Coming from a rich family had it's own perks.

Jiyong, a high school student, came in his lavish car driven by a chaffeur to his school. 

He would be early to class, having enough time to communicate with all his friends and copying homework off of the girls that were always trying to get his attention. 

A small smile and a wink would have those girls swooning and his friends would beg him to chill or else they'd have nothing for themselves. 

Everything he needed was directly within reach, 

However, when it came to grades, he was always in the last five rankings. 

He got away with not telling his parents in the first term about it but they eventually found out in the second term and he got an earful.

What is the use of education at all for a person like me? He thinks angrily as he goes to his room after his parents were done with him. I am gonna own dads' business later! And if not I still have money to start a business of my own! So, why? 

A knock his heard on his room door and he asks them to come in.

His sister enters the room with a worried expression. 

"Jiyong-" 

"If it's about my grades, I don't wanna hear it!" He says in angry tone, "Why do we even have to study?" 

His sister sighs, "Jiyong, we need to study because people believe we are priveleged. We need to study to prove we are much more than that and have some academic achivements to back us up."

"Why do we care about what others' think!?"

"That's not all. We should to have an academic standing in order to face the world. Our business is not run by people of no knowledge. We need knowledge in order to be able to understand everything around us and comprehend things better. Experience takes you far, but it is knowledge that accompanies experience"

"Now tell me how alegbra or trigonometry will help me" 

"It will! What if your children ask you someday about it and you don't know while being so rich? How do you think they will feel?" 

"I will just get them a tutor! It's really not rocket science, noona."

"Math is just one subject you need to do in school out of many! Just focus on the rest at least- oh!" His sister pauses as her eyebrows furrow, "Thank you for the idea, Jiyong. I will ask our parents for a tutor!" 

"Wait, what?"

"Yes. You are right. Why didn't we think about it? A tutor will really help you!"

"Wait, noona, please don't-"

But his sister has already left the room and shut the door.

He sighs. 

He will be fighting his parents again tomorrow and making up promises to do better.
