Same clothes again so here's another selca~
Enjoy!
Being the sixth tallest building in the world, Lotte World Tower certaintly did not disappoint. Standing at over five hundred meters, it absolutely dwarfed even the newer buildings and malls beside it. As Seulgi pulled the car close, she couldn't help but slowly gaze up the colossal structure.
Yah I've seen pictures of this before but...
It's so damn tall...
'Ms. Bae...' Seulgi stammered.
'Hmm..?'
'Do you come here often?'
'I guess so... why?'
'N-nothing...'
I wish I could afford to come here more often...
After parking the car, and once again opening the door graciously like she done for many other clients before, Seulgi took her first step into the tallest building in Korea. Just like when she had stepped into Esquire's headquarters for the first time, Seulgi couldn't help but raise her head and marvel at her surroundings. Long wooden panels had been set diagonally across the wall, which stretched into the ceiling creating a massive arch. The ceiling itself was high, giving the lobby at least three floors worth of space. Glass windows lined the entrance, finishing off the look.
'Everything looks so new...' She marvelled.
'I know.' Irene replied. 'It just opened two years ago.'
'Jinja?'
Irene nodded.
They headed into a lift, which shot up the levels of the building. They arrived at a luxurious-looking resturant, where a man wearing a suit stood at the entrance.
'Good evening Ms. Bae.'
Seulgi was taken aback.
He knows her?
'Good evening.'
'Table for two?'
Irene nodded. 'Any spaces left?' She asked, glancing. 'You seem pretty full...'
'Well...' The man said, looking down at his ipad.
'We are fully booked tonight but....' He said, tapping away with his pen.
'A table for two with the best view in the house just opened up. What a coincidence.'
Irene looked at Seulgi, whom both gave an embarassed laugh.
'Thank you so much~'
'No problem. Do the enjoy the food, Ms. Bae. Have a good night.'
With that, he gestured towards a stewardess, who lead Seulgi and Irene to their table.
True to the man's word, the stewardess took them to the best table in the restaurant. It was a square table, perched on a platform set a step higher than the rest of the floor. Directly next to the table was a window that ran from the floor to the ceiling, giving the viewer an almost unrestricted view of the streets of Seoul.
'Yah. Boss.' Seulgi said, sitting down.
'Hmmm?'
'You're like a superhero.'
Irene tilted her head to one side.
'Which one?'
'Batman.'
'Why?' She said, letting out a chuckle.
'Because you got them to clear up a table for you just by showing up... '
'If I were batman I would've bought the resturant on the spot.' Irene laughed.
'I guess you really have everything Ms. Bae.'
'Ah-ah that's not it... I don't own everything I want...'
'There's something that you can't get your hands on?'
Irene nodded thoughtfully, looking out of the window.
'There's always something...'
'Like what?'
'A good apartment?'
Irene shook her head.
'I like my place.'
'..um... a good car?'
Irene turned her head abruptly.
'You think my car isn't good enough?'
'Ah that's not it... it's just.. you might want a better one...?'
'Nah...' Irene said dismissively. 'It's good enough...'
'Then... what do you want that you don't have?'
'...'
'You.'
'...'
Excuse me what?
Me? As in me?
Kang Seulgi?
There's no one else here though...
Jinja? Me?
Oh...
Oh-really?
Be...
Because...
I wouldn't min-
Irene suddenly burst out laughing, almost clapping her hands.
'Just kidding just kidding.'
Oh
'Y-yeah... ha....ha...' was all Seulgi managed.
'Here!' Irene said, handing Seulgi the menu. 'See what you want.'
The menu, like typical high-class resturant menus, came with merely a description of the food, with no pictures and price. This was slightly troubling for Seulgi, since she hadn't even heard of most of the foods that were listed there, let alone know what they were. Moreover, the fancy font did nothing but
