“Why are you doing this?”

Feeling the space his standing in froze, his surrounding became all black, Baekhyun look in front of him to see his old fat self standing there looking at him

“Didn’t you like him before?”

“I did, but I have no choice!”

“What did he do?”

“He is one of the reasons why I suicide”

“What if…?”

“What?”

“What if you were wrong? Facts need prove! Proves need digging! If there is nothing to dig in then you need confession…”

“He won’t give me one! People are liars”

“His not”

“Why so sure?”

“Because one of the reasons I liked him was for his honesty! And deep down you know it, listen to your heart how it beating fast….scared”

“Honesty?”

“Are you scared?”

“No am not”

“Are scared of losing him?”

“I SAID AM NOT!”

“Baekhyun! Not everyone is bad…you heard him…he trusted you…with his own life…even if he knew you don’t trust him”

“I…”

“You lost the grip! But you know you still have the chance to take it!”

 

Baekhyun saw his old self disappearing in thin air! The place start to become normal, he saw Chanyeol falling backward, he moves down fast reaching his hand again and pulling him to the roof side,

getting back on the roof and Balancing himself Chanyeol look at Baekhyun with an angry face and a fast beating heart, he touched his heart and take a deep fast breath, then immediately grab Baekhyun hand and move to the little round window that he came out from dragging Baekhyun with him, Baekhyun did followed him till the two now were inside all the way down to the second floor,

Chanyeol stopped waiting him to go down the metal stairs and turn to look at him

“First you knew I had a phobia from high places and that was clearly obvious at the roller coaster even before it start”

Baekhyun nodded in realization thinking about it “I see! That why you were scared back then!!”

Hearing the reply Chanyeol closed his eyes trying to contain his anger nodding fast “second what was that just now?”

“What?” Baekhyun replied acting like he doesn’t know what he precisely asking about

“God damn it Baekhyun!” Chanyeol rise his voice

“God has nothing to do with this! I needed to confirm something” Baekhyun shrugs looking at the side avoiding looking at him directly

“Is that some kind of test?” Chanyeol look at him not believing what he just asked

Baekhyun smiled “and you passed” he said moving down stairs

“Are you kidding me?” Chanyeol followed him “you were about to kill me Baekhyun that not even could count”

Baekhyun shake his head “no its 3^rd floor probably just get a broken bones, or never walk again”

“I hate you” Chanyeol said frustrated but the words made Baekhyun turn and look at him with a serious face like his life is depending on the words he just said

“Do you?”

Chanyeol roll his eyes “no! I don’t! It just words! Why so serious about it?” and Baekhyun nodded, reaching down stairs the two look at Kai and Kyungsoo who were sitting at the kitchen table, and for their surprise Kyungsoo was wearing a pyjamas

Chanyeol asked “you’re spending the night here?” and Kyungsoo nodded

“We don’t know who could came again! We are going to make sure the two are safe”

Baekhyun repeated “we?”

Kyungsoo nodded again “I called your mom Chanyeol I told her that we are going to spend the night here and she screamed in happiness, you know it’s been a while don’t you”

Chanyeol nodded “let not talk about it”

Kai smiled “are you good now Baekhyun!”

Baekhyun nodded “great I just had this moment when you just need air because of what happened to you”

Kai stands and goes hugging Baekhyun “sorry Hyung! I scared you” he lose the hug and look at Chanyeol “I will get you some of my clothes and you should sleep at Baekhyun room”

Kai inform and the two screamed “WHAT!!!”

Kai look surprised at them “I won’t let you sleep outside! Mom will come home early! And hat not appropriate”

Baekhyun refuse “am not sleeping with anyone, let him sleep with you”

Kai look daggers at Baekhyun “and let my Kyungsoo sleep with you, in a double sized bed? yeah keep dreaming!”

Baekhyun look at Kyungsoo “right! I prefer this yoda”

Kyungsoo laughed “we used to call him like that” his smile faded “me and Baek, aren’t you two similar”

Baekhyun look at him “aren’t you just wanting me to be?” feeling the intense Kai just push Baekhyun way to his room with “let not start your weird sense of conversation Baekhyun its late and am tired I need to rest”

Baekhyun roll his eyes and gets in his room followed by Chanyeol, who look around at the room with “pink?”

Baekhyun smiled a fake smile “yes my favorite color, I paint it myself when I was building the house years ago”

Chanyeol just nodded understanding that he is just renting it! He felt stupid to give the comment

“I will take a shower first” Baekhyun said “and gets in the bathroom”

Roaming in the room it was pretty big, he sits in the bed waiting, then hear a knocking on the door he stands and open the door and saw Kyungsoo with some clothes in his hands and Chanyeol take them with a “thank you”

“Chanyeol” Kyungsoo called

“Yes?”

“You have any idea who did this?” he asked

Chanyeol shrugs “am not sure Kyungsoo! But Jin told me he didn’t suicide”

“What!” Kyungsoo eyes got wide opened in shock “then what happened? Accident?”

“No!” Chanyeol huffs “Eric tried to kill him”

“Eric! His best friend?” Kyungsoo didn’t believe the news

“Yeah! Remember the reason of the party? Jin was going to tell everyone he write the letter and Eric was the one who said my name back then! Also he was the one who shoot the live V3, He told Eric that they need to get justice for the dead soul to stop hunting them and knowing Eric he pretty much didn’t accept that”

Kyungsoo thought about it for seconds “then why Eric will come after Baekhyun?”

“Because he heard us at Jin place in the morning! Kai said I have doubt about Baekhyun and I think he probably wanted to confirm that” Chanyeol explain his theory

“Then we should have a talk with him” Kyungsoo said in anger “if he was the one who break in and hurt Kai I will put him in jail no matter what”

Chanyeol nodded “let talk with him at the school tomorrow” with that Kyungsoo left and Chanyeol close the door and turn finding Baekhyun standing near the bathroom door with his pyjamas and wet hair, he jumped in his place with “GOD!!”

“Not god, devil” Baekhyun said in sarcasm “so you have doubt this Eric guy after me” he nodded admitting it “you guys are fast”

“What do you mean?” Chanyeol said “you knew?”

Baekhyun look at him knowing that he said too much “fast in accusing someone!”

“Ooh!” Chanyeol nodded looking at the bathroom “my turn” passing by Baekhyun he gets in the bathroom feeling the temperature is normal “did you shower with cold water” Chanyeol said not believing it, and Baekhyun turn to look at him nodding!

“Are you crazy we are in the middle of December what are you thinking?” Chanyeol almost yells but Baekhyun just shrugs, frustrated he closed the bathroom door and gets in to take a shower

 

Baekhyun look at the bed taking a pillow then move to the closet and take some extra sheets there putting them on the ground “better”

…having fun!...

Baekhyun roll his eyes “now you’re here?”

…am always here…I helped you taking care of Eric dead body didn’t i?...

“Then now we talk!” Baekhyun look at the window seeing his reflection on the glass, it was all black like something else was standing there, something bigger than his size

…I was watching you…

“And what! You like what you saw?”

…some yes! Other no!...

“Am curious about the ‘no’ part”

…your weak self is trying to come out of the darkness, and if it did you sooner will be dead again…

“So you’re going to kill me?”

…not me! You…

“What do you mean?”

…do whatever you want just make sure to have your part of the deal…

Baekhyun hear the words he was about to reply but he felt the bathroom doors got opened he turn to look at Chanyeol who came out with a towel on his head wearing Kai clothes,

Chanyeol look around “who you were talking with?”

Baekhyun immediately answered “phone” Chanyeol nodded and his eyes passed by the window, he felt like he saw something so he immediately look back but nothing was there “weird” he said and take the towel then look at the ground, but before he could go he saw Baekhyun going there and siting on them

“Are you giving me the bed?” Chanyeol had to ask

“Yes!” Baekhyun answered and take his phone looking at it

“We can share it big! I don’t mind!” Chanyeol tried to be nicer because he thought it would be hard to be in the same room with him

Baekhyun look at him “I mind! Also it better here it’s not like I didn’t sleep on woods before!” he said remembering the coffin

Chanyeol throw the towel on the bed and goes down siting at the ground sheets in front of him

“What your deal Byun Baekhyun!” Chanyeol asked

“What?” Baekhyun look surprised at him and his actions

“You show up out of nowhere! Your name is like our dead friend! Your birthday is the same! You came to live in his house! And surprisingly you know it better then Kai himself! You talk like him! Even Kyungsoo dog thought you’re him! Weird things start happening to those who hurt the other Baekhyun! Now I know I had a nickname and guess who was using it! And I know this has nothing to do with the subject but you seriously having a very strong arms that you easily pulled me from falling and helped me before saving my life, but I saw it the tear you had it was black I swear I saw it and this” Chanyeol said taking Baekhyun hand and opening his palm to see the unusual cut in it, that still black, Baekhyun immediately pull his hand to his side, how he is an idiot to forget about it! It doesn’t hurt that one of the reasons how!

“So if am not mistaken and get a lot of weirdness vibe and you may I am crazy here I say that you wasn’t talking in the phone and I will ask you to show me your last call” Chanyeol said and stop looking directly at him, Baekhyun didn’t answered he was just looking back thinking…what he should do…he can give excuses to all of this…but why his having a second thought?

 

“I said I trust you Baekhyun” he heard Chanyeol saying to him with a very soft expression “maybe you don’t trust me! But I do! And whatever you will say now at this moment I will believe it with my deepest sense of heart! I swear if you said you have nothing to do with it I will rust your words and I won’t ask you again! Because you’re my friend Byun Baekhyun! Like it or not”

 

Bump…Bump…Bump…

 

Baekhyun felt his heart start to beat again, but this time not scared, not frightened, not just beating because of the close distance, it was a beating that give the feel of…secure, safe and…honesty.

Should he deny! Should he tell the truth? What he should do? Those eyes that looking back at him…why he can’t stop looking back…why he…he…

 

“Find me who was at the FatByun V3 except Eric, and I will tell you what you want”

 

He said it…he didn’t deny it…

Chanyeol eyes got wide open, shocked, surprised, stunned he didn’t know what to do

“What I can say for now that I knew Byun Baekhyun but if you want to know everything find me the one who act like the priest! The one who lied at Baekhyun to throw himself from the bridge and don’t tell anyone about it! No one, not even Kai or Kyungsoo”
