There were days when it really gets hard though and Joohyun will be drowning in doubts and questions. She cannot help but be scared that Seulgi will get weary and tired of being kept a secret, that Seulgi will wake up one day and realize that she will rather build a future with someone who's also young and who's as idealistic as she is, or that she will realize that Joohyun is about to hit her 30s and that their interests and priorities will definitely diverge, that they are destined to head to opposite directions, take different paths. 

Whenever this happens, Seulgi will remind her that she is not alone and that there are two of them trying to figure this out together. Joohyun will be placated, reassured and will continue.

She is almost sure they can make it, so much so that when their eighth month together was just around the corner, Joohyun was already planning what they will do for their first anniversary.

She was in this state of mind when one night, someone rang her doorbell.

It was 10pm on a Thursday night. Seulgi has not told her she will drop by, nor any of her friends or family members, so Joohyun wondered who could it be.

When she opened her door, her heart hit when she saw the person standing outside.

It was Se-Young.
