[CONTENTID2]Seungcheol walked calmly towards the receptionist once he entered the sliding door of the hospital entrance. Jihoon walked behind him closely, eyes darted around to see. Seungcheol could also see few souls around the place, it wasn’t weird because this is hospital. Other than cemetery, hospital was another place he didn’t really like to visit because the ability of his.

Lucky for him, today there’s no ghost came to disturb him. Perhaps they knew he’s not available at the moment, Jihoon was walking with him.

“Hello, miss. May I know where the patience Lee Jihoon is? He is admitted on 24th September.” Seungcheol asked. The lady in white looked up.

“Lee Jihoon? Let me find in the record.” The lady answered and typed something on the keyboard. Her eyebrows moved slightly. “Uh, there’s no record of the said name.”

Seungcheol noticed that she’s lying. He calmly pulled out his badge and let her see. “I’m a friend of his and I have received news he’s here. Tell me the room, miss.”

The lady blinked and slightly nodded when she saw the police badge. She glanced around her before leaning down to whisper. “He’s in VIP lounge, ICU room 4.”

“Thank you.” Seungcheol flashed a smile and made his way.

“VIP?” Jihoon couldn’t help but mutter.

“You’re a rich person huh.”

“I don’t know.”

“You’re in ICU.” Seungcheol commented. “So, you aren’t dead.” He added. Jihoon didn’t say anything. Seungcheol realized perhaps because Jihoon wasn’t dead that he’s different from the other ghosts. They went through the hallway, following the signboard showing them the way to the VIP lounge.

“Hey, hyung.” Seungcheol glanced a little. A blue soul came to his side, walking along. Jihoon also looked at the newcomer. “Are you helping this soul hyung?”

“Hello to you, Minhwan.” Seungcheol said softly only for them to hear. He promptly pulled out his earphone and pretended to make a call. “Hey, it has been a while. I didn’t know you’re still here.”

The blue soul, Minhwan smiled. “I still have some time so I want to be around. Want to help some lost souls around here.”

“And sending them to me huh?” Minhwan grinned.

“You figured it out hyung?”

“It’s not that hard.”

“Who is this, Seungcheol?” Jihoon couldn’t help but ask finally. Minhwan smiled and introduced himself.

“I’m Seungcheol’s hyung neighbour back then when I’m still alive. Kim Minhwan, a nurse-to-be.”

“That’s why you’re around the hospital?”

Minhwan chuckled. “I was affected by a rare disease while I’m in my practice. So yeah.” Minhwan said nonchalantly. Jihoon felt bad and Minhwan noticed. “It’s okay, I made peace with it.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be. So, where are you going?”

“To find his body.” Seungcheol said slowly.

“You’re not going to the morgue... oh wait.” Minhwan looked at Jihoon closely. “You’re not dead.”

“Yeah, we just figured that earlier.” Seungcheol answered.

“I never see a soul wandered when it’s not yet dead.” Minhwan made a comment.

“This is the first for me too.” Seungcheol said. Minhwan nodded. Jihoon didn’t say anything.

“There must be a reason. Say, which room he is?” Minhwan asked.

“VIP ICU room 4.”

“Room 4?” Minhwan was thinking. And at that moment, they actually arrived at the room. Minhwan looked at the closed door. “Oh.”

“You know about the person?” Seungcheol asked. Minhwan glanced at Jihoon and then Seungcheol.

“His injury was actually not very bad, and his head concussion also wasn’t very life-threatening. He shall wake up after a day. But he falls into comma instead.” Minhwan looked at Jihoon. “Then I think this is the reason. His soul wandered out of the body.”

“Okay, I guess it’s all left to make the soul back to the body so he will wake up.” Seungcheol concluded. Minhwan nodded. He was about to say something when the door in front of them opened. A tall guy stared at Seungcheol who turned to look as well. The ghosts also ce the door opened. Three pairs of eyes stared at the tall guy. Jihoon frowned as he saw the tall guy.

“Who are you?” The tall guy asked at the same time as Jihoon groaned and held his head. Noises in his head made him dizzy but then Seungcheol and Minhwan didn’t notice the situation Jihoon was in because they’re focusing on the tall guy. Memory flooded into Jihoon’s head.

Flashback – Few months ago

“Where are you going again?” Jihoon was stopped when he was about to go out from his office. He glanced and saw his best friend business partner, Kim Mingyu. The tall figure stood before him flashing a curious look down to him. Jihoon rolled his eyes when he felt Mingyu purposely using the height difference to make him back down. But it wasn’t Lee Jihoon to be scared with such behaviour. If not, he won’t be able to lead his own business.

“None of your business, Gyu. I will be back in an hour.” Jihoon said raising his brow challenging the tall guy to move. Mingyu crossed his arms in front of his chest.

“Oh, oh. It’s my business. Did you forget we have meetings with shareholder after lunch?”

“I will be back before that. Now, let me go. The faster you let me go, the faster I will be back.” Jihoon said determinedly.

Mingyu huffed. “You’re going to watch that guy again, aren’t you?” Jihoon found himself blushing and looked away.

“I’m going to lunch.” Jihoon said quickly and used his smaller body to stealthily move passing Mingyu. Mingyu sighed.

“Just be back before the meeting or I will hunt you down.”

“No need!” Jihoon hollered back and left quickly. He jogged all the way to the elevator and impatiently waited to arrive at the basement. Once he got into his car, he didn’t wait to drive out from the building to his desired destination.

Jihoon swiftly parked his car in front of a café. He entered there and took his spot. As he somewhat the usual customer, the waiter knew him already and brought his usual menu even he didn’t order yet. Jihoon thanked the waiter without looking at him but his eyes stuck at the window beside him. From there, he could see a certain someone eating at the restaurant across the cafe. A soft smile crept on his lips. Jihoon peacefully took his coffee and drank it. Glancing between his food and the person on the other side of road, Jihoon felt peace at once.

Twenty minutes. The golden twenty minutes of certain days in his week had been something important in his routine for two months already. It’s all begin since that day which he accidentally came across with the person when he came to this café randomly for on-the-go lunch. When he came out from the café, he saw that person eating there. The person he thought he would never meet again since he finished high school. At first, he thought he was wrong and imagined it. But when he saw the person paid his food and smiled to the restaurant aunty, he knew he found that person. So, he didn’t wait to inquire the aunty about the person creating a lie about he’s searching for his best friend. The aunty told him a little about that person, Jihoon asked the aunty not to tell the other that someone searched for him, he covered it up with a lie that they had argument and it was best to let him meeting that person on his own. The aunty just agreed because it’s not her problem anyway.

But somehow, two months passed. And Jihoon never had the courage to meet him personally. Yet again, he’s still the same cowards from years back. The coward who helplessly crushed on that person and missed all the chance to confess before they graduated. Jihoon thought it wasn’t his fate but he didn’t find anyone else attractive after years and his heart beats again since he found his long-time secret crush.

Jihoon jumped a little when his phone rang. He took out his phone and sighed before picking up. “I’m coming.”

“You better be quick. Leave now.”

“You’re annoying.”

“I’m your best friend anyway. Stop being lovesick fool and come here.”

“Shut up, Kim Mingyu.” Jihoon groaned and ended the call. He left the money on the table and walked out. Jihoon drove back to his company before his best friend could nag on him again.

“Are you serious?” Mingyu gave a scrutinize look at Jihoon. Jihoon threw another look as well.

“I am.”

“What makes you suddenly want to tell him?” Mingyu asked, his face was showing discomfort but Jihoon didn’t see it as he was looking at the files in his hand. He was doing his job.

“Nothing much, I just woke up today and feel like it’s time for me to finally do something that I didn’t get to do back then.” Jihoon said calmly. Underneath his tone, there’s a layer of confidence and happiness. Mingyu made a hum.

“Okay, is there anything you want me to help?” Jihoon looked up.

“Nothing, I just want to tell you. Sharing the news with my best friend.” Jihoon gave a smile. “Despite I hate your annoying self, you’re the one and only best friend I have. Thanks for staying with me for so long.” Mingyu raised his brow at Jihoon and chuckled later.

“Did you get up from the bed at the wrong side? Why being so mushy today?” Jihoon clucked his tongue. Mingyu guffawed. “Okay, okay. You’re welcome. It’s what... friends for right?” Mingyu grinned. Jihoon gave a little nod.

“Here, all done. Is there anything else you need thou?”

“Nah, nothing.” Mingyu took the files he brought for Jihoon to review and sign. “When will you meet him?”

“Tonight.” Jihoon glanced at the time. There’s one hour before the office hours ended. “I lef
