Joohyun felt happy.
After a very long time, she couldn't believe it herself, but now, with how her life is, she can say that she's finally happy again.
She found an unexpected ally. Never mind it's some person whom she only knows through a username called "MBB."
But this MBB gave her that one tiny push she needed to continue.
MBB sent her not just an artwork, but an animated short - one that's simple, but creative and strong.
The animated short simply embodied every Filipino parent's dream of seeing their kid graduating, finishing their studies. The kid couldn't really climb up the stairs to her stage though for her graduation ceremony as the scientific knowledge and information laid out for her to learn were mistake or error-ridden - so even as she climbs a step, she will be pulled back, the stairs crumbling down, pulling her to a never-ending rewind, a loop of going to class, trying to learn, but not really learning what she should. The stairs are there, but the steps are broken.
The message of the animated short was universal and spoke to Filipino parents who spent lots of their hard-earned money to make sure their child gets a shot at education.
