Hyuna watched with amazement as her cat-eyed daughter grinned haughtily

"This is too easy mom!"

Hyuna laughed watching a growing Jennie Kim hitting those target practices with her own bow and arrow. She looked at the other child and laughed louder as Lisa grumbled and stomped angrily, looking at her own bow and arrow as if she were going to destroy it with her gaze alone.

"Why do we need to learn weapons anyways?" Lisa grumbled "We're already strong enough with our elements! Does having a weapon really make that much of a difference?"

"Don't be such a spoilsport just because you " Jennie smirked making Lisa yell at her

"Yah!"

"And having a weapon truly makes a difference Lalisa"

The two girls turned to see their dad

"Dad!"

Lisa gave a 'hmp' look and crossed her arms as Jennie waved with enthusiasm

"Look, dad! I hit some of them at the center"

Jisung smiled and pat Jennie's head who pouted

"Dad! I'm not a little girl anymore!"

Jisung smirked and said "You'll always be a little girl to me, and congrats on using the bow and arrow....for beginners anyways"

"Yah!"

Hyuna giggled "Now stop teasing them Jisung"

With that, the family of four continued training and having fun...

Not noticing two pairs of sad eyes looking at them longingly

The stadium was packed once again despite their opponent coming from a newer school. Lisa looked around and realized that their opponent was all boys, young but some actually looked older.

"Do you think that a few of them are experienced?" Hyeri asked as they began stretching

"Maybe? The 'they're freshies from a new school' may be a ruse to let our guard down" Lisa shared

Chaeyoung nodded in agreement "Yeah, let's just finish this as quickly as possible."

"We got this Chaeyoung" Suzy smiled while Seulgi smirked, her eyes glowing green

"They better prepare themselves. Because we're not holding back at all"

Chaeyoung smiled at Seulgi and nodded; ever since the realization yesterday, Chaeyoung took it upon herself to show more emotion, particularly to Seulgi because she just feels...safe and warm around her.

It's like she can keep her guard down around her.

"All players get to position!"

The announcer yelled as the cheers at the stadium grew even louder

"You got this Rosie!" Joy and Jennie yelled before glaring at each other

"...I hope you hold back even for a bit Chaeyoung," Jisoo thought worriedly but a trickle of excitement coursed through her. It's been a while since she watch sports just like this and with Chaeyoung being one of the players.

It gives her a chance to admire the younger girl and see how strong she is without any threats.

She just hopes there will be no more shadow monsters appearing this time around

Irene just looked on with a stoic look "Show them what you're made of..."

"Irene?"

Irene looked at her side and finally let out a small smile at Wendy who bought her some food and drinks

"Are those for me?!" Yeri shrieked and snatched the snacks away as Wendy protested at her

"Hey! Those are for me and Irene!"

Irene rolled her eyes, her small smile turning playful as she watch Yeri ignore Wendy and proceeded to eat the snacks

"What is it, Wen?" Irene asked

Wendy sighed at Yeri but a fond look is on her face "Just wondering why you're...glowing"

Irene raised an eyebrow and shrugged "Must be your imagination, I'm not using my powers right now." She then smirked playfully "Maybe you're just too in love with me"

Wendy blushed slightly and laughed "Yeah, let's just watch and cheer for our bear. I'm influencing you too much"

They all watched in anticipation as their school is now sporting their yellow uniform with black flags on their belts against iKon who were wearing blue uniforms with red flags attached to their belts.

"The match starts....now!"

The stadium changed to a winter wonderland as those water elzards like Lisa already started shivering from the cold

"Well, this could be troubling" Lisa muttered and dread started rising when she saw an elzard on the opposing team gather ice energy while another one is gathering the wind.

"Winter Storm!"

Lisa's team was immediately trapped in a storm with the harsh wind blowing loudly in their ears and their visibility getting lower

"An ice and air elzard...it's a collaboration technique," Chaeyoung thought and yelled out loud "Suzy!"

"Piece of cake!"

Suzy smirked and started glowing bright orange as the snow was already melting around her. She fired a fireball near her teammate and one of their opponents shouted in pain as he started rolling on the ground

"Get his flag!"

The teammate nodded and used his lightning energy to quickly snatch the flag

"Suzy spread it! I'll help!" Hyeri shouted, flying up to the ground

Suzy nodded and she spread her flames as much as she can and soon, she can see Chaeyoung quickly getting away from the light with 2 flags already in her hand. Her eyes narrowed a bit

"How did she manage to snatch those flags with this visibility? It's so hard to see"

Hyeri took advantage of the raging wind in the winter storm as she pulsed with air energy and she easily managed to take control of the air, using it to spread Suzy's fire and soon...

All of the players can now be seen

Lisa clicked her tongue seeing one of her teammates losing a flag to an earth elzard of the enemy. Judging by his built, he's probably the leader of the other team.

"Retreat!" Hanbin, the leader of iKon, shouted to his team and they quickly hid. Some are encased in earth, some use fire, others are flying, and others use ice.

"A single ice user...they don't seem to have a water elzard or a lightning elzard" Lisa muttered as she smirked

They are truly rookies

Because they just revealed their elements to the whole team

"Seulgi!" Lisa shouted at the older girl who was floating, her monolid eyes observing the enemy "Lift them all up with the help of Hyeri!"

Hanbin's eyes widened "They can do that?" He does not want to take any chances

"Bobby! Get them!" He shouted at his best friend who was immediately flying towards Seulgi and Hyeri "Dong-hyuk help Bobby with fire!"

Dong-hyuk summoned a huge fireball and quickly launched it towards Seulgi and Hyeri with Bobby adding in some wind power

"Air Blast!"

The fireball was bigger and faster because of Bobby's attack and Chan-woo took this moment to snatch a few flags

Chaeyoung protected one team member and glared at Chan-woo's earth element which managed to snatch the flag of the other member.

"Lightning strike!"

Chan-woo crossed his arms with earth and managed to let out a small grunt at the quite powerful strike despite him using the earth element

"What the heck? I wasn't supposed to feel that" Chan-woo thought while frowning

Seulgi ignored the incoming heat and offered her hand to Hyeri "Let's share some energy" She smiled as if there was no huge fireball nearing them at all. Hyeri looked weirdly at Seulgi

"Uhm...there's a fireball coming you know"

Seulgi smirked "What? You don't trust our friends?"

Just in time, a huge water ball slammed into the fireball which was almost an inch till it almost hit the two air elzards. Hyeri looked down and saw Lisa and Suzy smirking confidently at them.

"...showoff" Hyeri scoffed and accepted Seulgi's hand as the wind quickly managed to pick up around them.

This was one of the plays that Sandara managed to train them in

Chaeyoung saw what the play is all about now as Lisa quickly started making an earth wall around Chaeyoung

"Do your thing, Chae..." Lisa murmured as she looked at Chaeyoung in the eyes and smiled when the chipmunk girl nodded at her. She rolled her eyes a bit though, when their teammate, the one that Chaeyoung just rescued, looked on in awe at Chaeyoung as she just stayed within Chaeyoung's arm.

"You're an earth elzard right?" Chaeyoung asked the girl in her arms who just nodded dumbly at her "Well, prepare your armor then. You'll probably know what will happen next"

"Rise of the Wind!"

One of Lisa's teammates who was an ice elzard quickly slammed his hands down the ground

"Ice Pillar!"

With the help of the boy, some struggling enemies lost their footing and were immediately lifted to the ground with the skies darkening.

Suzy and Lisa's eyes glowed blue and soon...

It started to rain

Lisa was shivering badly due to the coldness of the surroundings so Suzy put a warm hand on Lisa's shoulder begrudgingly

"Don't say a word"

Lisa snorted at that but was thankful for a bit as they stayed in their position to make it rain

"What's...happening?" Hanbin grunted while struggling against the air elzards' technique but damn

It's too strong

Thunder rumbled and iKon flinched at the sound. Jun-hoe looked down a bit and his eyes widened a bit in fear

"G-guys" He gulped "We're toast"

Jun-hoe and his teammates watched as Chaeyoung float lightly from the power of her lightning energy and when she snapped her eyes open, they were glowing in a dark violet hue. She raised her hand as thunder roared in the stadium.

Chaeyoung looked at the crowd and let out a small smirk of satisfaction as she elegantly put her hand down which was quite in contrast with the large lightning that came down and electrocuted all of their enemies.

iKon shouted in pain and their body convulsing with electricity that even their earth elzard is starting to lose consciousness

Chaeyoung quickly stopped the technique seeing that they were unconscious and all of her teammates quickly snatch the flags the moment they were settled in the ground.

"We won!" Lisa cheered and hugged Chaeyoung "and in just a single change of the stadium" She grinned cheekily

Chaeyoung chuckled "They weren't that tough if they can't even manage to land a hit on us"

"That was awesome Chaeyoung!"

Seulgi dropped down and clapped Chaeyoung's shoulder "That was more powerful than the one when you fought me!"

"Maybe because you're strong enough to even lose my focus even for a bit" Chaeyoung spoke jokingly at Seulgi making Lisa's eyes widen for a bit

"When did they get so...casual like this?"

Seulgi giggled and winked "Well, I'm flattered to get a compliment from someone like you"

"Don't get used to it" Chaeyoung smirked before settling in a small smile "But seriously, the air technique you and Hyeri pulled was great. They weren't even moving around while struggling. It shows how much control you have over them"

"Everything is easier when you're strong," Seulgi said, and somehow, the aura of agreement can be felt between the two.

"Hey! I helped in that" Hyeri crossed her arms making Chaeyoung roll her eyes

"Yeah, you did good" Chaeyoung said as the team is now starting to walk back to the bench where their coach is waiting.

Suzy caught up with them and bumped shoulders with Chaeyoung "That was awesome Chaeyoung, you never cease to surprise me"

"Yeah, thanks" Chaeyoung answered the girl. She was slightly getting used to Suzy's presence and she was just glad despite her...flirting gestures, it wasn't as annoying as Joy's.

A moment of silence and Chaeyoung sighed

"Fine...you did well as well Suzy"

Suzy giggled "Glad you knew what I was waiting for. I won't also forget that you called me first instead of Manoban here" She smirked at the scowl that Lisa is sporting right now.

"Only because you're a fire elzard" Lisa growled

"Now stop fighting each other when we just won"

They all looked at their coach who was smiling widely at them

"Great collaboration and teamwork everyone! Because of that, we won't be having any training for a week."

"But won't we be having a match soon after?" Seulgi asked

Sandara shrugged before grinning savagely "Well, I want to see you at least be challenged next match"

Chaeyoung could feel her eyebrow twitch in annoyance

What kind of coach lets her team like this?

"Well, at least I and Lisa could focus more on shadow hunting"

"Did you see that!" Jennie shouted excitedly while shaking the hand of the one next to her and much to her embarrassment

It was her sister's

Jisoo chuckled and answered with amusement swirling in her eyes "Yes Jendeuk, I saw it. Lisa has been leading the team quite well too despite being a freshman."

"Rosie is really amazing as well" Jennie muttered in adoration

"Our bear was also amazing" Wendy grinned "Did you see the way my best friend controlled the air?!"

"Yes, we did Wen" Irene chuckled, her grin was also wide at seeing such a perfect victory.

Especially the ending

As a fellow lightning elzard, Irene was deeply impressed at the control that Chaeyoung has on her lightning

"I knew you were something, Rosie..." Joy whispered as she watched Chaeyoung listen to their coach

Yeri sighed in contentment, her stomach full while being fully entertained is one of the best feelings in the world. She looked at Joy and decided to ask a question since she senses that the older girl is plotting something while glancing at Wendy

"What are you planning this time?"

Joy just looked on with a small smirk

"....Nothing"

"We're here"

It was finally the weekends and the whole Kim family plus Chaeyoung and Lisa are on a wide field where there are deep forests just before the training dummy that Hyuna probably set up for today.

"Wow..." Jisoo looked on in amazement, the wind was amazing here! They were in some kind of mountain just a bit away from the city. It was similar to the field where their dad took them for daggers training, the only difference is that Hyuna's training ground is much wider and the sun can be seen clearly as it envelopes them in a warm glow.

It was a perfect environment for an air and light elzard like Jisoo which prompts a relaxed smile on her face.

"Wah! This feels so great!" Lisa shouted happily, running around in circles and showing for a bit like summoning leaves from the grass and swirling it around her in a form of a see-through twister of leaves.

"Ugh..." Chaeyoung squinted her eyes "It's too...sunny."

"Don't like the sun too much?" Jennie smirked at the chipmunk-like girl

"I just don't go out much...but at least the wind is great"

A thud near them made the four girls look at the source and could only snicker (a raised amused eyebrow from Chaeyoung) seeing their father carrying all the bow and arrows while Hyuna was patting his head like a dog.

"Honey, I'm not a dog..." Jisung grumbled, a bit of sweat coming down his face from carrying all their practice weapons for today's activity.

"I know, you just look cute struggling a bit" Hyuna giggled

Jisung crossed his arm, looking much like his daughter Jisoo "Excuse me? I am most certainly not struggling" with an attitude of Jennie

Hyuna just grinned before pressing a soft kiss on his cheek, making him blush and their daughters scrunch their faces in disgust

"Ugh, mom! Will you please stop with this PDA?" Jennie complained

"...can we just train already?" Chaeyoung sighed before side-stepping, hand reaching out to a yelping Lisa who was actually trying to sneak up on her "What was that for?"

Lisa laughed and continued what she was supposed to do which is glomping at Chaeyoung's back

"Yah Lisa!"

Lisa ignored Chaeyoung's shout and giggled like a kid "Doesn't it remind you back in our days when mom and dad would always show PDA to us?"

Chaeyoung scrunched her face in disgust but a small fond smirk on her face

"Yeah...there was this one time we caught them in the bed too" She chuckled

"Make it multiple times!" Lisa chirped

Hyuna and Jisung let out a small reminiscing smile remembering Chittip and Marco; it warms their heart seeing Chaeyoung and Lisa fixing their former bond and they're sure that the deceased parents of the two girls will feel relief at seeing them close once again.

"Yah Lisa! Get off of Rosie!" Jennie frowned

"I think we should start," Jisoo said to her parents who finally nodded as they motioned the pouting Lisa to release Chaeyoung so they could start

"But I don't want to train in the bow and arrow" Lisa whined

Chaeyoung gently put Lisa down and said "You should though, you still haven't passed Sandara's test. You don't want to fail especially since you're her favorite"

Lisa sighed and grumbled "Fine..let's get this over with"

Hyuna motioned for the girls to get their own weapons and pointed out where they would be standing with a training dummy designated for each of them. Their position starting from the right is Jennie, Chaeyoung, Jisoo, and Lisa.

"Now, I would like to see your forms if it's perfect," Hyuna told them "If there are any issues, don't worry I'll help you correct them."

They all nodded and took their position while Hyuna assessed them with a critical eye.

"Jennie is great as usual...and surprisingly Chaeyoung as well" Hyuna smiled, maybe Mason's mastery of weapons transferred to Chaeyoung as well considering that they're family.

She looked at the other two and could see Jisoo having the basic form done only that...

"Honey, you stand with your feet parallel to the shooting line at shoulder width" Hyuna instructed and stood beside her oldest, showing her the correct footing.

Jisoo nodded and quickly adjusted her form and steadied for a bit to get used to it

"Nice job" Hyuna complimented and then looked at the final person

"You need a lot to fix Lisa, including your footing." Hyuna began positioning with her bow and arrow as she said "Keep your knees straight and relax so that you're able to move quickly when needed in battle. Though users of this weapon usually hide from long distances, it doesn't hurt having a lighter foot."

Lisa nodded in understanding and Hyuna continued "Keep your back straight as well. It's only natural for you to lean because it's easier to hold the bow but you won't be able to fully utilize drawing your arrow. Then, align your shoulders with your bow arm. Your shoulders are extremely important in this kind of weapon because it influences your draw length."

Lisa finally got the form right after a few adjustments by Hyuna

"There you go" Hyuna smiled "Now, go and try to shoot an arrow at the training dummy in front of you"

Lisa closed one eye and fired

Chaeyoung snorted

Jennie burst out laughing

Jisoo giggled

as Lisa's arrow went way off the mark.

Lisa pouted "This is going to be so embarrassing..."

Hyuna sighed while Jisung snickered at the youngest

"We have a lot of work to do then" Hyuna muttered but a small smile is on her face.

She can't wait for another great family bonding.

"Stop it yah!"

Lisa scowled as Jisoo kept shooting arrows at her

"Yah! I said stop it!"

Jisoo laughed "It's mom's fault for pairing us up for this!"

You see, Hyuna decided to make the Lisoo and Chaennie pair and have them shoot arrows at each other. It might help Lisa's situation since she seems to be the kind to learn with her body actually moving.

Not to mention, Jennie may have a challenge within Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung easily caught the arrow Jennie fired at her and backflipped once again to dodge one. As she started going down, she fired an arrow at Jennie which managed to nick her shoulder but thanks to Jennie's earth armor, it quickly fell off.

Jennie smirked and manifested her fire element to her arrow making its tip burn with embers of the fire. Her eyes flashed with her element and shot it quickly to Chaeyoung.

Chaeyoung was about to jump but then felt a heavy weight on her feet. Looking down, she saw Jennie's earth element trapping her so she put her left arm in front of her in defense and it shined silver.

Chaeyoung hissed, feeling the hot fire slowly damaging her metal element. She clenched her right hand and punched the earth trap on her feet making said ground rumble at the strength.

"Two can play at that game..." Chaeyoung whispered, her eyes flashing dark violet and soon, sparks started glistening around her.

Jennie inhaled sharply as Chaeyoung quickly went from one place to another, her eyes quickly following her but she clicked her tongue when Chaeyoung just dodged it as if she was air.

She hissed in irritation when she felt arrows laced with lightning hitting her.

"Your speed is always so annoying" Jennie rolled her eyes, feeling a bit of damage now by Chaeyoung's continuous barrage of arrows.

Chaeyoung just lightly smirked at the cat-eyed girl, deciding to surprise her with one move.

Jennie turned around, feeling a presence behind her, and quickly shot a fire arrow. Her eyes widened slightly seeing her arrow hitting nothing but air...

Then she felt a puff of air behind her and the tip of an arrow near her neck

"Got you"

Jennie huffed "This is unfair you know"

Jennie slightly turned her head and she saw Chaeyoung's slightly frizzled hair and her holding the arrow that's been pointing its target

Chaeyoung chuckled "It's bow and arrow right? It doesn't mean I have to use the bow to use the arrow"

"Is that so..."

Jennie swiftly turned, now fully facing the girl propositioning her right now. Chaeyoung's arm has to adjust and it's as if she's now wrapping an arm around Jennie's neck.

Their faces close, breaths mingling, and eyes connected

Chaeyoung silently gulped at the intense stare that Jennie currently has that she has to grip the arrow tightly to get control of herself.

"I think you're just finding an excuse to feel me closer" Jennie lightly smirked while speaking so huskily that Chaeyoung could slightly feel the arrow she was holding almost breaking at the intensity.

Jennie stretched up and rolled her neck as if there was no danger in her position right now.

"You know Rosie" Jennie opened one eye, both arms still up "You're too closed off..."

Jennie leaned closer and whispered seductively

"That..."

Eyes connected intensely to Chaeyoung's

"You..."

Arms started to wrap around Chaeyoung's neck

"Panic..."

Chaeyoung froze feeling a blazing tip now on her neck.

"Immediately"

She was too panicked at what Jennie was doing that she didn't even notice that Jennie was getting her arrow behind her back while talking to her.

She let her guard down...for the very few times that she did.

And Jennie was the reason

"Well, looks like a draw"

They didn't even hear what Hyuna said to them as Jennie continued smirking victoriously and Chaeyoung was just too stunned to process what just happen.

Two arrows, one laced with air and the other with water shot between the two of them. Chaennie quickly backed away from one another.

Well...at least they still have their instincts, Chaeyoung thought thankfully before looking at the source and seeing Lisoo practicing as if nothing happened.

And Lisa seems to be improving too.

...The things that envy does to a person.

The sun is setting slowly down the horizon and the grassland is littered with arrows that have been obviously been used with elements. Lightning marks, burns, slashes, and even damp areas can be seen.

"All right, before we go and have our bonfire dinner, I want to see 5 perfect bullseyes for today, especially you two" Hyuna eyed Lisoo who just nodded tiredly.

Jisoo didn't think that Hyuna would be brutally training them, it was as if the energy of the sun is giving her the boost she needs to train them relentlessly.

Yet the feeling of finally being able to train with her family...

The happiness is almost overflowing inside her if it wasn't for her slight displeasure of seeing Chaeyoung so close to her sister once again, especially since Jennie is getting her mastery in arrows while Chaeyoung is simply just good with weapons.

"First up Jisoo"

Jisoo nodded and took a deep breath, her hands shaking a bit from tiredness but she firmed herself, took on a proper stance, and shot

It was a perfect bullseye

and then another...

and another...

almost there...

and...

"I did it" Jisoo whispered, she looked back at her family and her heart warmed up seeing the proud and happy look from her parents, the begrudging (but still cute) respect of her sister, the silly grin from Lisa, and finally the small warm smile that Chaeyoung sends to her.

"Great job Jisoo!" Hyuna cheered

"That's my daughter out there" Jisung whispered, a small loving smile on his lips as he watched Hyuna hug her daughter tightly...

While he's stuck preparing their food

"Don't you dare use your higher fire element to cook the food faster honey"

Jisung shivered and just prevented himself to also give Jisoo his proud pat on the head.

"My turn," Lisa said confidently

After seeing the amazing and somewhat rough battle of arrows between Chaennie, Lisa got inspired to be at least decent in this sport.

Hyuna gave her the go signal after hugging a blushing Jisoo.

Lisa spread her feed apart, closed one eye, and started to imagine herself as Katniss from the Hunger Games.

She shot the first correctly, then the second and third...

Her arms buckling a bit now from the weight of the bow but Lisa held firm, flexing her arms muscle a bit making Chaeyoung raise an eyebrow

"Hmmm..."

Lisa shot the 4th arrow and let out a surprised laugh seeing her shot dug much deeper than the rest.

"That's some nice strength there Lisa, it would be devastating if someone was hit by that" Hyuna nodded in approval, well...as long as it was an enemy that she was hitting.

Somehow, Lisa looked more tired after that shot as she just nodded and prepared for her last arrow. A wave of tiredness and pain hit her just as she released her final arrow and it missed by an inch from the bullseye

"Damn it..." Lisa whispered and was about to lift the bow again until she wobbled from the continuous training.

She was about to fall but a hand grabbed her shoulders, steadying her

"You should stop, you did good enough. Better than when you started"

"Chae..." Lisa let out a tired smile and just nodded. Chaeyoung looked back at Hyuna who just smiled at them and gave Lisa an approving nod.

"You did great as always for today's training Lisa, you truly made your parents proud for always pushing yourself hard every single time. Just don't overdo it okay? Chaeyoung won't always be there to catch you"

"I'll always be there to catch Lisa," Chaeyoung thought, her mind going back to her promise as she clutch Lisa tightly.

Jennie felt her lip twitch before saying "I'll finish mine in two shots"

Hyuna seems surprised, and before she could say anything, Jennie grabbed two arrows and shot them quickly in which both of them struck the middle hard.

The others dropped their mouth in surprise except for Hyuna who could just shake her head, but eyes looking proud at Jennie.

"In a few more years, you would definitely surpass me, Jennie," Hyuna thought. She watched as Jennie grabbed three more arrows, took a few steps back, and took on a slightly different stance to accommodate the three arrows.

She shot and the other two went to Chaeyoung's target practice while the other one was on her own.

Jisoo whistled, clearly impressed at her sister's talent in just...everything!

"Show-off" Lisa scoffed which made Jennie chuckle and sent her a playful look.

"What do you think hubby?" Jennie asked Chaeyoung who was blinking her eyes, but it can be seen that she was clearly impressed

"I somehow felt you just have this kind of luck and skill...that's a dangerous combination you have Kim"

Jennie just chuckled and said "Well, it's up to you now. I'm getting hungry so please hurry up hubby"

Chaeyoung let go of Lisa who seems to regain some strength now while rolling her eyes "Stop with that cringe nickname"

The sun was now almost down and the moon is peeking over the family now. Chaeyoung shot the arrows efficiently to the point that Lisoo was already walking towards Jisung for some food along with Hyuna when she saw Chaeyoung shoot her 4th arrow perfectly.

"Shot that final arrow and let's have some dinner now Chaeyoung" Hyuna smiled "Your parents would be so proud of you" She whispered to herself before turning around and started walking away from the training ground and towards her husband and two daughters.

Jennie was stretching a bit while waiting for Chaeyoung to finish up

"What's up?"

Chaeyoung was frozen, her eyes narrowed as if she was concentrating hard. The grip on her bow and arrow tightened

"..."

Jennie frowned and walked closer to Chaeyoung and almost screamed in surprise when Chaeyong suddenly turned at least 45 degrees from her initial position and shot the arrow with lightning encased around it. The arrow was so fast, Jennie's eyes was almost unable to follow it.

"What the heck Rosie?! You scared the life out of me!"

Jennie's shout made the whole family quickly come to them

"What's wrong?!" Jisoo immediately asked

"Rosie just...suddenly shot something there" Jennie pointed out at a farther part of the forest

Jisung narrowed his eyes "Is it an enemy Chaeyoung?"

Chaeyoung remained silent, eyes looking at the shadows behind the trees before finally speaking

"...it's nothing, it's just animal. I apologize for startling you all"

The whole family looked and just in time saw a rabbit hop out of the bushes and continued with its life.

"Don't scare us like that" Jennie sighed

"You really should calm down Chae, no one will dare to attack us with mom and dad with us," Lisa said, trying to diffuse the tension especially since Hyuna is already narrowing her eyes

"...yeah you're right" Chaeyoung shook her head and started walking towards the food. She looked back at them and said

"Well? Are we going to eat or not?"

"You haven't shot your last arrow yet" Jennie started to grin mischievously

Chaeyoung rolled her eyes, grabbed one arrow, and shot it into the space between Jennie and her mom. She smirked at their startled reaction and the perfect bullseye

"Now let's eat"

The whole family looked at each other and laughed at one another

Park Chaeyoung and her stomach

A lone figure grabbed her bleeding arm and was running as fast as possible to an open area.

"..."

The figure gritted her teeth and pushed her water element to stop the blood from seeping too much.

She didn't want to leave a trail of blood after all.

"You're getting better..." She muttered, eyes looking on the family of five strong elzards, particularly at the girl who shot the arrow through her arm.

"Park Chaeyoung...you'll realize that the family you have...is nothing but backstabbers and you'll know soon."

I'm alive!!!! The 1st term of school is finally ending by next week and hopefully, I'll be able to return for more updates before the year ends, especially since the holidays are coming up.
