Lucas has the difficulty to sleep that night. Countless times he changes his position to try to heavily doze himself out but fails to do so. He didn’t really know why his brain and eyes refuse to shut themselves down

Could it possibly because of that Yanan guy? He starts questioning himself why

Yuqi never once did mention, let it alone share stories about who is Yanan and how close their friendship is to Lucas and because she doesn’t, it never crosses Lucas’s mind until tonight

Thanks to the accidentally reading back in the van, curiosity starts to kick in and it’s making him restless

Lucas grabs his phone that he place on top of the bedside table intending to put an end to the sudden attack feeling and thoughts

Yuqi just finish The Last Jedi that aired in one of the movie channels when she noticed an incoming kakao message that she received 6 minutes ago

Lucas : Asleep?

(6 minutes)

Yuqi : No. Why?

Lucas : What are you doing?

Yuqi : Just done watching

Lucas : Planning to sleep

Yuqi : Going to

Lucas : Mind that you don’t yet?

Lucas : I can’t sleep

Yuqi : What’s wrong?

Lucas : Something is bothering me

Yuqi : Don’t tell me I have to do with that something

Lucas : I guess

Yuqi : What is it this time?

Lucas : Can we speak in person

Yuqi : No

Yuqi : Look at the time

Lucas : We can talk while we take a stroll at the garden

Lucas : Or you prefer to just sit and talk at the rooftop café

Lucas : Or you just want to stay and talk in your room

Lucas : Please?

(3 minutes)

Yuqi : Garden area

Lucas hops out of the bed as soon as Yuqi answers back agreeing to meet him. He snatches a sweater that he hung inside the closet that’s beside the entrance door and flee out to go the room beside his

Just in seconds, Yuqi opens the door wearing a baggy shirt and sweatpants, kind of twinning with Lucas at the moment, “Lucas. You do know what time is it right?” she closes the door telling him that it’s now 11 at night while both of them heads down

When reaching to the 4th floor where the garden area is at, Yuqi didn’t expect Lucas would acknowledge such kind of place in the hotel because the gym and restaurants are the most often ones he visits

“Nice right?” Lucas sounds like he’s been in the area before, “I accidentally pass by here on my way back yesterday night”

The atmosphere is quite quiet that night. Only the sound of water running down from the fountain and the lightly wind breeze can be heard

Yuqi clears roaming her eyes around and visibly can see there’s no one else except them, “There is ok?” she finds a spot for them to sit and talk privately

“Sure” Lucas answers as they follow the pathway to that long stone bench Yuqi pointed out

Yuqi sits down and gaze up at the sky a bit to a couple of the stars that's illuminating the dark night. “So—” she takes a deep breath staring back down to Lucas, “What is that’s bothering you?”

Lucas seated down right next to her and sighs lightly thinking the best way to start the conversation, small talk before the main question or f it just go directly, he asked himself, “Remember when your phone is with me when we're on our halfway back to the hotel yesterday because you fell asleep and it almost fell down to the ground?” he decides to go with the small talk first

“Yeah?” Yuqi answered shortly remembering it all

Lucas massages his neck giving her a nervous smile, “I, not purposely read a notification when the lock screen lights up”

“And?” Yuqi frowns slightly waiting for him to continue

Lucas hesitate at first wanting to mention the name but the night wasn’t getting any younger, “Yanan” he finally lets the name that made him restless tonight come out from his mouth

Yuqi quite didn’t understand at first, “Yanan?” but after recapping how Lucas insist wanting to stroll around the garden to talk about it, Yanan is that something that’s been bugging him. Yuqi nods once glancing away from Lucas, pressing her two lips together, “He’s one of my closest friends. Guy friend. He’s not the only one but he’s the closest. What else do you want to know?” 

“How come you didn’t mention his gender that time?”

“I didn’t?”

“No. I had to Internet search myself to find—” Lucas accidentally blurts out too much information for Yuqi to know

“You what?” Yuqi was a bit shocked that Lucas went to all that trouble just because he didn’t know Yanan was a guy or girl

Lucas leans his both hands on the stone bench and looks up to the couple of stars while taking a long deep breath, “Why are you laughing?” he stares back down to Yuqi direction hearing a soft laughter coming out from her

Yuqi cover from laughing any louder, “I’m sorry” she said, “You know you can just simple ask me right? Internet search? Aiaya Lucas” she stops laughing and catches her breath

“I didn’t want to sound possessive” Lucas huffed with a thin smile

“Better than a creep” Yuqi murmurs

“Mwoh?”

Yuqi laughs again and patted his shoulders, “I was just kidding” she sighed, “Go head. Ask me what you want to know about Yanan” she lets out a smile thinking she doesn’t have a reason to not share stories about her and Yanan to Lucas, like Lucas did with her about Yeseo and him

After a whole one hour, Yuqi wraps up her story making the curiosity in Lucas fades away because he had gotten what he needed to know all about Yanan

The two then decided to go back straight up to their room afterwards because they have to attend an art exhibition for charity with the other cast later that morning

On their way up inside the elevator, Yuqi casually tells Lucas that she hopes to see Lucas be as kind as with Yanan like he is with her when Yanan arrives in Macau

Unable to measure his jealousy for later one, Lucas replies with a faint smile, “We’ll just have to see but i’ll try my best”

10 minutes behind her original plan to wake up, Yuqi hurries out from her bed into the bathroom for a warm shower to start the day

Meanwhile in the other room, Lucas unconsciously keeps snoozing his alarm due to the late night talking with Yuqi 

Getting a sort of clarification from Yuqi that her and Yanan don’t have any potential of taking their friendship to the next level, Lucas came back to his room feeling relieved and happy causing him to fall asleep as soon as he jumps back in his bed

Yuqi just done putting her clothes on and walks out of the bathroom when she heard someone rang the doorbell, “Oh?” she peeks through the peephole and saw it’s Lucas’s manager, “Oppa? What brings you here early in the morning?” she ask opening the door

“Can I ask you for a favor?” Lucas’s manager ask if she's willing to help him wake up Lucas because when he tried, Lucas only murmured out her name instead of opening his eyes

“Oh wow” Yuqi raises her brow and blinks repeatedly, “I guess?” she gets her card key from the slot and accompany Lucas’s manager to Lucas’s room

“Don’t worry. I already hid everything that needs to be hidden” said Lucas’s manager as the enter inside and gives way for Yuqi to go near Lucas

Yuqi tries waking up Lucas with a motherly gentle call by his name the first time but no response even on the 5th calling

“Is a heavy sleeper?” she turns to Lucas’s manager because back in (G)i-dle’s dorm, Miyeon is one and it’s never an easy task to wake her up. Even if there’s an earthquake, she’ll be the last to take cover, when the earthquake stops

“No” replied Lucas’s manager, “When he’s drunk, yes. But no alcohol scent detected”

“Oppa. Cover your ears” she rolls up her sleeves and going to use a strategy she never uses before on anyone, “Lucas” she starts off with a soft tone shaking his back, “I said WAKE UP” she then shouted turning that soft shacking to two big whack to finally get a response from Lucas

“What the—” Lucas grunts turning around to see what just landed on his back

“You’re not going to wake up? I’ll rip you apart. You got that?” Yuqi takes a step back to where Lucas’s manager is standing

Lucas didn’t know if he was still dreaming or not, “Yuci?” he slowly sits up rubbing his eyes to get a clearer view

“My job here is done” she turns to Lucas’s manager giving him a high five excusing herself to go back to her room

“I’m impressed” Lucas’s watches Yuqi walking out and turns back his focus on Lucas, “Morning sunshine. The makeup artist will be here in 15 minutes” Lucas’s manager lifts the blanket and reaches out  to Lucas and drags him out of the bed, “No t
