away. She’d be a hypocrite to say that the man in front of her is not attractive, but she has a feeling on why his eyes turned yellow. There’s only one reason for that. 

 

“Is that why you brought us here?” Mark looked at his brother in disdain

 

“Mark…” Eunji called on her brother

 

“This a trap for you. You know the look that the man gave you” Mark stood up and pointed at Kai

 

“Mark, stop it! You promised to be nice” She held on her brother’s hand

 

“She has not turned yet. She doesn’t know what mating feels yet, so you can’t trap her!” Mark pulled Eunji with him

 

“Mark, I’m not trapping her. I’m just happy that my sister is going to be part of my pack” Suho calmly said

 

“S-she, no, she can’t” Mark closed his eyes. Anger slowly flowing in his veins. He wanted so bad to let his sister know about Jaehyun, but he knows he’s in no position to do so “We’re leaving” Mark grabbed his sister’s hand 

 

“Actually, no” Eunji looked at Mark and pulled her hand back “I’d really want to finally have dinner” She said

 

“Are you crazy? Let’s head back to where our pack is!” Mark angrily said

 

“I’m actually starving Mark. I want to sit down and finish my meal” She looked at her twin

“You’re choosing them?” Mark looked at her in horror

 

“No, Mark. I’m choosing to eat” She said as she sat down

 

Kai looked at his mate and felt his heart shattering in pieces. Did his mate just say “No” to choosing their pack?

 

“I can’t believe you. Go back home when you’re finally thinking straight” Mark walked out and left the room

 

“Wow his temper is worse than Sehun’s” Xiumin laughed

 

“Sorry about that, everyone. He just tends to be, well I guess protective of me” Eunji apologized

 

“No need to apologize princess! We’re happy you chose us!” Baekhyun cheerfully said as he started to eat his steak

 

“Didn’t you hear what she said? She’s not officially choosing our pack. She’s choosing to eat” Sehun bluntly said

 

“Hey don’t pressure my sister. Let her eat first” Suho said as he put food on her plates

 

“Yes yes let her eat! Do you still love steaks? Here, let oppa put some on your plate!” Chanyeol offered

 

Kai cleared his throat and looked at his friend

 

“I mean, I probably shouldn’t do that” Chanyeol scratched the back of his head

 

“But you’re going to join our pack right?” Baekhyun asked

 

“Oppa…” Eunji looked at the older man

 

“You belong with us now Eunji. With this threat going around, it’s only right that we keep you with us” Baekhyun said

 

“Actually Baekhyun is right” Suho said “I don’t feel comfortable not seeing you around. Think about how Kai feels” Suho said

 

Eunji bit her lower lip and looked at the man sitting in front of her. His yellow eyes stared back at her. Is he really her mate?

“Why are you suddenly back? Where’s Eunji?” Haechan asked when he saw his angry friend come back to Yuta’s house

 

“Jaehyun hyung!” Mark approached the older man

 

“Where’s Eunji, Mark?” Johnny asked, confused as to why his cousin all of a sudden is acting mad.

 

“You really love my sister right? You are really her mate right?” Mark asked

 

“Yes Mark. She’s my mate” Jaehyun looked at the younger one 

 

“What is going on Mark?” Taeyong asked

 

“What’s her scent?” Mark asked

 

“Why are you asking such questions Mark?” Doyoung asked

 

“Jasmine. She smells like Jasmine with a hint of sweet strawberry if you want me to be exact. Tell me did something happen to her?” Jaehyun asked, concerned. His eyes turned yellow, proof that his emotions are now heightened.

 

“Then you better tell her now before we lose her” Mark said as he sat beside Haechan

 

“What are you talking about?” Jaehyun asked

 

“Another wolf is claiming to be her mate. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. The way he looked at her, his eyes turned yellow as he stared at my sister” Mark said

 

“She has another mate? How is that even possible?” Jisoo asked as she looked at her mate

 

“Who is it Mark?” Taeyong asked

 

“Kim Jongin. He’s part of our older brother’s pack” Mark looked at Jisoo

 

“Kai oppa? Wow, I mean, but how is this even possible?” Jisoo looked at Jaehyun whose head is hung low

 

Jaehyun felt his chest tighten when Mark talked about another man claiming Eunji to be his mate. All this time, he thought things would fall naturally between him and Eunji, but now that another wolf is in the picture, how will he even tell his mate about how he feels. He was patiently waiting for her to turn before he could admit to her how he really feels, but now, if he confesses to her, wouldn’t she feel like he’s lying just to make her stay with the pack? 

 

“Wouldn’t it be weird if Eunji actually chooses that other wolf” Jungwoo blurted

 

“YA!” Taeil said

 

“Johnny Hyung, can you make me that drink again?” Jaehyun stood up and asked the older man

 

“Jaehyun-ah. Just calm down. We don’t know what’s going on yet” Taeyong said

 

“Hyung the drink. Please. Before I lose it” Jaehyun looked at Johnny

 

“Come with me” Johnny guided the younger man to the bar

 

“He will be ok right?” Yuta asked

 

“Poor Jaehyun. I’ve never seen him this broken before” Jennie said

 

“What did Eunji say though?” Jisoo asked Mark

 

“Well she’s not with me isn’t? She chose to stay there” Mark bitterly spat

 

“Maybe she’s just hungry” Haechan said

 

“Yes she did say that too” Mark said

 

“You know her when she’s hungry” Haechan said

 

“What am I when I’m hungry?” Eunji’s voice was suddenly heard

 

“You’re back?” Mark looked at his twin

 

“I told you I was hungry. You need to feed me when I’m hungry” Eunji said

 

“What happened?” Taeyong asked

 

“Mark told everyone already?” Eunji asked. She noticed Jaehyun and Johnny’s absence

 

“He did. He said Kai oppa is your mate?” Jisoo asked

 

“T-that’s what he said” Eunji awkwardly said

 

“How do you feel?” Doyoung carefully asked

 

“I accepted his proposal” Eunji answered. 

 

A sound of broken glass was heard. The drink that was on Jaehyun’s hand is now causing a big mess on the floor. 

 

“Jaehyun-ah!” Johnny held on the younger ones hand when small pieces of glass pierced his skin

 

“Proposal?” Jaehyun asked
