Three weeks after, it was Joohyun who found herself waiting for Seulgi to finish her shift on a Friday night.

Prior to this, they've been either texting or messaging each other on social media apps in between. It was a either a simple "Good morning Dr. Joohyun," from Seulgi or a "Kumusta shift mo ngayon Seulgi?" from Joohyun.

They will greet each other every morning and talk about how their day went before they go to sleep every night.

Joohyun appreciates this so much - that someone is willing to listen to her rant about how cumbersome bureauracy can be and that someone will laugh with her when something silly or frivolous happens at work. 

She can also sense how sincere Seulgi is when the latter reminds her to take care of her wellbeing amid the pressure and the pusillanimous environment that she sees herself in especially when no one is willing to take one step further to have dubious claims on textbooks or supplementary education materials corrected.

She appreciates it, that she has someone like Seulgi in her life.

That's why she decided to thank her in her own simple way.
