"I wonder if he's there already...." I mumbled as I walked to the park. After a 10 minute walk I arrived at the park. I quickly looked around until I saw a familiar figure sitting at a bench. "I hope it's him" I mumbled as I went near the bench. I can't see his face though because he's wearing a hoodie. I quickly went in front of him.
Sungjong's POV
"What's taking her so long?" I thought as I looked at my phone that says 2:50. "What's wrong with me she isn't even late or something" I said as I look at the sky. My stomach grumbled as I was really hungry because I really want to see her.
A while ago
"Ya! Sungjong-ah!!" Sunggyu hyung said as he caught me running.
"Where do you think you're going? You haven't even eaten yet! You should at least eat with us first!" Sunggyu hyung said.
"Hyung.. me and dongwoo hyung are eating at home" Hoya hyung said .
"Jinjja? Arasseo" Gyu hyung said as he looked at me again.
"Are you going with them or not?" Gyu hyung asked me.
"I'll go with them" I said as L hyung said something
"I thought you're meeting with her?" L hyung said. "I'm going to go straight to our meeting place, I'll just eat there" I said as they nodded.
"Arasseo" Gyu hyung said.
"Kaja maknae" Hoya hyung said as we went out and rode the van.
I put on my hoodie and look at my surroundings. There weren't any kids here because it's a bit cold outside. I closed my eyes as I felt the cold breeze. I didn't realize that I drifted off to sleep.
Your POV
"Aigoo oppa's sleeping already" I said as I sat beside him, letting his head land on my shoulders. I really like the weather since I really loved winter. I looked at Sungjong oppa's sleeping face. He really looks like an angel. I quickly grabbed my phone and looked at the time. It was 3:10 "How long was he waiting?" I said as I put my head on top of his. I felt his head move but I didn't care as I closed my eyes.
"Ya, Lee Minhae" oppa said as I lazily answered "Waeyeo?. "How long have you been here?" he said as he didn't remove his head on my shoulders. "5 minutes ago" I said as I removed my head on top of his and sat properly, he also did the same. "Jinjja? Mian" he said as he yawned. "There's no need to say sorry oppa, by the way oppa?" "Nae waeyeo?" "Why do you want to meet up with me?" I said as he looked at me. "Ya! Pabo don't you even know what today is?" he said "Of course I know" I said as I sighed.
"Oppa...." "Waeyeo?" he said as I put out something from my bag. "Did you eat already?" I asked. "Nope..." he said as I widened my eyes. "Aish be happy because I made this for you" I said as I gave him a lunchbox. "Y-you cooked?" he said as I nodded. "I actually don't have anything to give to you so I just made you something" I said as he opened the lunchbox. "Kimbap!!!!!!" he said as he hugged me. "Gomawo!! Your the best girlfriend ever!" he said as I laughed and watch him eat. "Don't tell them I gave you that" I said as he gave me a confused look. "Waeyeo?" "Because I just let Hoya and Dongwoo oppa eat pork" I said as he pinched my cheeks. "Aigoo gomawo cutie" he said as I blushed "Just eat oppa!" I said as I pouted and rubbed my cheeks.
After he finished eating he dragged me somewhere. "Oppa! Where are we going?" I asked as he answered. "We need to drink something after eating right? So we're going to a cafe!" he said as I laughed at how energetic he is today. "Arasseo oppa" I said as we went in the cafe. People were looking at us as I remembered that Sungjong oppa wasn't wearing a disguise. To my surprise he held my hand as I saw him wearing a mask and a hoodie with a thick scarf around his neck. "Wow I didn't know that you prepared already" I whispered to him. "Of course your oppa is always ready when things like this happen" he said as I laughed and look at the menu. "So.. I'm ordering right?" I said as he shook his head. "I am now you like a caramel frappucchino right?" he asked as I nodded. "Arasseo just wait right here ok jagiya?" he said as I nodded.
After 10 minutes he went back with 2 frappucchino's in his hand. I looked at him surprisingly because the cashier lady didn't even noticed him. "You're curious aren't you?" he said as he sipped his frappucchino. "Well obviously is because the cashier lady is an ahjumma" he said as I nodded. "Ohhh... that's why" I said as I saw people staring at us. "Uhmmm o-oppa? They're looking at us...." I said as Sungjong oppa also looked at them. "You want to drink this somewhere?" he said as I nodded. We quickly went out of the cafe after that crazy encounter with inspirits, we went back to the park where we met. There were no people there since it's really cold.
I was riding at the swing while drinking my half drank frappucchino when Sungjong oppa went in front of me. "Ya It's wrong to drink while riding the swing" he said as I still keep on swinging. "Waeyeo? No one said I can't" I said as he held the chain of my swing which made my swing stopped. He looked at me and put his face closer to mine. "I'm the one who said that" he said as I laughed. "Ya! Utjima! (Don't laugh)" "Wae? Your breath smells so bad hahaha try eating mint after drinking coffee ok?" I said as he started getting mint from his bag, ate one and sat on the bench.
"Oppa!!" I said as Sungjong oppa went far away from me. "Ya! Don't tell me that you want to ignore me because of what I told you mianhae..." I said as I stood up and get my bag. "I'm gonna go to the convenient store for a while arasseo?" I said as Sungjong oppa nodded.
I quickly went in the convenient store I wanted to buy something to drink so I bought a water bottle. As I went out someone was leaning on the wall outside the convenient store. To my surprise it was Sungjong oppa. As I saw him he quickly grabbed my hand and dragged me somewhere. "Kaja" he said as I nodded and walked with him. "Where are we going?" I asked him as he stayed silent and dragged me somewhere. We both stopped in front of a bus stop he looked at me concerned. "I'm fine but where are we going?" I asked him. "At Hongdae" he said "we'll just do shopping there" he said as I smiled. "Jinjja?!!! Yay!!" I said as he laughed.
As we went there we bought a lot of clothes and some other stuff. Both of us were really exhausted as we went out of the bus and walked back home. "You want to drink something jagi?" he asked as I shook my head. "Arasseo wait" he said as he dragged me as we arrived at the park again. "Why are we here oppa?" I said as he smiled at me. "I wanted to give you something" he said as he told me to sit on the bench as he pulled something out of his bag. He sat down and hid it behind him.
"What's that oppa?" I asked as he shook his head. "Close your eyes first" he said as I closed my eyes and felt something being worn on my neck and something being put on my hand. "Now open" he said as I looked below and saw that he gave me a heart shaped necklace and a keychain of Happy on my hand. I looked at the necklace and saw my initials and Sungjong oppa's initials at the front and back. I became teary eyed as I hugged him. "Gomawo oppa" I said as I started sobbing. He started comforting me by patting my back. "Shh-shhh it's ok you also make me want to cry jagi" he said as I felt a tear on my shoulder. I broke the hug and looked at him. He wiped my tears with his thumbs and smiled at me. "Oppa" I said as he looked at me. "Here" I said as I gave him my hand-made bracelet. "I-it's not that special but-" I said as he hugged me. "Gomawo jagi" he said as my heart beated so fast and I started to cry again. "I-I don't want this to end oppa" I said as I cried. "You've been so kind to me" I said as he wiped my tears again.
"Thank you also Minhae-ah for always being there with me and for being my first official yeojachingu" he said as he looked at me smiling. I can't help but smile also. "Actually... I liked you already before this even started" he said as you look at him eye widened. "J-jinjja?" you said as he nodded. "Well... I don't know but since when our fight before I was always worried of you then I knew that since then I liked you" he said as you were shocked. "J-jinjja?" you said still shocked as if that was the only word in your dictionary.
"I-I may not be your best boyfriend but I'm happy that I've made you happy this whole month" he said as I cried again. I hugged him tightly. "Ani.. your my best namjachingu ever and if I have met you before I wouldn't break up with you.. you were always there for me thank you for making me happy" I said as I broke the hug and saw him shed a tear. "Saranghae" I said as he went near me. "Nado saranghae yeobo I guess this is goodbye" he said as he kissed me. "Nae... annyeong nae namjachingu" I said in my mind as I kissed him back.
