Like any mother would do before their child have to travel far away again, Mrs Song wakes and stumbles out from her bedroom all the way to the kitchen at 5 in the morning to prep and cook Yuqi’s favorite dishes for her to bring to Macau

Hour passes and the scent of Mrs Song’s cooking starts to spread around the apartment

Yuqi didn’t intend to wake up at such early in the morning because her flight is still 10 hours away but because the smell that's so tempting for the nose and stomach, her body auto wakes itself up

The four medium size food container that Mrs Song prepare on top of the kitchen counters begins to get filled in by her cooking

Yuqi’s eyes lit seeing two from the four food container is almost overflowing with foods that she often misses when she’s far away from home

Yuqi embraces her mom, “Thank you mama” and gives a short tight lip big kiss on the right cheeks

“Don’t forget to share it with your manager” Mrs Song reminded Yuqi that he only got to taste her hot pot when he could have tasted other delicious meal if only Yuqi informed her she was coming that day

Yuqi did try to invite her manager over a couple of times to their apartment but he always has an excuse to politely decline the offer, “Going sight-seeing is one” is the most one he used

Taking a day off from the office to spend the last hours with his daughter, Mr Song just woke up and him too got tempted by the smell of Mrs Song’s cooking

“I think I might skip coffee and ask for a bowl of rice instead” he walks into the kitchen and look over the stove

“Did baba woke up late?” Yuqi surprise to see her dad is still at home

“No” Mr Song turns to her and smile, “I told my employee I’m taking a day off for an occasion that rarely happens”

“Awwww” Yuqi felt touched by both of her parents intention of making her happy before departing with them again 

“Now. Go and take shower” Mrs Song expel her daughter and husband from the kitchen so she can have her spacious space back to move and work freely again

“Is your manager going to come over here or he’ll meet you up at the airport?l” asked Mr Song while they walk back to living room

Yuqi nodded, “Chen is going to pick him up later” and heads towards the hangers where the towels are hung, “Baba. How about we play cards after I take a shower?” she turns to Mr Song before continuing her steps to the bathroom

Mr Song never play cards in the morning but because it’s Yuqi request, he doesn't want to refuse it, “Sure”

Seeing Yuqi smiles brightly and humming a tune going inside the bathroom, Mr Song flashbacks to that day when Yuqi confessing about her dream of wanting to be a Kpop idol to him and Mrs Song

Mr Song and Mrs Song was aware that Yuqi loves to do arts and music at her high school days

They always thought it’s more of a hobby to her and not a career life choice

And like any other parents, Mr and Mrs Song had their own dream for Yuqi

Being a singer was never on that list. Especially a singer in a foreign country where they never even step foot in before

“I want to sing and perform. It’s my passion. My dream” Yuqi said loud and clear that very one day

Mrs Song got so shock she grounded Yuqi the very same day, forbidding her to participate in any of her school extra curriculums she loves doing so much for a full week

But being grounded didn’t make Yuqi change her mind. Her decision has been made and it caused non stop bickering between her and Mrs Song every time Yuqi tries to mention about it

One day Yuqi even dare herself to lie on the phone that she had to do a group studying after school when she really went to audition for Cube just because the audition is only held two days

Mr and Mrs Song had no suspicions once Yuqi comes home, “How’s the study?” they even asked

Yuqi could lie over the phone but she’s awfully bad at lying directly to them

She told the truth and hands out a piece of paper saying she got accepted to be one Cube’s trainee

Mrs Song threw the piece of paper aside before storming inside to the master bedroom

“Yuci—” Mr Song heavily sigh picking up the piece of paper both of them needed to sign from the floor

“What’s the point of living life not doing the things that make you happy?” Yuqi sits herself down on the couch

“Or course we want you to be happy” Mr Song seats beside Yuqi wrapping his arm around her shoulders, squeezing it tightly, “It’s just that me and mama are worried about the lifestyle revolving in that industry and not to mention the lack of freedom once you succeed”

“Baba and mama raised me well” Yuqi gaze deep into Mr Song eyes so he can see how much she truly wants it, “Baba and mama got to trust me. I will work hard and make you both proud”

“You’re stubbornness reminds me so much of mama when we dated” Mr Song smiles reminiscing those days

“I am her daughter after all—” Yuqi smiles back, “Please..”

Mr Song had a minute of silence before finalizing his decisions, “When does this Cube need the paper back?”

“Thank you baba” Yuqi hugs tightly Mr Song

“I’ll talk to mama after this” Mr Song hugs her back

Meanwhile, across the country

Kun, Ten, Winwin, Hendery, Xiaojun, Lucas and Yangyang occupied their free time to pack for China the next day to attend the companies press release party for their newest song that will drop later in the evening, today

Known to being moody when it comes to packing, Winwin is impressed Lucas’s luggage is already half filled with clothes that’s neatly place inside while most of his is still laying around on the floor, unfolded

What makes it more interesting is Lucas does it while multitasking on his phone

Winwin is sure it’s the mysterious girl energy that’s doing all the magic

“Till when your going to keep her in the shadows?” Winwin quips playfully

Lucas : Don’t forget to stream tonight

Yuqi : Stream what?

Lucas : What a friend you are

(1 minute)

Yuqi : I was kidding Lucas

Yuqi : Sure i’ll stream

Yuqi : You’re going to link it at weibo right?

Yuqi : Youtube is blocked here in case you forgot

Lucas : I’m not Yuci

Lucas : I don’t suffer from a short term memory

(3 minute)

Yuqi : Wow

Yuqi : What a friend you are

Lucas : I was kidding Yuci

(5 minute)

Lucas : You seem busy

Yuqi : In the middle of continuing with my packing that I stopped last night

Lucas : What time is your flight

Yuqi : Around 5 hours from now

Yuqi : But since this is Beijing and there's traffic, it’s better I standby 2 hours earlier at the airport than being left by the plane

Lucas : So this means I’m disturbing you right now?

Yuqi : Still ask?

Lucas : An answer I wasn’t expecting

Yuqi : Kidding Lucas

Yuqi : But really though, I need to finish before mama comes in and discover I haven’t

Lucas : I’m sure your mom is not that scary

Yuqi : You’re right

Yuqi : I’m the one with fangs in the house

Lucas : I guess I have to watch out then

Yuqi : Pretty much

Lucas : Well the myth does say a vampire prefer to prey on the s more

Yuqi : What the f—

Winwin got up from where he sat to take Lucas phone away from his hand as a tease of revenge for not replying or even paying any attention to what Winwin have said

Sensing someone is getting closer from his side sight, Lucas divert his sitting position and uses his back body as his shield from Winwin 

Lucas giggles, “You know that won’t work right?” reminding Winwin the tickling tactics never works on Lucas because he’s not ticklish

Ten and Kun whose in the kitchen getting ready to prep some lunch for all of them overhears the banters and laughter coming from inside Winwin’s and Lucas’s room

It draws Ten’s attention the most making it hard for him to resist not wanting to know what’s going on

“Coming?” he turns to Kun who is standing behind the breakfast counter

“I guess” Kun goes along whatever it is Ten intend to do

Defeated by Lucas’s strength of defense, Winwin finally gives up

He threw himself on the floor and catches his breath

Lucas lays close beside him, regulating his breath also from Winwin attempts of trying to steal his phone away from him

Ten opens the door widely making a passageway for him and Kun

Kun steps inside while Ten leans sideways against the doorway, “Can you two at least do it quietly” he made fun of the two entering and closing the door back shut

“You and your absurd thoughts ge” Winwin switching his body position to the side, “Sorry for making loud noises. It’s all because Lucas here still trying to be all secretive with his crush”

Ten and Kun stare at each other trying hard to hold in their laughter astound with Winwin’s innocent mind still having no clue when Keep Running has already aired two of it’s episode

“I can continue not to care but his energy and the stupid smiles he gives off every time he chats her urge me wanting to know” Winwin continued

“You seriously haven’t got one clue who it is yet?” Ten asked
