Over 700 errors.

There were over 700 errors in the science learning materials that Joohyun's department has reviewed. The errors ranged from the identification of body parts to the properties of matter, to even the name of the government agencies in the Philippines - PAG-ASA, for one, was spelled out as Philippine Atmospheric, Geographical and Astronomical Administration, when it stands for Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.

She was frustrated. The production of the books will cost about P80 million, so it's imperative that these errors be corrected, especially as these learning materials will influence what thousands of Filipino students will think and believe in when it comes to science.

She's sent her recommendations to the Kagawaran ng Kalinangan at Pag-aaral, but she's not sure how the concerned authorities will act on them.
