Chapter 12

Junhyung took out his keys and entered the house. He spent the whole night thinking about what he should do from then on. But he couldn’t come up with an answer. He decided to talk to chaerin about it. He didn’t want to break up. But he didn’t know what chaerin wanted.

As he entered, he saw a sight that pulled his heartstrings. Gikwang lying on chaerin’s laps, both of them holding hands. Sleeping in each other’s embrace.

JUNHYUNG’S POV

It was exactly like the old times, when they were a couple. The images of them cuddling, hugging each other, holding hands, those images just replayed over and over again.

-----FLASHBACK------

“GIKWANGIE! LET GO OF ME. TICKLISH! ITS TICKLISH!” chaerin whined as gikwang hugged her tightly, breathing into her neck. 

“chaerinnie, saranghae!” he whispered, loud enough for jun hyung to hear. Every second junhyung saw them together, he died inside. But he needed to stay strong, he needed to be there for chaerin. 

-End of flashback-

I don’t know when it started, but my vision started to blur. The stinging tears trickled down my cheeks. Ever since I met chaerin, I have become such a weak person. How many times have my tears fallen for her? But she was all worth it, I always told myself. But gikwang is by her side now. She’ll definitely choose him over me.

But… I need to keep her safe from gikwang. I cannot allow him to hurt her once again.

“kwangie, na du saranghae!” she muttered in her sleep.

I couldn’t feel anything after that.

No one’s POV

Junhyung packed his bag and left. He didn’t turn back. He couldn’t take it anymore. He was about to break. He knew he was supposed to keep chaerin safe, but there was a limit to how much he could take.

Junhyung’s POV

All this time we were together; she never loved me, did she? She was always in love with gikwang. I bet I was just a substitute. Always have been, always will be.

I could feel anger boiling up.

Since the day chaerin and I became friends, I wished for us to become a couple, all I ever wanted was to have her. But now all I want is to forget her. Forget everything. Leave everything behind.

That's it. I'm done. I'm done with all this.

im sorry for being MIA. :x but im a useless writer who's lazy and has examinations coming. 

i'll update chapter 13 tmr! [my update will most probably come in about 17 hours?]   after that i'll most probably be MIA again. (but it'll be shorter this time, i promise!) please go ahead and abandon this fic if you want to. :'( i apologise for my lack of updates. :x
