Knocking in his door again Kai was worried is he mad at him because he take him with him last night? He keep knocking yesterday but he didn’t open the door for him so he decide to give him a space that he didn’t could give anymore and automatically wake up in the morning running down stairs and knocking again, but this time the doors opened with a smiling Baekhyun “good morning Kai!” He then close the room door and was heading to the outside

 

Kai look at him weirdly “good morning so you’re not mad anymore?”

 

Baekhyun turn and look at him “why should I?”

“Because of yesterday maybe! I keep knocking but you gave me the cold shoulder and didn’t even say go away!” Kai explain

Baekhyun know maybe he came when he was out so he tried to explain “Ooh first I slept when I came back home and my sleep is a little bit like a dead person second why should I blame you on someone else words?”

Kai pouted “I thought you are mad! But wait where are you going?”

Baekhyun rise and eyebrow “I rent a room not the kitchen am going to have my breakfast outside!”

“That not happening” Kai mother come to the view “you two clean your hands and sit on the table breakfast is ready”

“Yes mom!” Kai said with happiness

“No need Mrs.Kim I will...” but Baekhyun couldn’t finish his Kai mother smiled

“Baekhyun to the table I don’t like people who refuse my orders”

Baekhyun open his eyes wide at her words “yes ma’am”

 

Sitting on the table the three eat their breakfast Kai mother was talking about several situations happened in the hospital and Kai was so active with her the two must live long without a father around that obvious from the chemistry they have

“So Baekhyun tell me where is your family!” The mother asked taking the intention to him

Baekhyun look at her and then at Kai “i don’t know” he didn’t lie because he really don’t know where they go and what happened to them,

“What do you mean by that?” Mrs.Kim asked

Baekhyun shrugs “how can I explain that! I slept and wake up and they were gone and I never search for them”

“Oh my dear! They abandoned you?” The mother face was shocked and sad, Kai also

Baekhyun smiled “no..not like they wanted to! It complicated! But maybe I will search for them someday”

He saw Kai mother taking his hand “my house is opened for you”

Baekhyun immediately put his hand under the table he saw the weird look on her face from his actions but he just replied like it nothing “thank you! But probably I won’t stay longer than a month” he look at his hand to check but there was nothing there

Kai look at him with surprise “why!”

“People don’t like you here? If you have problems at the school tell me” Mrs Kim said

“No people like him” Kai said “He is so popular even if he just came to the school everyone want to talk to him! Except my friend who’s being bad for no reason!”

“I guess you should stay away of them if they are bullying him” his mother said

“Baekhyun I talk to the two yesterday when you left! They are just sensitive because you are similar to the dead guy” Kai tried to explain but Baekhyun know from his words that he should be more careful maybe all the hate he is taking out on them for nothing in their point of view is suspicious! Should he act friendly? Maybe if he do act like a friend and get close to them, the stab he will give them from the back would be worse! Much worse just like they did to him

“It’s okay! I don’t mind” Baekhyun said “I guess people just don’t like people sometimes for no reason and since I have the similarities they have reasons, maybe I was harsh on them too because I could become sometimes really rude”

Kai smiled hearing the words “so you’re going to forgive him?”

Baekhyun nodded “sure he was angry about that guy Jackson of course I will”

Kai hit the table “I know you have a big heart! Can I hug you?”

Baekhyun shake his head “em no! No touching! I have OCD”

Kai mother open his eyes wide “oh am sorry my dear I didn’t know and touched you”

“What is OCD?” Kai asked

“Obsessive compulsive disorder” his mother explain

Kai eyes got wide open screaming in “from people! I swear I took a shower this morning!”

“It not like that! I didn’t mean your dirty or something!” Baekhyun said

And the two start laughing at him, Kai get a message he look at it “em! Chanyeol want to meet us!”

“Us!” Baekhyun repeated

“Yes I asked him yesterday to apologize to you maybe he will!” Kai explains

“Okay!” Baekhyun didn’t mind

 

“That good! How about inviting him and Kyungsoo for lunch?” His mother asked

“Good idea!” Kai said texting Chanyeol back he got a reply “they will be here in an hour!”

 

“Perfect!” Mrs Kim said “now both of you if you don’t mind cleaning the backyard the rain really makes it dirty”

 

Kai nodded “good! Let go since you have OCD you will like cleaning things!” He said jokingly

“Haha!” Baekhyun tried to laugh in sarcasm “move”

 

 

The two go out of the back yard it was really a mess Baekhyun look at the little basketball court that he always was playing at it with Kyungsoo, he was good at basketball ball but never had the chance to go in a team because of his weight! Taking the ball he throw it and easily score

 

Kai clap “wow! Let have a match when we clean! The loser will wash the lunch dishes”

Baekhyun agree knowing he will win for sure, cleaning the place it was easily for him since he always do that, knowing where to put things back at the garage, his family really doesn’t want anything to let them remember him since they left everything behind! How funny knowing your family avoiding your memory! Are they ashamed he suicide! Did they hate him because he never say goodbye? Maybe...everything is possible.

 

Taking the ball in his hand Baekhyun saw Kai standing in front of him for a defensive but no he doesn’t need to even move because he could easily hit a triple and yes he did!

“What! That unfair?” Kai refuse “left have just 2points game”

Baekhyun nodded “for making it fair” he take the ball and give it to Kai “shoot a 3 point”

Kai take the ball and try his luck, but end up hitting the edge

“Damn am bad at 3points! Okay let start! Out of 10” Kai said and the two start to play the game Baekhyun was easily avoiding him and taking the ball even if he was trying to get any skinship all along

Failing all his shoots Kai screamed in frustration “THAT UNFAIR YOU SO GOOD EVEN IF YOU SHORT”

Baekhyun smiled “well how defeating be like! Because I never did!”

 

“Really should be join!”

 

The two turn to see Kyungsoo and Chanyeol at the entrance

 

“He lost so he already going to do dishes” Baekhyun said

“Afraid you will lose!” Kyungsoo said trying to

Baekhyun know that know what he is trying to do, Kyungsoo is a good player but the problem is even when he was fat he was winning because playing with Kyungsoo make him know his moves

Baekhyun throw the ball to Kyungsoo a sign that he accept “the loser will answer a question without a lie”

Kyungsoo nodded “fair enough I don’t have anything to hide!”

Baekhyun smirk “let see about that!”

Chanyeol interfere “since that the condition can we have it a 2v2?”

Baekhyun nodded “Probably you want to be in Kyungsoo side for questioning”

Chanyeol nodded too going in front of him taking off his Jacket with a sarcasm laugh “I guess you know more than I expected!”

“Trying to show your muscles!” Baekhyun mocks

“You like them?” Chanyeol said catching the ball thrown by Kyungsoo

“Sad you can’t show your brain, but it’s okay am sure there isn’t”

 

“And this how they started again 3 points doesn’t count boys” Kai said standing in front of Kyungsoo

And Kyungsoo smiled shaking his head “This two”

The match starts and Baekhyun easily take the ball from Chanyeol but without even going to the basket he throw the ball and score

“I said 3points doesn’t count!” Kai said looking at Baekhyun

“It’s not 3pts his inside the line” Kyungsoo smiled thinking how was his dead friend good at the 3pts and always do that

“Come on brainless bring it on!” Baekhyun said in mockery taking the ball and giving it to Kai “let make it fair!”

“Ya!! Am in your side don’t say that!” Kai pouted then start to play but Baekhyun know Kyungsoo will take the ball and aim for a 2pts immediately, with fast steps seeing how he jump to score, even Chanyeol could stop how fast he was running and hitting the ball from between Kyungsoo hands, the ball hit the floor and bounce Baekhyun was fast to take it and score again

“Whaaat! Are you playing with some professional team!?” Kai screamed not believing how he did that

Baekhyun smirk looking at the shocked Kyungsoo and Chanyeol “years ago and it was for kids” he lied because he should start to make them believe he had a past life don’t he?

“We were taking it easy on you!” Chanyeol said and Baekhyun smirked “you think I don’t know! Your muscles can say it all” He knows how the two are good one in the school and one in this yard

 

The match continue and yes it was more hard because in general it was a 2v1 the match ends when Kai mother call for lunch, Baekhyun could win it with 10 point different, he felt so light, he could run and jump easily and high, that really feels good

 

Kai screamed “WE WIN!” and Kyungsoo and Chanyeol admit it trying to take their breath,

 

 

“Kids clean your hands” the mother said and Baekhyun goes inside then to the bathroom to do so leaving the door open he wash his hand then rise his sleeve to see a place that was hurting him must be someone touched him during the game because the spot was more like brown this time! so a gentle touch like Kai mother did to him early, doesn’t do anything but a hit may become like this, but why?

“What’s that?” Chanyeol voice heard from the front of the door and Baekhyun immediately put his sleeve back looking at him surprise “nothing”

Chanyeol goes in “that not nothing! Why your skin is like that! Is it because of the roller coaster?”

Baekhyun huffs trying to pass him

 

“Baekhyun!”

 

Baekhyun turn to look at him with “yes!”

“Am sorry for what I said yesterday!” Chanyeol said trying to look anywhere but him

Baekhyun nodded then turn back wanting to get out

“That’s it! Shouldn’t you be sorry too” Chanyeol said and Baekhyun stopped looking back at him

“I never said I was wrong! It was an opinion not a fact! So apologies accepted” with that he gets out going to the lunch table the four were eating talking and chitchatting in a different subjects, while Baekhyun was just munching his food and listening to them,

It was obvious how he didn’t say a word, till Mrs. Kim talked to him “Baekhyun you should participate more in group talk”

Baekhyun shrugs “am fine like that”

“Okay! But learn to be active more! It’s my shift time I will go! Keep the place clean while am out okay!” Kai mother said and left the four sitting on the table

 

But not too much longer, Chanyeol phone ring and the three look at him answering “yes Jin?” Chanyeol answered “What do you mean by that?” He said standing from his place in shock hearing the one in the other line speaking “which hospital?” He asked then hang up

“what? what going on?” Kyungsoo asked

“Mark had a car accident an hour ago!”

Baekhyun was surprised hearing the news, that wasn’t part of the plan! “Is he alright?” he asked

“I don’t know! i will go and check on him”

“Should we go with you?” Kai asked

 

“Am not going” The three look at how Kyungsoo said that dead serious “he deserve it”

“Kyungsoo!”

“What Chanyeol?” Kyungsoo was angry “you saw the conversation between him and Jackson”

“And you saw the account!” Chanyeol replied “so that must be fake someone trying to scare us and obviously now get rid of him”

“Maybe you should go alone Chanyeol” Kai said “if Kyungsoo didn’t go I won’t”

Chanyeol nodded leaving the house without any other word, Kyungsoo huffs “I will leave too!”

Kai stand “let me take you home” and Kyungsoo accepted

 

Letting him alone at the house Baekhyun think about it! A car accident immediately after the scandal! What a good coincidence

Arriving to the hospital Chanyeol meet his friend there with Mark parents “what happened?”

“nothing big just a drunk car his totally fine” Mark father said and his classmate take Chanyeol a little far away “man Mark is fine I called you because something crazy happened yesterday”

“What?” Chanyeol asked

“we were at Jackson house waiting him to appear but suddenly the lights start to go off and there was a knocking at the door I open the door but no one was there so we all go out searching thinking someone prank us then mark pointed at Jackson window room the lights were still on someone was there so we hurried to see what and left mark and Jae out there the room was empty man! It was empty!” the guy said start to get frightened

“Maybe it some reflection” Chanyeol tried to reason

“No man! You see the picture at the Facebook page?”

“What about it!” he asked

“It was captured from Jackson phone at the same time and we found the FatByun account online in it, am going crazy man! How is that even possible we were there at the house, no one came in and no one goes out?”

Chanyeol now also start to freak out! What going on? First he thought Baekhyun have hand in this but no he was with him for the past hours and still Mark had a car accident, he then hear the guy saying

 

“Mark was so upset the comments the calls, it made him crazy, so he wanted to…”

 

He stopped talking seeing the light goes off and then comes back, the two look at each other but then at the same moment they heard Mark screaming from his room, running inside behind the doctors, Mark was screaming like a lunatic

“HIS HERE!! AM SORRY!! AM SORRY B..BE...”

Trying to calm him down he stopped moving in a sudden and the doctors immediately start to do a CPR on him, the nurses make everyone get out, Chanyeol goes out and sits on a chair his heart was beating fast seeing a classmate like that

“Man his here!” his classmate who was talking to him start to shake in fear “we did wrong he will kill us all Chanyeol! I write the letter his soul will hunt me”

Chanyeol look at him surprised standing immediately and grabbing him from his jacket in anger “WHY DID YOU DO IT! WHY DID YOU USE MY NAME?”

But the other didn’t respond he just fall on the ground crying his heart out

 

 

Looking at the two from the end of the hallway, Baekhyun smiled a very satisfying smile
