Day 14

Taeyeon and I have been dating for a little while now and I still get butterflies in my stomach with every caress and kiss. Today was a special day because it is our first holiday together!

Normally we go out for a party at our friend Hyo’s house but she was on some European getaway with her beau.

Tiffany insisted, in Hyo’s honor, that we host a party.

I was a little hesitant to tell Taeyeon about it because well…she really didn’t need a costume but she was really excited. I told her she could do something really scary and be more herself during the party if she wanted but Taeyeon being Taeyeon…she showed up as Nemo…the fish.

“Taeyeon why did you show up as a fish?”

Looking down at her costume, “I love Nemo. He is so wise! I love that he is fearless and determined to keep swimming even when times get hard.”

“Why didn’t you want to be a vampire?”

“But I am that everyday? Isn’t Halloween to be someone you are not? I could never be a fish.”

I knew I couldn’t be mad at her. She was so painfully adorable.

“What are you exactly?” Taeyeon asked.

“I am the one and only Jessica Jung.”

Taeyeon looked at me strangely, “What the? Were you too lazy to find a costume?”

“No.” I stepped closer to Taeyeon, “I picked a super y costume.”

Taeyeon started laughing, “I won’t lie that I do find you y but next year we should do a couple’s costume. I don’t need anyone else to see how y you are.” Leaning in for a kiss, Taeyeon laced our hands, “maybe if we paint your face blue we can say you are Dori and that would make this a couple outfit.”

“Don’t you dare.”

Taeyeon grinned and kissed my cheek, “Next time I will be more careful to make sure everyone knows you are with me.”

I hope the next year and the year after and the year after we will have the best couple outfits.
