Chaeyoung and Lisa stared at each other before looking away with blushes on their faces

 

“Do you still feel something, Chae?”

 

Chaeyoung laughed awkwardly and tried not to show Lisa the sweats forming in her palms due to nervousness and a bit of awkwardness

 

“N-No” Chaeyoung coughed before taking a deep breath

 

“Let’s go out Lisa”

 

“I’m a dark elzard dear, an old one in fact” She chuckled before looking at the two young girls “I’m sure what I’m going to say will happen in the future…or maybe you want to see something from the past?”

 

“You two…are soulmates”

 

“I am so going to beat you in this” Lisa smirked, a hand already forming a sphere of water. Chaeyoung laughed and a glint of competitiveness lit up in her almond eyes, a spark of lightning suddenly appearing.

 

“You better prepare to lose the bet then”

 

Chaeyoung stood in front of the badly damaged Lisa, eyes glaring at the five figures in front of them. They are outnumbered and a dark growl escaped Chaeyoung

 

“You are going to regret hurting her”

 

“CHAEYOUNG NO!”

 

A screech filled with agony was heard all over and then…

“Wow”

Jennie’s eyes are wide in amazement and giddiness as she spots various rides at the amusement part where Chaeyoung bought her…

The same amusement park where they went before when they were kids

“This place is where…where I began crushing on Chaeyoung”

They were dressed in casual clothes and it can be seen that this amusement park is one of the landmarks in their city as many families, friends, and even loved ones are here to enjoy a free day for all.

After all, it is a weekend

“It feels amazing to be back here after so many years huh,” Chaeyoung said wistfully while holding Jennie’s waist

Jennie snapped her head back to Chaeyoung, eyes tearing up a bit “You…” Jennie gulped “You remember this place after all these years? Even though we only went here once?”

Chaeyoung looked back at Jennie and smiled softly “Of course, I remember…” Her eyes went to the view of the amusement park

“It’s one of my most memorable memories with you…”

“An amusement park! You lead us to an amusement park!”

Jennie and Lisa shouted excitedly as they both began jumping up and down in excitement

“Wah!! Did you see that unnie?! There’s a flying car!” Chaeyoung grabbed Jisoo’s shirt, tugging it consistently as she pointed at the flying cars excitedly

Jisoo laughed “Yes Chaeyoungie I see it” She smiled warmly at the 6-year-old girl before it faded slightly when Jennie grabbed Chaeyoung’s hand and pulled her away

“Come on Rosie let’s see those cars! I want to ride one!”

Jisung chuckled and pat Jennie’s head “You need to rent one. Do you want to ride princess?”

“I want to daddy! Please let me ride with Rosie” Jennie pouted while Chaeyoung looked excited at the prospect of riding a flying car

“But I want to ride with Chaeyoung” Lisa frowned while Chittip soothed her

“Oh, let them ride together Lisa, besides, you and Chaeyoung are always together back home”

‘But Jennie-unnie and sometime Jisoo-unnie hogs her when we’re at their house…’ Lisa thought before grumbling

“Don’t worry Lisa-yah” Chaeyoung cheered her up with a bright smile “I’ll ride other rides with you!”

That immediately cheered Lisa up and the Manoban parents are glad that they won’t experience a tantrum

“Let’s enjoy this day then!” Hyuna cheered and carried Jisoo on her back who was hiding her face from embarrassment

“Mom, you don’t have to carry me…”

“But I love babying you” Hyuna cooed

“Are you sure you kids can handle yourself?” Jisung asked Jennie as the workers started to strap Jennie and Chaeyoung into their flying car…

Kiddie version everyone

Jisung could see Chaeyoung about to reply with an enthusiastic ‘Yes’ but Jennie’s daredevil smile was all he could see before they dashed off at amazing speed around the park.

“That kid of yours is feisty Jisung” Marco laughed seeing Jisung’s sigh of exasperation

“She sure is…good thing Jisoo is a mild one” Hyuna giggled “Jisoo inherited her character from me”

“Yah! What are you saying?!” Jisung pouted to his wife while Chittip gagged at the sight

“Jesus Jisung even after all these years you’re still acting like a teenager”

“Don’t act like Marco doesn’t show you some loving”

Marco covered a confused Lisa’s ears

“Not in front of the kids’ bro”

“Um, unnie? Do you know where we’re going?” Chaeyoung asked as she started seeing sites that were not there when they entered the place

Jennie finally stopped giggling and slowed down, looking around and realizing that both of them were separated from the others.

“Unnie the car!”

Chaeyoung’s shriek made Jennie flinch and she slowly loses control of the car as they began to skid to the side.

Some people looked alarmed and one even opened the kiddie flying car only to see Chaeyoung hugging Jennie tightly with closed eyes.

“Are you two okay?”

Chaeyoung opened her eyes slowly and her heart started to beat frantically in panic seeing so many people closing on them.

Jennie felt Chaeyoung’s breath quickening so she quickly let go of the comfort (the one that makes her never want to get out but a stupid stranger decided to interrupt it). She glared as menacingly as a little kid can, but can only hear female adults cooing at her.

Jennie clasped Chaeyoung’s hand firmly and started running quickly out of there, as quick as their little feet can run.

Jennie finally noticed a small space in between two tents and decided to go there

“Are you okay Rosie?”

Chaeyoung seems a bit shaken but still nodded “H-how about you unnie?”

“Don’t worry about me” Jennie said firmly but her lips were quivering; what if her parents would never find her and Rosie? Will they get lost forever this way?

The world is too big for two kids like them

“Jennie-unnie…”

Jennie snapped out from her thoughts and soon felt a warm hug enveloping her, the scent of roses and strawberries immediately calmed her down. She hugged back just as tightly and she could feel her own heart beating erratically.

‘Why am I feeling this way?’ kid Jennie thought confusingly until Chaeyoung’s honey voice spoke out

“We’ll make it through this together, okay?” Chaeyoung let go of the hug to touch Jennie’s forehead with her own and smiled warmly at her which did its job to warm up the fear in Jennie’s beating heart

“Yeah…together okay we can do this”

Hand-in-hand, they both set out to get back to their family though Jennie can’t help but admire Chaeyoung’s amazement at all the rides.

Chaeyoung looked back at her unnie and blushed at her stare “Yah stop staring at me” She said shyly

Jennie giggled “You’re too cute Rosie” She leaned in and gave Chaeyoung her very own first kiss on the cheek

Chaeyoung stuttered and blushed even more, but seeing Jennie laugh whole-heartedly at her reaction also made her giggle and grin happily.

Despite being lost, this has become one of their memorable moments.

“We were so small back then” Jennie chuckled and looked at the sea of people “Now, it feels like we’re part of those people; the ones who tower over children”

Chaeyoung laughed "That's true." She said wistfully before nudging her head in the direction of the wild rollercoaster

"Want to start with a bang?"

Jennie gulped at the motion-sickness contraption that Chaeyoung pointed out but she was so not going to back away from this.

"You're on!"

Earlier in the morning

Lisa yawned loudly, rubbing her eyes sleepily as she and Jisoo is now walking toward a potion market

"If I don't have this partnership with Chae, I would have not to woke up so early in the morning."

Remembering the two clingy girls is enough for Lisa to wake up early just to get rid of the uncomfortable and irritating feeling inside of her.

"Are we there yet?" Lisa asked

"Almost," Jisoo answered her bluntly

Lisa sighed, her unnie has been getting cold lately and she doesn't like it when Jisoo, the one who is usually the funnier between her and Chaeyoung, is being so serious.

Not to mention the fact that Jisoo has been regretting that the four of them are repairing their bond

That gave Lisa a pinch of hurt "Would Jisoo-unnie be selfish and have Chaeyoung all by herself? If that is what happened...then Chaeyoung would have not agreed to this partnership, I think?"

"We're here"

Jisoo cut off Lisa's morning thoughts and looked up seeing a standard potion market

"So, there's a potion here for a dark element spell?"

Jisoo nodded and opened the door as she began to talk

"There are many options available in the market, from the basic ones like a healing potion up to the most complicated ones"

"Like?"

Jisoo shrugged "Mostly seals or just a stronger version of the basic potions as they are made up of rarer ingredients but with very much a high quality of use"

"Welcome! Oh, Jisoo it's been a long time, and..."

A lady greeted them and was surprised to see Lisa, one of the daughters of the council heads, and one of Chaesoo's bullies since they were young.

"Lisa? I-I mean Ms. Lisa, how surprisingly nice to meet you"

Jisoo finally gave a smile for the day and greeted the lady

"Somi! It has been a long time indeed" Jisoo hugged the girl while Lisa stood there awkwardly

Somi quickly hugged back and whispered to Jisoo's ear

"I didn't know you patched things up with them..."

"Not totally but..." Jisoo hesitated "We're getting there."

Somi noticed the slightly hard tone in Jisoo's voice and cleared as they let go of each other

"Anyways, how can I help you two"

Lisa quickly answered (ey lead rapper ya'll) "a potion that has a dark element kind of spell in it. Do you have one?"

Somi raised an eyebrow at the unexpected request and looked at Jisoo intently

"I see...what do you need it for?"

Jisoo sighed and told Somi the summary of what happened over the past days

"Chaeyoung? Like Park Chaeyoung is under a love potion"

Lisa noticed Somi's shocked expression and could conclude that she is also acquainted with Chaeyoung

Somi looks confused "How did she not..." Somi shook her head and decided to be professional, especially since Lisa has been observing her as if she holds a secret about the love-affected girl

"Anyways, a Dark Elemental Potion is what you need. Unfortunately, I have to tinker with it for a bit. It's hard making an Elemental Potion made up of one of the rarest elements in the world, so I don't spend much time on making one regularly."

"How long would it take then?" Jisoo asked

"A few hours would be enough"

Lisa inwardly groaned at the time "Is there a way to make it faster?"

Somi sighed "If we have a dark elzard then yes it would be faster. Sadly, we don't have one, so I have to do this the hard way."

Lisa nodded defeatedly and decided to eat breakfast outside; she looked at Jisoo and decided to use this opportunity to maybe patchh some things between them.

"Want to come with me Jisoo-unnie? We haven't had breakfast yet so we should get one if we want to kill some time"

Jisoo looked deep in thought and nodded "Okay fine," She looked at Somi who was also staring at Jisoo intently, with a hint of amusement in her eyes "We'll see you later Somi"

"Sure unnie, I'll see you later"

Somi smiled and waved bye at them as they exit the shop

"So...Chaeyoung-unnie is still oblivious." Somi giggled "Poor Jisoo-unnie...and to her sister too."

Somi's hand started glowing and stretched her neck

"Better get started before Jisoo-unnie chews me out"

"So, who is she?" Lisa decided to break the awkward atmosphere between them as Jisoo seems to be not in the mood since Chaeyoung is under the love potion of her very own sister.

The sister who very well has feelings for the affected girl

"She's Somi, has a clear talent in potion-making since she was young and continued managing the shop her parents opened up since then. Her parents taught her and even gave me some tips on creating different potions." Jisoo shared while sipping from her hot chocolate

"Her parents? Where are they then?"

Jisoo closed her eyes "They...died"

"Oh..."

Lisa looked down, a bit of shame on her face for asking a sensitive question

"We...me and Chaeyoung tried to take her in but at that time, we don't have a good relationship with my parents." Jisoo continued seeing Lisa not wanting to talk anymore "Somi herself has just become a legal adult at that time and declined our offer to take care of her needs. Hence she continued managing the shop and became quite a well-known potion shop in this area, and possibly the whole country."

Lisa nodded slowly and in her peripheral vision, saw two familiar figures walking rather close together and dressed in casual clothes.

"Is that..." Lisa narrowed her eyes

Jisoo looked confused and looked behind her, eyes narrowing seeing them

"Chaeyoung..." Jisoo whispered longingly, eyes flashing hurt seeing Chaeyoung being so affectionate to her sister

Lisa gritted her teeth when she saw Jennie smirking and laughing out loud with Chaeyoung who probably said something that made her laugh "They're going...where?"

The two stood up and inevitably knew what they were going to do next

"I'll get the potion"

"I'll follow them"

Jisoo and Lisa said respectively, that with Jisoo's ability of her air element, she can easily find them in the skies so she'll be the one to get the potion. Jisoo just hoped Lisa has enough stealth for the two not to notice her

"Today...this end"

"Step up everyone! For this is a price to remember in all ages!"

Chaeyoung pat Jennie's back as she was feeling dizzy from all the rides they have been to. She chuckled inwardly watching Jennie turn a bit green after every extreme ride

"I think I'm feeling sick"

Jennie put her head in Chaeyoung's neck as the rollercoaster started going up slowly. The rollercoaster doesn't have any straps for them to keep in the seat as there is a seal that will keep them there anyway along with the guidance of the wind. Because the ride is being controlled by several air elzards, the rollercoaster’s pattern is random so no one is going to know how high, low, or even how many loops they will experience in the ride.

"You can do this, I got you"

Chaeyoung squeezed Jennie's hand

'If I didn't have feelings for you, Rosie, I would have put this contraption on fire'

With that thought, the ride began and Jennie's soul left her body

 

"Are you sure this is safe?" Jennie looked down seeing small ants which are people as they are now almost at the clouds with how high they are

"Well...I think sOOOO!"

Chaeyoung and Jennie screamed their lungs out as the ride suddenly began pulling them down at extreme speed and Jennie out for a moment

 

"I'm dead"

"Stop it, you're being dramatic" Chaeyoung looked at Jennie in amusement "How about you pick a ride this time?"

That got Jennie going and she glared at Chaeyoung with the intent of revenge

"Let's go bump some cars then"

Jennie suddenly felt something and looked around, eyes a bit confused

"Something wrong wifey?"

"Nothing...I just suddenly felt like someone was watching us" Jennie shook her head and hauled Chaeyoung towards the bumper cars

Needless to say, Jennie didn't get her revenge as the bumper cars absorb their element as it will become a part of it. With Chaeyoung being a lightning elzard, Jennie had a hard time hitting the quick car Chaeyoung has and she even got shocked when she finally bumped into Chaeyoung. Her fire element only serves as a strong battery and durable (because of her earth element) front so that when she hits Chaeyoung, the younger girl will get dizzy upon impact.

It was satisfying for a moment seeing Chaeyoung turn a bit green on the impact but it was just for a split second before she was shocked by lightning, the laugh from Chaeyoung making her laugh as well

 

"A price to remember huh..." Chaeyoung whispered and Jennie is now coming back to her senses

"I wonder what is it..." Chaeyoung said and saw a mystery box beside the old man with already a load of people lining up to know and get this mystery price.

"If I remember correctly, this must be the old man who launches a game every year for an amazing price in return," Jennie told Chaeyoung "Last year, it was a sealing scroll that not even mom and dad have. It was the kind of sealing where you can just put your thought into what kind of seal you want and there you have it. I've heard it cannot be undone too."

"Who won that then?"

Jennie shrugged "Nobody knows, the woman was clothed in all black and has a hood. She didn't feel threatening at that time so some just assumed she's an elzard warrior or a traveler."

"The game is different every year?"

"Yes, I wonder what game is it today...it won't be much of a hassle to try it out don't you think?" Jennie mused

They both looked at the game and Jennie's eyes sparkled seeing some kind of gun and floating little circles

"It's...an accuracy game" Chaeyoung looked at the pumped-up Jennie "Do you want to try it out?"

Jennie glanced at Chaeyoung and smirked "And here I thought you're going to be all prince charming and win me one"

Chaeyoung bought her hands up in surrender "Well if my wifey wasn't one of the best elzard in the academy I would have" She smiled charmingly at Jennie and winked "But my wifey is strong, and has a heck of an accuracy. I bet you'll ace this" Chaeyoung said cockily

Jennie grinned feeling encouraged seeing Chaeyoung's trust in her powers

"Watch and learn then, maybe you'll switch weapons after seeing me"

Chaeyoung snorted and just grinned at her

"Excuse me, I would like to try it"

Jennie approached the old man sponsoring and hosting the game with a mystery box beside him. So far, no person has managed to ace the whole floating circles

"Ah, of course, one trial per person and it's free of charge!" The old man smiled at Jennie and handed her the gun, which is a rifle.

Jennie hummed, measuring the weight of the gun in her hand before nodding in satisfaction

"Good thing I took those sword lessons...I think is a tad bit heavier than my bow but still doable"

"You need to hit those 9 floating marks on the circles without reloading the gun; that is the challenge of this year's game. The gun approximately just has 9 bullets so do your best"

The circles were floating around Jennie so she has to trust her instincts for this as well as the timing.

Jennie took on a proper stance of holding a gun which made Chaeyoung's eyebrow rose in surprise

"So...she knows how to use a gun too"

Though it's just a proper stance, Jennie seems to have adequate knowledge on holding and maintaining her position. She shot 1 bullet and one of the bigger circles popped.

The crowd cheered and began spreading as they noticed Jennie Kim, one of the daughters of the council heads.

 

"That's Jennie Kim, right? The daughter of Kim Jisung and Hyuna?"

 

"That's her alright...I wonder why she's here though?"

 

"Could she be on a date?"

 

"I hope not, I would like to ask her out after this"

 

Chaeyoung growled and spoke loudly with a dark aura surrounding her

 

"Back off, she's taken"

 

Those who were whispering looked at her and shivered in fright, deciding to shut their mouths instead of picking a fight. Another 3 consecutive pops happened and they all look back and watch Jennie easily finish off the targets leaving only five more

 

"You're quite good young lad" The old man mused

 

Jennie smirked and shot again, this time, hitting one of the smallest targets of them all. Chaeyoung whistled and smirked in pride.

 

One more shot and pop, leaving only three more. Jennie frowned at the sudden quickness of one of the smallest targets and decided to risk it.

 

A swooshing sound was heard and the crowd "oooh" seeing that Jennie finally missed leaving her with only two shots. Jennie narrowed her eyes and shot it once again but the quickness of that target is so quick that it made her shot hit another target which thankfully made it pop.

 

Chaeyoung raised her eyebrow at that one "Did she calculate that? If she did then wow..." Chaeyoung was a bit sure that Physics had to do with this but she wasn't aware of that subject anymore but looks like Jennie used it to her advantage...

 

With one bullet left and two targets with one moving so quickly, Jennie took her time to analyze the movement of the smaller target. Her narrowed eyes and calculating mind are doing their mysterious work as Chaeyoung observed her so-called girlfriend

 

BAM!

 

Chaeyoung smirked at the same time the crowd cheered in awe as Jennie Kim somehow managed to pop those two targets with just a single shot! Heck even the old man was impressed by her skill

 

"Impressive" The old man grinned and a glint in his eyes appeared as well "I never would have thought you would manage to do that; you got an impressive eye milady"

 

Jennie just smirked and twirled the gun with her hand "I'll admit though, those were some good training exercises. I would be using that for my training. Thank you" She bowed as the old man grabbed the box and gave it to Jennie,

 

All looked on anxiously at what was inside the box while Chaeyoung moved forward, putting an arm around Jennie's shoulder "Well, I told you" Chaeyoung winked "You could do it on your own very well"

Jennie just smiled at the younger girl and kissed her on the cheek in response. Her eyes went back to the mysterious box and opened it, what she saw made her eyes widen and her heartbeat in excitement

 

"So cute!!"

 

"Arf! Arf!"

 

It was an elemental beast; a brown-furred dog with an adorable face and tongue lolling out in excitement upon seeing his owner

 

"Arf!"

 

The brown dog launched at Jennie and began her face as if he approved of who his master is

 

"A-An elemental beast" Chaeyoung's eyes widened and eyes of envy and awe surrounded them

 

Well, that's Jennie Kim alright, the queen of luck

Jisoo began looking down while she was high in the sky, trying to spot the maknae with her vision and senses. Soon, she saw the younger girl blending with the crowd that was surrounding Chaeyoung and Jennie.

"What's happening?" Jisoo muttered and began descending to a seclusive spot so that no one will notice her. She took a deep breath to gather some energy and started to walk towards the crowd which was now going crazy

 

"Wah! An elemental beast!"

 

"Gah! I'm so jealous!"

 

"Leave it to the daughter of the council head to win that prize"

 

"Amazing! I want to see!"

 

The crown started squishing each other just to take a glimpse of an elemental beast in which Jisoo had a hard time finding Lisa with people pushing her around. A hand quickly grabbed her shoulder and took Jisoo away from the crowd

"There you are!" Lisa sighed in relief "Good thing I got you before you were swallowed up by the crowd"

"So...Jennie got one too huh" Jisoo whispered, the inferiority slowly getting stronger. First, the elements when they were young, the way how her sister just excels at everything, Chaeyoung, and now an elemental beast too.

 

Jisoo clenched her teeth in agitation

 

Why was her sister gets everything she wants?

 

Is it because she's the youngest?

 

Just what does Jisoo need to do to just get what she wants in life for once?

 

"Unnie, you need to chill," Lisa said nervously seeing Jisoo cracking the black potion she was holding. Jisoo just glared at Lisa, grabbing her hand and suddenly floating above

"Wah unnie! What the heck!" Lisa exclaimed in fright at suddenly not being on the ground (manifesting Blackpink comeback wink wink)

Without warning, Jisoo aimed at Chaeyoung's smiling face and threw the elemental potion; Jisoo knew that this potion has enough firepower of a strong attack that knock an unaware person when hit.

With Chaeyoung and Jennie not knowing they're here, it would be a sure hit in just a few seconds.

"Please Chaeyoungie..." Jisoo thought desperately, missing the warm smiles of the girl that is reserved for only her

"Please come back to me!"

Lisa watched in anticipation but then she sensed something at the same time Chaeyoung raised her head in alert

"Wha..."

 

"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEECHHHH"

 

Lisa turned her body weight and made herself as heavy as possible so she could bring Jisoo down and barely dodge a dark bullet

 

At the same time,

 

Chaeyoung grabbed Jennie's waist and sprinted away when dark bullets began attacking the crowd who held their ears and heads in pain once shot by those dark bullets

"What...?" Jensoo whispered to each other while Chaelisa growled when a huge form of a dark blob monster appeared at the center where Chaeyoung and Jennie once were...

 

Just in time for the potion to hit it

 

In no time, despite being in the late afternoon, the monster grew bigger and if possible, even darker

 

Dark red glowing eyes and some kind of red line (mouth?) smirked and roared loudly

"ROOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRR"

It was a scrutinizing scream that made even the four girls wince and hold their ears

"A shadow monster" Chaeyoung whispered, "and was that...a potion?"

"We need to defeat it" Jennie shook her head to concentrate on the situation at hand, she looked at her elemental beast which was quite similar to the brown dog plushie in her room

"Kuma...I'll name you Kuma" Jennie smiled softly when Kuma barked at her happily as if accepting the name. "What can you do Kuma?"

Not before long, Kuma suddenly rushed at the shadow monster

"Wait Kuma!"

Jennie didn't have a chance to grab her quite energetic elemental beast and watch in surprise as Kuma's eyes started to glow green and vines sprouted on the ground to trap the shadow monster.

"Good one you got there" Chaeyoung smirked and once again before Jennie could stop her, Chaeyoung rushed and punched the shadow monster strongly with lightning encasing her fist

Jennie sighed "Honestly these two..." Though she was smiling as she said it so exasperatedly. Jennie stomped hard and soon the earth was rising with the shadow monster on it; the vines Kuma sprouted extended meaning that Kuma has quite the supporting element, which is perfect for Jennie's next move

"Burn into ashes" Jennie whispered coldly upon seeing the people around her writhing in pain from the bullets, though her cat eyes picked up someone familiar healing the people so she'll be focusing on the task on hand right now.

"Fire Strike!"

The vines served as a path for Jennie's unquestionable heat and soon the shadow monster was writhing and screeching in pain. Chaeyoung jumped away and her eyes widened a bit when a fast bullet went past her

"Jennie watch out!"

A wall of water was instantly in front of Jennie who was surprised upon seeing it; she was already preparing a counter defense but then she looked to her left and saw Lisa who was glowing blue.

Jennie nodded slowly in thanks for her while Lisa just sighed and gave her a small smile.

Since the vines were now gone, the shadow monster growled and rushed towards Jennie who jumped away as the shadow monster slashed the water wall

Chaeyoung grinned "Bad move" Then her eyes turned serious, feet sparking in electricity and fists turning iron; Chaeyoung charged towards the shadow monster who quickly faced her and began firing bullets.

Chaeyoung braced herself using her metal element and could only smirk at the minimal damage she was feeling. Soon, she was in front of the monster and punched it making it skid towards Jennie who was smirking

Chaeyoung watched Jennie's hand turning to lava and grabbed the shadow monster which immediately started to try and get away from Jennie but she took it even further by trapping the monster with her earth element.

Jisoo watched the two with her heart clenching a bit; their teamwork is already improving by this much...

 

It's as if Jennie was the one who has been with Chaeyoung instead of her!

 

Jisoo pursued her lips "Did Chaeyoung already tell Jennie...everything?"

 

Lisa walked toward the two of them "You guys okay?"

Chaennie looked at each other and then at Lisa, though Jennie stopped her lava attack sensing that the shadow monster suddenly stilled 

"Yeah...we're okay" Chaeyoung replied

"What are you two doing here?" Jennie raised an eyebrow

Lisa looked at the shadow monster and started glaring at it; it's the reason why Chaeyoung had to move out of the way of the potion. 

 

Suddenly...

 

Chaeyoung stilled for a second then looked at the shadow monster in alarm

 

"Lisa get out of here!"

 

Chaeyoung can only struck Lisa with a metal ball as she quickly rushed toward Jennie as she is her priority

 

"Rosie what's happenin-"

 

Jennie's eyes widened when Chaeyoung pushed her strongly at the same time a loud explosion occurred

 

BOOM!

 

"ROSIE!" Jennie yelled in fear, quickly running towards the source of the explosion

 

Jisoo looked stunned at what just suddenly happened as she stopped healing other people "Chaeyoungie..." Jisoo whispered in fear before quickly using the wind tinged with her light element to get rid of the dark smoke

 

"Chaeyoung!"

 

Lisa winced, holding her stomach in pain from Chaeyoung's sudden attack "Chae..." Lisa grunted, willing her body to run towards Chaeyoung

 

Jisoo was the first to reach Chaeyoung who was barely conscious from the explosion "Chaeyoungie...come on stay awake" Jisoo bit her lip, eyes furrowed in concentration and soon, a white aura surround almost 1/4 of Chaeyoung and Jisoo

Jennie stopped running for a while to watch in amazement at how her sister's light element is showing so strongly, the same could be said with Lisa as she feels the pain on her stomach disappearing from Jisoo's scattering light element

"Jichu..."

Jisoo's eyes widened a bit hearing the nickname "Chaeyoungie?" Her lips trembled; she missed hearing that from Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung's eyes swirled with emotions before she finally succumbed to unconsciousness

"Rosie!"

Jennie finally snapped out of her stupor and knelt before looking at her sister with desperate eyes "Is she okay?! Is she?!"

Jisoo stopped her element and looked at Chaeyoung "I...Yes, she's okay. We need to get her home." Jisoo looked at Lisa and said, "Go on without me, I'll heal up the rest of the people here while it's still not night."

The sun was already setting so Lisa knows Jisoo needs to quickly finish helping the others

"Got it unnie"

Jennie decided to grab Chaeyoung in piggyback style and said to Lisa "Come on, let's go home"

Lisa looked at Jennie weirdly "She's...actually following what Jisoo-unnie said?"

The three of them felt awkward with each other until Jennie sighed and mumbled

"Thank you...for helping me even if I..." Jennie clenched her fists "even if I have been selfish" She looked at Jisoo directly

"I wouldn't have known what to do without you healing her...so thank you"

Jisoo closed her eyes, the anger she felt towards her younger sister immediately lifting just by hearing Jennie's sincere tone

"Chaeyoung was right...I do have a bigger heart"

Jisoo just let out a small smile and turned around to finish her work

"I'll be home soon"

Jenlisa nodded and together with Chaeyoung, they began walking back home

"You..."

A man croaked out which caught Jisoo's attention as she immediately went up to him and asked

"Are you still feeling dizzy? Is there something else you're feeling?"

The man just held his head and shook it "No...I'm feeling fine."

Jisoo let out a sigh of relief and smiled "That's good then"

"You...you're the eldest of the council head, aren't you?" The man said "I knew that the council head has 2 daughters and adopted 2 more...but I have never seen you around until now"

"Oh..." Jisoo said with a hint of awkwardness but maintained her smile "It's a long story but yes, I am the eldest"

The man smiled gratefully "Your family is always ready to help us..." The man stands up, albeit a bit weakly but still stood his ground and bowed in gratitude

"Thank you so much...I won't ever forget this kindness you offered to us Ms...?" The man looked at Jisoo questioningly

Jisoo can feel her heart warm seeing the people around her, even the man's children from the way they flock to him, smile gratefully at her, and even bow. At this moment, Jisoo knows that Bom was right at being more open as she smiled kindly and answered

"Kim Jisoo, a soon-to-be elzard doctor"

Lisa watched Jennie lay Chaeyoung down on Chaeyoung's own bed, which surprises her; she thought the cat-eyed girl would put her girlfriend in her room.

Jennie sighed in concern, and swiftly took a look at Chaesoo's room

"This is my first time coming to their room..."

Jennie's eyes caught on something at top of Jisoo's drawer next to her bed, she stood up and walked towards it.

"This..."

Jennie couldn't help but tremble at seeing what was on Jisoo's drawer, her hand slowly grabbing it

 

She gulped at the sudden onslaught of feelings hitting her, she stopped breathing as soon as she saw it closer...

 

Seeing the picture of her family, with her and Jisoo's kid faces' smiling so widely and the way she clung to Jisoo so closely pinches something in her heart.

 

"Rosie and Lisa weren't adopted yet at this time...this has been so long"

 

Her fingers hovered above her and Jisoo's happy faces

 

"Why...?"

 

"Arf!"

 

Startled, Jennie felt a soft on her cheek and that's when she noticed a stray of a lone tear was flowing on her cheek. Jennie smiled gently at her elemental beast and whispered

"You can rest now Kuma...you did well today."

Kuma just barked happily before yawning and disappearing, going back to his dimension.

 

"Jennie-unnie..."

 

Jennie took a deep breath and controlled her facial expression after making sure there were no more tears before facing Lisa

 

"I'm sorry"

 

Lisa stopped walking toward her when Jennie suddenly apologized, the older girl looking down as she continued to speak

 

"I know I was being selfish for hogging Rosie and taking advantage of the love potion" Jennie's voice was filled with shame and guilt "I love her, I do, but I know it's not right for this to continue, so..."

Jennie looked up and told Lisa with determination

"I'll help you and my sister find a cure, and then" Jennie's determined eyes softened when she looked at Chaeyoung "I'll show her how much I love her...The right way"

Lisa was speechless and could only let out a forced smile, her feelings being so confused right now "I’m glad you're seeing things our way now" Lisa said before looking back at the door, just in time to see Jisoo entering the room.

"...."

The two sisters stared at each other for a good minute before Jisoo finally made a move by walking towards Chaeyoung's bed where the person who has been with her for a decade lay down, breathing heavily.

Jisoo soundlessly brushed her finger on Chaeyoung's cheek and could almost tear upon how much she misses the younger girl. She grabbed Chaeyoung's hand and started transferring a small amount of light energy to somehow make the younger girl feel more comfortable.

"Unnie, I think that's enough," Lisa said "You already healed quite a lot of people, you should rest up"

They didn't know whether Jisoo heard Lisa but after a moment, Jisoo did stop transferring light energy to Chaeyoung after noting the much more relaxed breathing of the unconscious girl.

"I've heard what you said" Jisoo spoke out loud, referring to Jennie. Jennie looked away, not wanting to hear anything else from her sister.

"I'm glad you're feeling bad now," Jisoo closed her eyes "Hell I even told Lisa I would have made Chaeyoung drink my love potion if I were to turn back time"

Jennie snapped her attention back to her sister, eyes widening in realization

"W-Wait...does that mean Jisoo has...!"

Jisoo started walking towards the room's bathroom to wash up after today's event "...yes, my dear sister, you and I are quite similar" Jisoo shot an intense look, as if telling her to back away "But just like you...I'm going to do it the right way."

Jenlisa watched Jisoo lock the bathroom and started washing up; Jennie could only sit on the floor at the sinking realization...

 

All this time she just thought Jisoo doesn't want anyone leaving her, but to know she also has these intense feelings towards Rosie...

 

Jennie slapped her forehead at her stupidity

 

Lisa bit her lip; an unknown competition is now brewing and she was in the middle of it.

 

What should she do?

 

A groan was then heard and the two girls run away from their ongoing thoughts to express their relief at seeing Chaeyoung's eyelid flutter open

 

"Chae!"

 

"Rosie!"

 

Chaeyoung put up a hand, closing her eyes immediately "Shut up please, I'm having a major headache right now" Chaeyoung quietly said while cringing in pain, putting a hand on her head.

The two girls quickly quieted down, then feeling a flow of elzard energy as they looked around in confusion.

"What was...that?" Jennie whispered while Lisa watched with furrowed eyebrows at Chaeyoung who took a deep breath and exhaled, the pain on her face slowly disappearing.

Chaeyoung looked at the room and then at the two girls once again

"What are you two doing here?" She narrowed her eyes before looking directly at Lisa "Are you finding some blackmail s again?"

"What no!" Lisa pouted "And here I am worried about you!"

Jennie just drops in shock, hearing the hostile tone of her Rosie directed at her this time

"Rosie?"

Chaeyoung then looked at Jennie and raised an eyebrow

"What?"

Jennie started speaking once more

"...Hubby?"

Chaeyoung seems surprised at that nickname and a small blush colored her cheeks

"W-what?! What the heck are you saying?"

Lisa finally understood what was going on and quickly went closer to Chaeyoung's space

"What?! You're cured?!" Lisa said, eyes now glowing in happiness especially when Chaeyoung sent them an irritated look

"What the do you mean by cured?" Chaeyoung barked out, pushing Lisa's face away after feeling overwhelmed at her proximity.

"Rosie..." Jennie felt strangely relieved seeing Chaeyoung kind of back to normal "You're back" She smiled albeit there's a small part inside of her going to miss her girlfriend.

At least the memories would probably stay within her for a long time

"Chae...you drank a love potion a week ago" Lisa started retelling Chaeyoung everything that happened from her point of view. From Joy going after her and trapping her in a wall of fire, to pushing Jennie away from the self-destructing shadow monster.

 

"WHAT?!"

 

Chaeyoung shrieked then looked at Jennie with wide eyes before scowling, though a red blush is on her cheeks "I don't believe you" She said in denial "There's just no way that happened!"

"It's true though" Jennie crossed her arms "You stole my first kiss and we were girlfriends for a week. The whole school was eating it up"

Chaeyoung just grabbed her head to try and remember, scrunching in slight pain when nothing came out of her memories

"Look, I don't care if it's true or not" Chaeyoung sighed in defeat before glaring defiantly "But I don't remember any of it, so can you two please get out of our room before my head explodes?"

Jennie inwardly slumped for Chaeyoung not remembering everything they went through...

But at least in this way, she'll be able to show Chaeyoung her love the right way.

The bathroom door opened and out came a freshly-looked Jisoo wearing pajamas, eyes immediately lighting up seeing Chaeyoung sitting on her bed with a tired look

"Chaeyoungie!"

Chaeyoung grunted but accepted Jisoo's tackle hug at her, her eyes a bit confused on how tight Jisoo's hug to her is as if she was missing a week

"Jisoo-unnie..." Chaeyoung spoke softly and Jisoo could finally feel her heart sag in relief hearing the familiar tone of the younger girl

"I'm so glad you're back" Jisoo whispered in relief

"Uhm...I do feel like some time has passed for me but seriously, I'm okay" Chaeyoung replied

Jisoo let go of the hug and asked

"Do you remember anything about a love potion?"

Chaeyoung shook her head "I don't...did I do something extreme?" She decided to ask her trustworthy unnie

"Well...the love potion does make a user forget the experience after snapping out of it..." Jisoo thought "To think that the shadow monster is a self-destructing one...maybe it is the dark element itself"

"Well, you did kiss Jennie"

Chaeyoung sputtered, eyes widening hearing what her unnie said "You have got to be joking me" Chaeyoung groaned and went back to laying on her bed in exhaustion; having this major headache upon waking up and being said about this stuff makes Chaeyoung want to just sleep for a whole week.

"Well, if it makes you feel a bit better" Jennie smirked "You're a good kisser"

Jisoo scowled while Lisa shifted her eyes uncomfortably. Chaeyoung just blushed and turned away from them

 

"Again, please just leave"

 

Just like that

 

Everything was back to normal again...

Two figures were eavesdropping on the girls and one sighed in irritation

 

"We should have done the plan some years ago," One said, crossing arms at the other "We would have avoided doing all of this"

 

"How many times do I have to tell you we got orders to just observe if she is worth all the effort"

 

"And she is!" The figure hissed angrily "We've seen her full capacity and we know her more than the others!"

 

Her companion sighed "And this is why the boss prefers having only me or all of us for this task"

 

"Hmp, I'm only here to make sure that the shadow monster did its task. Looks like it worked" The irritated figure said "We can't have her under the spell of a ing love potion"

 

"Don't worry..." The calm one grabbed the other one's shoulder firmly "Everything will fall into place; we just need to be patient and follow the plan."

 

"Hmp" The person shrugged the hand of her companion and blended with the shadows "It better be," She said before disappearing

 

The left-alone figure with eyes closed just stood there for a moment, hearing Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Chaeyoung talking with each other. Sensing them going to sleep for the night, the figure jumped high and started running out of the house with the moonlight's enveloping the night sky as the figure disappeared as well...
