Chapter Four
A Promised Fate--
It's been a week since new semester started, and Minjoo has no problem with all the schedules and language barrier in the school. Once again, she was dubbed as the most beautiful first year, with Chaewon came in second. And nothing's change with her humble and kind behaviour as well making her the most popular in the university. Many boys and girls tried to get close with her.
Her relationship with Sakura also change a bit from when they were in high school. Due to Sakura's duty as the Student Council President and team leader of their university E-Sport club, they don't have much time together. But Sakura always make sure to give her girlfriend attention whenever she had the slightest opportunity.
Like that one time when Sakura saw Minjoo from far, she ran to her despite her weird running pose just to steal a quick kiss on her cheek before waved at her and smile cheekily. Nako, Sakura's friend who was in the same year as Minjoo and become her friend, had enough whenever Sakura did that. 'It's gross.' She said.
But Minjoo had this one thing that she couldn't take off of her mind.
Matsuoka Natsumi.
Ever since the welcome party in Sakura's house after the orientation day, Minjoo couldn't help but feel wary over this senior/Sakura's bestfriend. She might be surrounded by her girlfriend's other friends, but she couldn't help but watched them whenever Natsumi was with Sakura.
Like when Sakura was trying to find where she put her glass, Natsumi knew exactly where she put it. Or that time when Sakura's glass was empty. When Minjoo was about to fill it, Natsumi beats her to do that. She tried to shake it off, but the look Natsumi gave her when Sakura was being her clingy self. Natsumi might thought she wasn't looking, but she was. And she couldn't help but tightened her grip to her girlfriend.
Minjoo and Nako just finished their class and now walking to the cafetaria, waiting for Chaewon and Hitomi to have lunch together. They were sitting on the bench when Nako waved excitedly to someone behind Minjoo.
"You two don't have classes?"
It was Aoi and Natsumi. Nako grinned while Minjoo bowed her head.
"Just finished. Where are you two going?"
Aoi pouted and lifted some stuffs on her bag.
"Gonna have council meeting. See you! Oh, Minjoo! I'm gonna tell Saku-chan you said hi."
Aoi winked and walked away, laughing. Minjoo blushed and shake her head until she sense another presence in front of them.
"Sorry about that, Minjoo-chan. And Nako-chan, eat a lot okay?"
Natsumi said while patting Nako's head before heading to the same direction as Aoi. Minjoo watched her back and couldn't help herself.
"Say, Nako-chan."
Nako hummed while typing some messages on her phone.
"What's.. Um.. Those two are really close with Sakura, right?"
Nako finally lifted her head and look at Minjoo.
"Aoi-tan and Nacchan?"
Minjoo nodded her head.
"Yeah. Four of them, including Shige-chan, are childhood friends. We're all nothing compared to Nacchan, Aoi-tan and Shige-chan when it comes to Saku-chan. Although, I think their relationship kinda... strained before Saku-chan went to Korea."
Minjoo raised her brow.
"Because she's leaving?"
Nako shake her head.
"No, because Saku-chan confessed to Nacchan."

"Okay, what's going on?"
