The light and gaiety have disappered from Seulgi's eyes.

Taeyong, BamBam and Yeri couldn't help but notice their friend slipping away, falling further into the cracks, day by day. It's been three months since Joohyun balked at Seulgi's requests for them to spend Friday nights together, the way they used to.

Seulgi still functions amazingly at work - no one and nothing will be able to dim the pertinacious grit of her skill, of explaining science through art - but the flicker of her joy is about to burn out, this they know — this, she cannot hide from them.

"Ano ba talagang nangyari kay Seulgi at Dr. Joohyun?" Taeyong asked one day as they walked down the narrow strip of road behind their building. They eschewed going to the main highway and decided to take this lesser-known route to exit their compound instead.

A woman alighted.

"Potaena, guys, 'yung ex-wife ni Dr. Joohyun!" Yeri said.

The woman held Joohyun's hand as she walked her to the passenger seat. She then went back to the vehicle too, then drove away.
