JEONGYEON'S POV

[11 AM AT JEJU HOTEL]

I woke up to a familiar melody, I opened my eyes and saw Mina covered in a blanket standing in front of the balcony humming. I swear I drunk too much but my head is not having any kind of pain.

JY : "Hmm ohayo, do you like that song?"

MN : "Ohayo Jeongyeon-san. What song?"

JY : "The one you were humming to a while ago."

MN : "Ahh that one, I just heard that while you were taking a bath yesterday. It got stuck in my head after that."

JY : "Is that so? Want to hear it?"

MN : "Yes please."

She sat next to me on the sofa, she stared at the open space while we play the song.

MN : "It's a beautiful song."

JY : "It's because I love you."

MN : "Huh?"

I didn't mean to confuse her but for whatever reason, her cheeks turned red.

JY : "Hahaha that was the title of the song. It's my favorite."

MN : "Ahhhh I thought you were still drunk, who was the singer?"

JY : "Yoo Jae Ha."

MN : "He must be famous."

JY : "He was but he died at a young age from a car accident, it was his first album and it was a time where he was starting to have a name in the industry. They said that the song was about his great love, who left him and came back to him."

MN : "It's sad when you find someone you really want to be with but end up losing them. It's more agonizing to know that you'll never have them back."

JY : "I always listen to this, I don't know it reaches me in a deep way."

MN : "Maybe it's because of the sincerity of the song?"

JY : "I guess so..."

MN : "Hmm about last night, I'm sorry. I was out of control."

JY : "You weren't, it was fine. You need to loosen up sometimes."

MN : "Thank you for helping me out."

JY : "I didn't do anything."

MN : "You did, it was hard for me to open up to someone. I didn't know if it's because I was drunk or if there's just something about you that made me feel comfortable. Whatever reason it is, I'm grateful to you."

JY : "Arraso, we still have a day. You can do whatever you want, I'll be by your side."

MN : "Hahaha are you sure? What if I do something stupid?"

JY : "Then be it.... If it would help you forget, let's do it together."

MN : "Arraso I'll think about it but for now want to buy some foods outside? Some snacks?"

I took a quick glimpsed outside, the rain was not as bad as it was last night and I think we can go to the near convenience store.

JY : "Okay, I'm going to change."

We made our way to the lobby where I tried to borrow some umbrellas but they only have one left.

JY : "Mina-ssi here you can have it."

MN : "What are you going to use?"

JY : "The rain is not that bad I think my hoodie can hold it."

MN : "Ani, let's share."

JY : "Are you sure?"

MN : "Of course haha, we shared a room what is an umbrella to us? Gaja."

JY : "Arraso."

We arrived at the local convenience store, we took out a variety of snacks. We were about to go back when the rain started pouring heavily.

JY : "I guess we're stuck here huh."

MN : "Hmm why are your shoulders wet?"

JY : "It's because when we were coming in the store the wind blows the rain to me."

Not that I can tell that it was because she was holding the umbrella too low. 

MN : "Is that so? Hmmm, let's go back."

JY : "Are you sure? We might get soaked and how about the food?"

MN : "It should be fine, they're all in plastic anyway."

She started tying the opening of the plastic bag. 

MN : "There you go."

JY : "Arraso, then let me hold the umbrella for you."

MN : "Gaja!"

We made our way back to the hotel, taking small steps and sticking close to each other. Then suddenly she started to run ahead of me.

JY : "Yah Mina-ssi! What do you think you're doing?"

MN : "Don't you like playing in the rain?"

JY : "But you'll get sick."

MN : "The most that can happen is you catching a cold and fever, it's not like it's going to kill you."

Mina continued to play in the rain. Just today, I want to do whatever comes up to my mind. I folded the umbrella.

I can feel the raindrops in my head, I looked up and saw the sky pouring us this rain. I was still a kid when I last enjoyed the rain like this. 

MN : "Are you going to stay like that or are we going back to the hotel Jeongyeon-san?"

As I lowered my head I saw Mina standing in front of me in her hoodie, soaked in the rain giving me a gummy smile.

JY : "Hahaha! Arraso!"

MN : "Ehhh what are you laughing at?"

JY : "Nothing... Nothing... Hahaha the last one back at the hotel is the ugly one." I said as I run towards the hotel

MN : "Yah! That's unfair! You have long legs!" She said as she tried to ran after me.

I didn't like the rain before, I can't go out and it covers the view making it hard for me to take a good photo until someone; specifically this one right behind me proved that rain has its own beauty.
