Today's filming felt the most hectic for the cast. Not only they had to do 7 different sets, they too had to do wardrobe change each time the team switches

It was already dark when they move and finish their last set. The cast didn’t forget to wave and say thank you to the fans who have patiently waited for them outside in the cold before getting inside the travel van to finally go back to the hotel

“The seat taken?” asked Lucas

“Since when you ask?” Yuqi indirect tells him how Lucas usual just sits whenever there is an open space beside Yuqi

“I heard they finally gave you permission to go to Beijing to visit your mom and dad?” he knows the company didn’t allow her at first

“Yeah” Yuqi nods with a huge smile, “Finally”

“I wish I can visit mine soon” Lucas sigh leaning his head back somehow envying how Cube can loosen up about these kind of things all of sudden unlike SM Ent

“Don’t worry. You will. Soon” Yuqi tries to cheer him up but Lucas doubt SM Ent will give him a break this time around, especially when there is a rumor going on in the company that they have plans for him and a couple others in the future months. But because this is what he signed up for and have a dream of buying his family a house, he continues to cope with it

“Hmm” Lucas leans his head back straight up and just smiles as his answer, “What time is your flight tomorrow?”

“Late afternoon. How about you? Going to stay in China in the two weeks day off?”

“Nope. I don’t have a schedule in China till the 10th. Press release for a new music and video. You? Besides staying with your parents and all”

“The company told me to stay in Beijing so I can go straight to Macau instead of going back and forth from China to Korea and back to China again. They also said that (G)i-dle schedules doesn’t start days after the next filming so there will be no activities before that. You can say I got a vacation bonus”

“Why is your face like that though?” Lucas notice Yuqi’s resting face, “Shouldn’t you be excited the company finally let’s you go home and add a bonus of extra days”

“I am” Yuqi sigh feeling kind of like she’s betraying for not being able to celebrate (G)i-dle anniversary together with the members and cheating remembering how the other members haven’t seen theirs yet, “Minnie already explain her and the girls will never have that kind of thought and that they are all happy for me”

“She’s right” Lucas takes turns of cheering her up, “And besides, it wasn’t your decision to make but Cube’s”

“Thanks Lucas” Yuqi turns her face to him and smiles

“You're Welcome” Lucas smiles back

The next morning, half of the cast didn’t show up for breakfast

“Why are we such early birds?” said Yuqi’s manager to Yuqi when both getting theirs from the buffet table, “We could do room service but I prefer coming down. Don’t you? I mean look at all of that” he pointed to the many choices of food, “By the way. Did you pack all your things yet?” he reminds her again about the time of their flight schedule

“Half. I was too sleepy to pack it all up at once last night” replied Yuqi, “I’ll continue once I’m done with breakfast”

“Did you tell your mom you’re going to visit and stay for the whole week?”

“No” she smiles widely, “I want to surprise her. But I did tell my cousin, Chen since he’s going to pick me up at the airport” she explains not only she did not tell her mom but also her dad and the other family members, “He’s really good at keeping secrets” she tells her managers that not once her cousin Chen spills anyones tea no matter how hard people try to bribe him, “I told him to rent a car and we’ll wait at the pick up zone so his identity can be kept a secret incase fans decides to follow all the way to Beijing”

“You’re getting good at strategizing a guise” Yuqi’s manager impress with Yuqi’s expansion of ideas throughout their journey in China

“I learned from the best” she said as they both walk to the table where Ya wen and an unknown women figure sitting beside him

“I’ll be right over there if you need me” Yuqi’s manager puts down Yuqi’s plate that he helped carries and politely excuse himself to join in one table with Ya wen’s manager

“Good morning” Yuqi greets Ya wen and the mysterious woman. Judging by the matching rings on their ring fingers, Yuqi guesses she must be his wife and she was right

“Shen Jiani” Ya wen introduces her

“Nice to meet you” Jiani got up and handshakes Yuqi

“Nice to meet you too” replied Yuqi handshaking Jiani, “We heard wonderful things about jiejie from Ya wen ge here” they both sat down and starts to chat getting to know one and another

Lucas who came a bit late with his manager went straight head to the buffet table. While his manager puts down their bag over to where Yuqi’s manager already seated with Ya wen’s manager

“That looks good” he looks over at Yuqi’s manager plate, “Which section I can get those?”

“Over there. Near the drinks” Yuqi’s manager pointed to the section

“Morning” Lucas’s manager didn’t forget to greet Ya wen’s manager, “I thought gege and Ya wen ge would skip breakfast also”

“No” answered Ya wen’s manager, “Ya wen ge told his wife that there's more option here than the menu book”

“Same thinking” exclaims Yuqi’s manager

“Wife?” Lucas’s manager haven’t pay attention over to the other table, “When did jiejie arrived?” he looks over to Jiani

“Around you guys were all still at the filming location”

“Figures gege didn’t come with us,” said Yuqi’s manager not seeing Ya wen’s manager all day yesterday

“Had to pick up and accompany the Mrs’s while she waits for husband to come home from work” Ya wen’s manager smiles

From the buffet table all the way over towards where Ya wen and Yuqi is now sitting, Lucas finally joins in, “Good morning” he politely greets them one by one before taking the seat next to Yuqi

“Honey, this is Xuxi. More known by the name Lucas” Ya wen introduces Jiani to Lucas

“Honey?” Lucas raising a brow not getting one clue who Jiani is

“I’m his wife” Jiani introduces herself to Lucas. Lucas accepts her handshake finally meeting the one and only person Ya wen constantly talks about, “Nice meeting you. Xuxi? Lucas?” she asked which name he prefers to be called

“Whatever jiejie comfortable calling me” Lucas replied

“I heard you and Yuci here are originally peers in Korea?”

Lucas nods, “Me and Yuci debuted at the same year. I then got put in a new unit afterwards and now more active in China than in Korea”

“And I’m more active in Korea than China” said Yuqi after Lucas finish explaining

“Morning by the way, Yuci” Lucas turns his stare to her

Yuqi stares at him back, “Lucas. Your all dressed up this morning. Unlike usual”

“I left out the part about my flight schedule is earlier than yours last night”

“Oh?” Yuqi look down her phone receiving a text from her cousin, Chen, asking the time of her arrival in Beijing

Lucas tries to get a peak of whom Yuqi is texting but Yuqi covers her phone from Lucas eyes lurking towards it, Jiani and Ya wen discuss in a whisper tone about the two, “They somehow remind me of us” said Jiani

“Us?”

“How we started as friends, best friends” Jiani smiles to Ya wen. Ya wen finally gets what his wife is trying to say and Jiani only gives Ya wen a wink afterwards

Yuqi put aside her phone and continue to finish her breakfast, “Is Jiani jiejie is fix to be Ya wen ge guest for the finale?” she asked

“She sure is” Ya wen answers immediately, “Are you going to bring one of your group mates?”

“I wish” Yuqi wanting to bring Minnie along at first, “But she doesn’t know any Chinese” and explains she picks another person who is close to her and can speak fluent Chinese language, “Yanan. We’ve been friends since trainee days”

Lucas have heard about Pentagon, he is not familiar with the group, let alone knowing the name of each member. Thus, the name Yanan is very foreign for him. Lucas didn’t even know if Yanan is a she or he, “Yanan?” Lucas asked

“Yeah” Yuqi nodded and tell others Yanan is one from the few that made her feel at home while she’s training and being far away from her parents, “Just another Chinese line trying to make it in another country”

“How about you Xuxi? Who are you bringing?” Ya wen ge asked

“The leader of my group and the oldest. I too have known him since trainee days. He too, one from the few that made it feel like at home through those days, Kun ge” Lucas smiles and glances a bit to Yuqi

“Are we allowed to tell each other this?” Jiani randomly asked and her question made all of them stare at each other not having any clue, “Pretend we never talked about it”

Because Yuqi needed to continue on her packing and Lucas needs to get ready to go to the airport, both excuses themselves first from the table, “Safe flight for the both of you” said Jiani and Ya wens

Both waves goodbye and head straight to the table where both of their managers is at

“You two wait here while we have a short briefing with the assistant producer. It will only be for 5 minutes or less” Yuqi’s manager offering his seat to Yuqi. Yuqi seated down in her manager’s chair and waited

“Yuci” Lucas wanting to ask Yuqi questions about Yanan more but backed out in seconds thinking it’ll make him look possessive when he shouldn’t be

“Hmm?” Yuqi turns her focus to him

“Have fun in Beijing” Lucas diverting the topic from his first intention, “Maybe one day you can be my guide when I visit there”

“I will” Yuqi smiles, “One day maybe I can”
