Tis the season to be merry and bright and have a romantic Christmas with my girlfriend! Most would never believe me if I said vampires love Christmas. It is apparently one of the holidays where we all become creatures of the night to admire the beautiful lights and holiday activities.

Taeyeon in particular is going wild with eating all the Christmas cookies, Christmas cakes, Christmas pies, and any sugary Christmas drinks. She was practically bouncing off the walls with how much sugar was in her system.

Despite Taeyeon’s obsession with The Nightmare Before Christmas, this holiday has been full of sparkly rainbows of classic Christmas traditions. I think I even heard Taeyeon singing along to Christmas carols when we walked the street. I secretly need to find more ways to get her to sing.

I never thought I would say it, but I am so thankful to be spending Christmas with a vampire.

Taeyeon held me from behind as we stood high above the city skyline, “I don’t ever want to go down.”

Taeyeon smiled as she nuzzled into my neck, “Same.”

Turning around, I held Taeyeon’s waist as I gazed into her eyes, “How are you this excited about Christmas when you lived so long?”

Taeyeon leaned in for a kiss, “Simple. Because this is the first of many Christmases I get to spend with you. No matter how many times I get to celebrate this holiday, the true magic of Christmas time is only felt when you are in love. Right now all my love is for you.”

I could feel butterflies explode in my stomach, “I think this is my favorite Christmas too. I love you Tae…”

A huge smile adorned Taeyeon’s face before she leaned in and took my breath away.
