Since the next filming will be in the same city, Lucas is forced to stay for a couple more days

Moving will only raise questions between the cast, crew and fans who randomly likes to wait outside of the hotel, not knowing about the real situation that’s happening

Even though, Lucas’s manager deals with it very calmly and doesn’t stress over it. He’s convinced that Yeseo won’t be careless exposing herself out in the open. Especially how she's the face of her group

Popular or not her group is in the country, she’ll be recognized by any kpop mania, “But I'm still going to quarantine you till I get information from Korea” said Lucas’s manager

“So does this mean I’m having in room breakfast, lunch and dinner starting today?” Lucas getting up from the bed

“You make it sound it’s gonna go on for weeks” Lucas’s manager burst out a small laughter, “Don’t worry. I’m sure she won’t be here for days. Especially after she finds out it’s not your room she knocked on”

Lucas’s manager flashback to that night when Lucas called him and told him about Yeseo sudden appearance

The first thing he did was check out Lucas from the old room and book a new room, where Lucas is staying now, not using his name or Lucas but using Yuqi’s manager name

Judging from how Yeseo succeeded landing herself in front of Lucas’s previous room, using his name or Lucas will easily invite Yeseo back

When he’s done, Lucas’s manager reports it to the production crew who is responsible for handling the cast stays and needs on why he had to switch room without involving that crew, “Info got leaked but it’s ok” he said not wanting the crew to panic and blame it on the hotel staff for the lack of security because the story has missing plots that he purposely didn’t fill in for the crew to know

“We’ll tighten the security from our side then” said the crew

“Sure. You don’t know how far those sasaeng can go for their idol” Lucas’s manager said having tons of experience encountering them

Lucas somehow remembers that day when he hung out with Yan lin and Yuqi. When Yuqi answered a phone call that kept ringing in the middle of their conversation, could it be that triggered Yeseo?, he asked himself and starts to wonder if Yeseo wasn’t able to reach him, Yuqi could be the next person she tries too, but why would she? Doesn’t that girl have stocks of men she can run to? Why must go to all the trouble for me?

“Earth to Lucas?” his manager snapping Lucas from his thoughts floating around, “Good to have you back” he sees Lucas eyes comes back to life, “I’m gonna go downstairs for breakfast so people won’t ask for your absence. Anything I can get for you while I’m down there?”

“Nah. I’m good” Lucas grabbing his phone that he put on top one of the bedside table

“Don’t forget to order yourself some in room breakfast” his manager walks towards the door and heads down to breakfast

Lucas threw himself back on the bed and open his kakao app. He clicks on Yuqi profile and chatted her

Lucas : Where are you?

Yuqi : Gonna go down for breakfast. You?

Lucas : Stuck in the room

Yuqi : Stuck?

Lucas : I’m being quarantine 

Yuqi : Wow

Yuqi : That serious huh?

Lucas : For precaution

Lucas : Are you downstairs yet?

Yuqi : Not yet. I just walked out of my room

Lucas : I suddenly remember something

Yeseo woke up with a bad mood not being able to execute her plans according to her expectations

She grabs her phone and look through the emails her links of information have sent her regarding about Lucas activities and stays in China according to the Keep Running leak schedules

Yeseo sent a message to her link telling that person if she had Lucas’s room number right, I kept going back and forth for 2 hours but there was no sign of him showing up in the corridors, Yeseo typed, I did again an hour later and even knocked on the room door but no one answered. I’m pissed. I expect to get a result according to the price I have paid, Yeseo groans stumbling out of bed to view the scenery from the window

Minutes after she sent the message, her link replied Yeseo back

If you think i’m lying. I’m not. All cast is staying at the same hotel you are in right now. I also stated that it’s not going to be easy to stalk them up close. Some from our group have tried and failed. Reading how you got all the way to the front of his room but failed to meet him, sorry to say, but maybe you should blame luck for not being at your side

“Wow” Yeseo huffed, “Such a ” she sighed heavily putting down her phone aside, “Maybe I should go check downstairs. She did say they usually have breakfast at this hour”

Wearing a mouth mask and a baseball cap, Yeseo sits at the lobby lounge and waits for any cast to pass by the lobby. After waiting for a while, she spotted a big tall guy that seems to be a bodyguard to accompany a small figure girl and a guy heading to the elevator

Yeseo got up from her seat and starts following them because she’s sure it must be one of the cast, at least she wasn’t lying, she said to herself about her link

Didn’t want to make it obvious, Yeseo keeps her distance while trying to get a clear view of who it is. But before she could, Yuqi’s manager manage to spot a stranger creeping from behind through a mirror reflection

Before getting closer to the elevator, Yuqi’s manager stops their steps while paying attention to that stranger, she‘s following, he said to himself seeing the stranger wearing a mouth mask stopping her step as well

“What wrong oppa?” Yuqi asked, “Did you forget something?”

“In fact. I did” Yuqi’s manager lied, “Why don’t you go up first with him”

“Ok” she replied not having any suspicions, “Oh. Lucas told me to come by his room—”

“What?” her manager choke coughs raising his brow not believing what he just heard

“He said he have something important to tell me”

“Why can’t he just say it via text?”

“I already did, but he insisted”

“That boy—” Yuqi’s manager mumbles, “Ok. Go. Just don’t break my trust” he turns his focus back to the stranger

“Why would I break your—“ Yuqi gasp silently, “Oppa. Please. You’re thinking way out of line” she rolls her eyes heading back towards the elevator, “I’ll message you once I go back to my room”

Yeseo continue her steps auto unconsciously as soon as she sees Yuqi getting onto the elevator, “Yah” she felt someone bumped into her

Very familiar with the kind of reaction, Yuqi’s manager apologizes and starts speaking in Korean for pretending to bump the person by accident, “I didn’t see where I was looking”

“Use your eyes next time” Yeseo says not glancing one bit to Yuqi’s manager because she’s trying to catch up to Yuqi before the elevator door closes

“Oh miss!” Yuqi’s manager calls her, “Miss. I think you drop your key” he picks up his own card key that he threw down on the floor to stall her attention

Feeling annoyed of losing her chance, Yeseo turns and walks back to where Yuqi’s manager is standing. Yeseo take a good look to what he’s holding and check to see if it’s really her’s

Finding her card key still in her back jeans pocket, Yuqi’s manager apologizes, “I’ll take this to the receptionist then”

Yuqi’s manager slowly disappears from Yeseo sight and just when she no longer can see him in the lobby area, she realizes he’s the same person that was walking with Yuqi and the bodyguard, how could you be to stupid? Yeseo curses herself for feeling like a fool for not realizing it sooner

Meeting and briefly interacting with Lucas’s ex face to face, Yuqi’s manager went over to Lucas’s manager room to report what just happened

“What’s the emergency?” Lucas’s manager opens the door for Yuqi’s Manager

“I just met the zombie” Yuqi’s manager steps in and take a sit at the long sofa in the room

“Zombie?” Lucas’s manager sits across him not getting a clue

“Lucas’s ex” Yuqi’s manager explains the nickname is given by him because Lucas got quarantine by Lucas’s manager for a while to avoid her and quarantine often happens in zombie movies, “Yes—seo? Did I get her name right?

“What? Where?” Lucas’s manager got a surprised

“At the lobby. When me and Woogie was about to head back to our rooms after breakfast. My guess is she was patrolling around the area waiting for that moment. I think the bodyguard made it too obvious but we need them” Yuqi’s manager sighs lightly, “Anyways. Her eyes were too pinned to Woogie she didn’t really pay attention to me”

Lucas’s manager stood up and couldn’t believe his expectations slipped, “I thought she wouldn’t dare to show herself at board of daylight”

“She had a cap and mouth masked on. Of course she will be unrecognizable. I know it’s her because she blurted out korean words and start talking in korean”

“Stupid of me not being able to think of that. I guess the only thing we can do if it happens again is just to stall her” said Lucas’s manager not really having any other idea at the moment

“Any words back from hyung’s insiders back at home?” asked Yuqi’s manager thinking he might have one

“Not yet. Only an info saying her group is preparing for a comeback around next month. I think. Why?” Lucas’s manager turns his stare to Yuqi’s manager

“Does her company know she’s out of town?” Yuqi’s manager arched his brow and smirks thinly

“Contact the company directly. More efficient and save some time. Just don’t use hyung’s number or the hotel’s. We have to be untraceable”
