Drinking a hot coffee in his house the old man take a sip of it enjoying the fresh and cool taste he was looking at the TV humming a very calm music to feel relaxed, but the sudden strike of lightning made the cup nearly fall, putting it on the table he look outside! Is there a lightning storm? He thinks! How unlucky he is to hit near the house! But to his surprise, there was no thunder after it!

 

He heard the dogs outside start barging nom stop and another lightning strikes again

 

“Lightning don’t hit the same place twice!” The old man said standing and going outside his house! He look at the cemetery that he supposed to watch, and everytime the lightening hit, it hits a specific grave

 

he saw it...something coming out of it, the old man got scared he stayed shocke not daring to move from his place trying to see clearly what was that till it fully come out of the grave

 

“In the name of the god!” The man said and the dogs hide in their houses

 

with the twelve hit of the strike he could clearly see a boy standing with a black shadow behind him, not a human one, not animal, it’s something else...something like...a Devil

 

The old man saw the boy turning and looking at him seeing him moving forward to his direction, the old man run inside taking his pistol to shoot whatever come from that tomb, turning to goes out he couldn’t even had the time, because the three dogs he had outside came running and jump in him biting him...the screams of the man heard in every corner of the cemetery...but no one there...just dead...

 

Arriving to the house the dogs stoped and goes outside sitting like they didn’t just tried to kill their own master, the man was now unconscious in his blood on the ground, maybe he will live! Maybe he won’t he really don’t care...

 

Baekhyun look around till his eyes fall on a mirror he stopped looking at himself, the clothes he was wearing were very large on him now his face look different! Look smaller his body is small too but the high is the same, realizing it his own body but with no extra weight...even him hardly could remember himself in a shape like this

Moving with slowly steps around checking the house till he found a closet with some clothes, and a money that probably the old man was saving, he take the clothes and goes in a bathroom to wash himself from all the dirt on him since he made his way out from a grave, with cold water in the middle of the winter he take his shower.

 

 

Coming out he went to where the old man was sitting take the cellphone that was there and look at the date, 12 December of the next year

 

 

....time work different when you’re dead...

 

A year and months has passed already, but he can still remember the feeling of suffocating under the dirty cold water, like it was yesterday...the same day he born! The same day he died...

 

Sitting in the chair he look at the coffee cup he take it and start to drink it looking at the TV waiting the sun to rise...thinking...how should he find those who hurt him...thinking how he should end their lives...

 

 

 

 

The clock now was on 7:00 , Baekhyun stands and look at the man who didn’t move at all, without a word he left the place going outside, moving in the streets nothing has change it really look like it was yesterday, moving till he reach the bridge...the same bridge that now have some wires for safety probably afraid people would do the same as he did, moving to the school direction...his plan was first to find out who take the video it his first target, and to do that he need to enroll himself to the school and search between his classmates.

 

 

He passes by his house, standing there and looking at it! What his family did after he died? He wondered for few seconds but that doesn’t matter to him, whatever they did he doesn’t feel like he care...like his dead inside

 

Snapping out of his thoughts the door got opened and a boy stand there looking at him after a few seconds he asked “may I help you pretty boy?”

“Kai you left your lunch box!” Probably the one who talk was his mother that came to the view looking at Baekhyun “Who’s this? Your friend?”

The boy named Kai shrugs

 

Baekhyun knows that his family left the place since there is new faces here even the boy he didn’t saw him before at the town, ”i arrived today and I was looking for a room to rent, it just happened to like the neighborhood so I stopped to take a look didn’t mean to be in front of your house” he said and turn to leave the place

“Wait!” He heard the woman calling

“Mom?” The boy said

Baekhyun turn to look at them

“What I keep working to pay the rent an extra cash won’t bother” the mother said to her son

“I told you I will work” the boy replied

“We have extra room and you won’t need to work if he rent one” the mother was arguing till the boy huffs in defeat

“1000 dollars”

Glad the man in the cemetery had cash so he immediately agree “Okay!”

 

The two in front of him jaw dropped at how he accepted the too much money for just a room

“Come In then!” The mother said with a smile

 

Baekhyun shake his head a no “I need to go to the school now, I come back after!” He said putting his hand in his pocket and take out the cash giving them to the mother “you can have the day to empty things if you’re putting something there” he said and left to the school direction,

 

“Hey wait!”

 

Baekhyun turn to look at the boy named Kai coming running at his direction

“Let’s go together I can show you the way” Kai said starting to move with him, the other just nodded

“Am Kai! You?”

“Baekhyun” he replied

“So finally someone new than me! I came here 4 months ago the town is cool, the students also, people are so understanding here better than the city I lived in it before, you?”

“Am trying to be independent”

Kai nodded “I see”

Baekhyun stopped looking at a shop he was usually stopping at and dream to wear things from it but unfortunately they weren’t in his size “you can go ahead I need to do something”

 

Kai shrugs “okay see you at school”

 

Baekhyun look at him and nodded he saw him leaving and then get in the store, the seller came to him with “good morning”

 

Baekhyun didn’t even give a damn to reply he just move and start to look at some clothes

 

 

…better looks…sweet revenge….

Kai arrived to his class, and was chitchatting with his classmates, seeing Kyungsoo coming in he runs to him with happiness “Kyungsoo! Kyungsoo!”

“Good morning Kai!” Kyungsoo smiled with him and goes to his table, Kai followed him sitting next

“I met a new boy in own” Kais said with a hyped attitude

“Really? Good!”

“Yes he said he want to be independent so he came to this town and rent a room in our house, he is really good looking but his style in clothes is very stupid”

Kyungsoo laughed at how Kai was hyped about it “why you are so happy?”

Kai shrugs “I am bored of being a lonely child with his mother, so if he is a good person I may consider him as my brother! What do you think?”

Kyungsoo nodded “that sound nice, but siblings is a pain”

“Good morning” The two look at Chanyeol who came in the class and sits behind the two “do you guys heard the storm last night?”

He said and the two shrugs not knowing what he was talking about

“Weird I could clearly heard it from my room, it even hit the cemetery”

Kai huffs “I really don’t know how you could live in a neighbourhood near a cemetery I wouldn’t fall asleep I guess”

“I couldn’t sleep last night, maybe that why I heard it” Chanyeol said

 

“Students good morning” the home room teacher came in the class and the student reply a good morning

“Today you guys are having a new student, please come in” the teacher said and all the eyes were on the door to see who is coming, and he came in…with the new clothes screaming the word HOT, the style of an idol the stand of an expert, the aura of a devilish man was creeping in the place…he feel the eyes on him…like the old days…but the gaze is different…not the looks of how fat and ugly he look…another one…that he like the intention it gives

 

 

….Intentions brings a prey that have a confession….

 

 

Kai hit Kyungsoo with “its him” Kyungsoo look at him nodding but his face get gloomy hearing the name…

“my name is Byun Baekhyun!” yes he said it his full real name that made the class goes dead silence “let all get along” he said with a smirk in his face then look at the teacher “where should I sit?”

 

The teacher who was also shocked he didn’t say a word

“Sir!”

“Am sorry! But the name…” the teacher couldn’t finish his sentence “there is a seat next Park Chanyeol at the end If you don’t mind”

Baekhyun turn to look at where the teacher is pointing and his eyes land on two specific people Do Kyungsoo his Ex-best friend and Park Chanyeol his Ex-crush,

 

...saving the best for the last….

 

 looking at the empty chair he moves there and sits next to Chanyeol who was also surprised looking at him, in the past days he wish to be close this much…but now…he feels…nothing…

even after the home room teacher left, no one say a word…they were just looking at him…like he said a curse...but why not…let play along…

 

“You guys look shocked may I know why?” he asked louder seeing the students on the class

Kai turn around to him “I guess you have the same name of a dead classmate of them”

Baekhyun nodded slowly in understanding “what a coincidence but this is a bad omen” he said looking at the classmates “sickness?”

The students start whispering with each-other

“Ooh so then suicide” Baekhyun said in sarcasm looking at the back of Kyungsoo who didn’t turn around “isn’t that means one thing?”

 

Kai gulp his saliva “what?”

 

With the words he said out from his mouth a strike of lightening hits the school yard and the rain start  making everyone jump in their places and even scream in fear…

 

“Someone was responsible of his death will die tonight”
