JEONGYEON'S POV

BB : "Here you go Ms. Yoo, if you need anything please don't hesitate to call us. We'll be glad to help you out."

JY : "Thank you, appreciate it!"

She entered the room pulling her luggage in. I followed her and put my things down right next to the doorway.

JY : "Hmm I'm sorry about that, but I hope you don't get the wrong idea. I was just trying to help, the weather is really bad right now and I don't think going out will be a good idea. We can share the room, I can sleep on the sofa."

"Thank you, you saved me. I went to every hotel in this area and all of them were already booked. If I knew things will turn out this way I should've kept my hotel room. I can sleep on the sofa, you should take the bed."

JY : "I insist, I'm used to sleeping on the sofa so it's not something new for me. It's a relief to know that you didn't think I was up to something."

"You don't seem the type of girl to do so, but will you??"

JY : "Aniyo... I meant what I said, I was just trying to help out."

"Arraso, I get it. I'm really grateful for that but are you sure you're not following me?"

JY : "Huh?"

"I saw you at the airport."

JY : "Ani, it's just a coincidence. I happened to miss the same flight you missed."

"I guess we share the same amount of bad luck huh? :)" She smiled at me while she sat on the floor opening her bag.

JY : "Seems like it..." *Opens balconies curtain* "I hope you don't mind, I get little suffocated on small rooms, I'm claustrophobic."

"Is that the one when you get scared of Santa Claus?"

I thought she was smart, I guess looks really can be deceiving.

"I'm just kidding! Hahaha, I know what you meant."

Did she read my mind????

JY : "Haha that's a good one... Can I wash first? I feel sticky."

"Go ahead."

JY : "Then I'll be back."

I went inside the bathroom where I submerge in the tub, what if after I finished she's already gone and so my things? Did I trust her too fast? Whatever I can ask the airline for her information if something like that happens.

I took a good 30 minutes bath and when I got out, ai couldn't see the smaller girl. I looked at my things and none of them was touched... Then I found her laying in front of the balconies door, sleeping.

JY : "Uhm.... You shouldn't be sleeping in there, you should wash up and sleep on the bed."

"Mianhe, I was too tired that I just fell asleep on the floor. I'll wash up now."

There was something different from her after she woke up. Her eyes were somehow swelling.

The heavy rain has started to pour, there was a loud noise from outside. I can't believe I judged her that fast. I guess I can trust her.

A few minutes more and she stepped out of the bathroom, she was on her black nightgown and robe.  She sat next to me, while I pretend that I'm watching the TV.

"Hmmm, do you drink?"

JY : "I do wae?"

"Is it okay if we have a couple of drinks? I feel like drinking today."

JY : "Arraso then I'll order some drinks and some black meats."

"Black meat?"

JY : "Ehhhhh how many days have you been here?"

"About a week."

JY : "And you haven't tried it? Black meat is a must when you visit Jeju. I'll order some."

I made the call and it was passed 7 pm when our orders came in, we sat on the floor with our backs leaning on the couch, My sassy girl was running on the TV and it a brief silence as we drink a bottle of beer.

JY : "Come to think of it, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Yoo Jeongyeon, I'm from Seoul."

I turned to my side to face her.

"Omo we totally forgot about the most important part hahaha, I'm Myoui Mina and I'm from Japan." She smiled at me and return to watching the movie.

JY : "Japan?"

MN : "Hai! I'm from Kobe."

JY : "If you're from Japan why are your hangul this good?"

MN : "I studied foreign languages."

JY : "Daebak, I really thought you're Korean."

MN : "Hahaha don't worry you're not the only one who thought that."

MN : "She pretends to be happy, but she's full of sorrows inside." She recited at the same time the lead of the movie did.

JY : "I guess you saw this before." 

MN : "It was actually one of my favorites, you know they have an English version too."

I just nodded back at her, we went back to watching the movie while we continued to eat and drink. She's to focus on the movie I think it made her sad. Her eyes were welling, her face was all red. As the credit roll, she wiped a single drop of tear from her eye. She turned off the TV and turned her whole body facing me.

MN : "Jeongyeon-san why did you came here?"

JY : "Hmmm I was judging a competition."

MN : "Competition?"

JY : "A photography contest."

MN : "So you're a photographer?"

JY : "I am but I just started. How about you? What bought you here?"

My words echoed in the room, she looked straight into my eyes and I felt my heart fluttering.
