(Your POV)-

(Your thoughts)-"what is he doing here? I don't even look presentable right now ugh" (you said while trying to fix some of your makeup from looking at your phone screen before gathering up the courage to go back in since it was your place and act like nothing happened)

(Yeri)-Y/N-ah come join us for dinner, I invited Mark as I ran into him and guess what he just moved in downstairs

(You)-What? no way...(you said thinking to yourself: "I'm totally in a romcom right now")

(Mark)-Look I'm sorry for coming out of the blue but I was wondering if you would want to catch up whenever you're available

(You)-Yeah I'll have to get back to you on that, Yeri-ah do you mind meeting me in the bathroom real quick? (you say while pulling on her ear and dragging her with you)

(In the bathroom)

(You)-What is he doing here? I told you I'm not ready to see him yet

(Yeri)-Well this can be a start plus it's not like I'm asking you to go on a date with him right away, why don't we all just start out as friends for now and then whenever you're ready you can tell him how you feel. How's that sound?

(You)-Alright fine but I'm only accepting company because I'm hungry (you say while leaving the bathroom)

The three of you then ate dinner in silence and just watched whatever was on TV

While you and Yeri were cleaning up you saw Mark just standing in your apartment not knowing what to do

(You to Yeri)-What happened to the Mark that just didn't care and was the guy every girl wanted?

(Yeri to You)-Well people change and at least he's still attractive to one girl

(You to Yeri)-You mean his gf? I mean I'd hope she thought that but to me he just looks like a lost puppy

(Yeri to You)-Yeah well not only his gf but I was mostly talking about you silly, also I was planning on going to help Mark later move some of his things into his apartment if you wanted to come and stop by

(You)-I probably can't tonight sorry I have some work to finish up on (you lie)

(Yeri)-It's fine I get it, well I guess we'll get out of your hair then (she says giving you a goodbye hug and you end up just awkwardly waving at Mark while they leave)

At Mark's apartment

(Mark)-I don't feel like this is right just lying to her

(Yeri)-Trust me this plan is going to work

(Mark)-At what cost? What if she finds out that you've been pretending to me my gf this entire time?!

(Yeri)-Calm down, trust me she won't ever find out just stick to the plan and go to her apartment on Saturday and tell her that you need someone to talk to as you and your "gf" just got out of a messy breakup

(Mark)-What if she doesn't let me in?

(Yeri)-Look miserable or drunk and I'm sure she'll fall for it, well I gotta run but here's my housewarming gift (she says while giving him a small cactus)

(Mark)-Hey isn't this the cactus I gave you for your birthday last week?

(Yeri)-You know I can't take care of anything so it's yours now (she yells while rushing out of his apartment)

On Saturday night

You were on your couch wondering on which people you should watch so that you could forget about how depressing and lonely your life currently was

While you were making yourself some popcorn you heard a knock on your door

(You)-Who is it?

(Mark)-It's me can we talk?

You hesitate at first to open the door but hearing him crying made you concerned and as you opened the door he had walked towards you for a hug

(You)-Hey what's wrong? why are you crying all of a sudden?

(Mark)-My girlfriend just broke up with me through text and I didn't know who to come to 

(You)-Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that 

(Mark)-I mean I know we're not exactly as close as we used to be but could I have the company just for tonight?

(You)-Fine I mean I was just about to watch a movie and you can stay until the movie ends but you are out of this apartment once its over got it?

(Mark)-Yeah as you wish thank you

You ended up on choosing La La Land as the movie for the night.Still feeling uncomfortable being alone with him you sat on the chair next to him while he sat on your couch, but as much as you didn't want to admit it you missed spending time with him and while watching the movie the two of you would casually throw popcorn at each other while laughing.

By the time the film was over you saw that Mark had fallen asleep on your couch and at first you thought about putting the blanket over him and have a K-drama moment but you soon realized that this was way to early to be happening and you still needed to sort out your feelings. So you began trying to wake him up.

(You)-Mark wake up (you said shaking him a little bit)

Being unresponsive you decided to just let him sleep and went ahead to get ready for bed, as you were heading to your room you got an alert on your laptop

(Instagram- "Yeri just added a new story for the first time in a while" which showed a photo of her hand holding a coffee cup at a cafe which is when you realized that the ring on her hand looked very familiar and that's when it hit you)

Yeri was Mark's girlfriend his entire time?! How could she keep this from me?
