*Flashback*

 

 

The clock was almost 9 The loud music was on, the students were everywhere dancing! Screaming laughing, Kyungsoo come in the house with Minho and other class mates who immediately start to search for something to drink, Jin house is so big! He even have a very big yard and a swimming pool, 

 

Trying to be social he start to blend in easily time passes fast in a party but it’s the first time he is somewhere without Baekhyun, it felt...lonely! Very lonely even if the place is crowded with people he know and topics he can easily talk in

 

Jin came to where Kyungsoo was “I can’t see your friend around where is he?” He asked knowing that the two never get separated

Kyungsoo shake his head “no one invited him” he said screaming because of the loud music “I came alone!”

Jin nodded “cool!” He then move to the outside “come Kyungsoo let have fun outside!” Kyungsoo nodded moving with him where he met Mark and some others Minho come running taking off his jacket with a scream and jump into the water splashing everyone around with it

“Come Kyungsoo!” Minho screamed and Kyungsoo refuse immediately Moving aside 

“Come on!” Jin tried to cheer “Soo! Soo! Soo!”

 

Kyungsoo laughed and Minho splash the water in his direction “it waaarm I swear!” Kyungsoo refused continuously

 

“IT’S A POOL PARTY EVERYONE” Jin screamed 

 

And most of them start to jump in the big pool

 

“Come on jump!” Mark came near him and start to push him wanting to drag him in the water 

“NO!!” Kyungsoo said in anger pushing Mark away and the action made his drink spilled on Kyungsoo t-shirt, and Mark start to laugh at him with “nicely done buddy!”

 

Feeling embarrassed at the now all dirty shirt students around start laughing at him, he hate the moment when he decide to come to the party! Now everyone will be laughing at him in the school! 

 

“Stop it Mark!” 

 

Kyungsoo look at the one who stand for him coming out from the pool topples making everyone stop laughing, Jin goes and hit Mark with “idiot!” Then smiled at Chanyeol “He can use my room I have plenty of shirts there” 

 

Chanyeol look at Kyungsoo with a smile “this way!”

 

Following him all the way to the room Kyungsoo felt happy inside, because he stand for him? No of course not because he thought he did it because he met Baekhyun at 9! I mean why he will stand for him if they never talked not even once! There must be a reason! No! And the only reason he can think of was Baekhyun love letter

 

Getting inside Jin bedroom Chnayeol goes to the closet and take out a towel first putting it on his head and take a shirt giving it to Kyungsoo with “here!” 

 

Kyungsoo smiles and thank him for it taking it and taking off his shirt to change it but before he can wear anything he was surprised hearing Chanyeol saying “FatByun V1???” 

 

Kyungsoo immediately ask ‘what’ and hear a video being played he moves to see what on the video and his brain had a serious shock just looking at it with wide open eyes, even the shirt in his hand falls 

 

“What the ?” Chanyeol said “Who did this?” 

Back to his mind Kyungsoo take the phone immediately from Chanyeol to see the people who watched and yet he saw the name ‘Byun Baekhyun’, he gave Chanyeol the phone and take his own start to dial Baekhyun phone number, but again before he get the call Chanyeol said “there is one other after and a live one airing now!”

Kyungsoo said a shocked “what!” 

“The other being posted half an hour ago!” Chanyeol inform clicking on the live one watching it

Dialing Baekhyun in a video call he saw him answering open seeing the other face Kyungsoo start immediately to speak  “Baekhyun’aah!  Are you okay! I didn’t see the videos earlier are you okay!” He said but the loud voice from a church clock near him didn’t let Baekhyun hear him

“I read in the comment they told him to jump from a bridge” Chanyeol said looking at the video call,

Kyungsoo look shocked at Chanyeol then look back at Baekhyun video call

“Baekhyun don’t jump they are doing a prank on you live! Baekhyun!” Kyungsoo said but he saw the phone being slipped from Baekhyun hands 

“Oh my god!” Chanyeol said looking at the live where the two were still recording and they recorded him jumping from the bridge, seeing the view Kyungsoo just run outside like that topless calling the police...

 

 

 

*end of the flashback*

 

 

“I stopped talking to anyone first! I went in a shocking state till Chanyeol come to my house one day” Kyungsoo was crying his heart out on Kai’s chest near Baekhyun grave “he told me his feelings about Baekhyun and I start to cry and told him about everything we did together and how he had a crush on him too, I heard Chanyeol was also broken and stopped being the popular happy virus, so we became friends because we couldn’t trust anyone else”

 

Kai look at Kyungsoo “calm down! Soo!”

 

Kyungsoo shake his head “my best friend died thinking I betrayed him!” He said in sorrow “twice Kai! TWICE! and I even didn’t get the chance to hug him to tell him am sorry I wasn’t there! To tell him I hated it when he wasn’t with me! to tell him that I missed him!” Sobbing in the other chest Kai huffs trying to stay cool and not cry with him, looking at the grave 

“Maybe He is listening! Somewhere”

 

 

 

>>> after -  the court <<<

 

 

Chanyeol didn’t say a word didn’t defend himself at all...yes he killed him, and he admitted it the first time they asked him...so why bothering...just give him a death sentence and let him Rest In Peace! But no! They give him a 20 years sentence...informing that the ID of the victim is still unknown!

The judge inform that he will be transformed tomorrow to the center Jail in the capital and Chanyeol didn’t even matter with him now! He can see his mother and little brother crying next to his uncle. and his father is no where to be seen, yet he have all the right! he wished his mother did the same.

 

Paying the last visite in the police station before he goes tomorrow morning he asked them to forget about him with a bow then didn’t say other word, his mother left crying with her little son, and his uncle just refused with “I won’t and you know it” 

Kyungsoo and Kai came in after they didn’t say much Kyungsoo was angry at him killing his best friend even if it an unbelievable story but also he couldn’t leave him because he didn’t when he needed him a year ago.

Kai who was trying to comfort Chanyeol who didn’t say much back just ended up asking “eat well and try to not have fights”

 

With that all of them left and Chanyeol sits there alone, thinking about him, how he died in his arms, how he couldn’t hate him even when he stabbed him to the heart, how he said he forgive him before he take his last breath...

>>> midnight <<<

 

 

...I saw fear...I felt regrets...I felt more then I wanted...and I like it...everyone who did bad to you...paid...you cleared the list...and I enjoyed it...

Inhaling the air with a shocked state, starting to cough and cough, he look at his surroundings...it was the cemetery...the shock still enfold his mind he turn to see the stone grave reading his name on it...

 

he was alive...

 

again...

 

 

Hearing the dogs barking, with a hard breathing he look and saw them coming to his direction, he hardly tried to stand, his chest was hurting! His body was hurting like he just got strike by lightning...maybe he did!

 

“In the name of the god!” 

 

He heard Chanyeol uncle voice saying and now he can see him, coming in the dark, he couldn’t stand more so he fall on the ground! He didn’t feel this pain since he was

 

A human! 

 

And if the deal is done he is now! That why his in this state!

 

He saw the man leaning down to his level on the ground saying “you son of the devil! This is the first time am glad to see a dead man alive”

 

Baekhyun look at the man with nodding and saying between his hard breathing and coughs “d..id I miss mu...ch!”

 

The uncle laughed not believing it “this time! Glad it just two of days!”

 

 

 

 

>>> the morning <<<

 

 

 

 

Chanyeol was waiting his turn to be sent to jail, they informed him that he should be sent at 10 in the morning! But the time was 3pm now! Few minutes later he saw his lawyer and his uncle coming in with a policeman

Chanyeol stand knowing it’s the time, he look at his uncle! How this man is persisting, he doesn’t know that he didn’t want to see him? The policeman open the jail door and Chanyeol raised his two arms to be handcuffed but the words the policeman said made him surprised 

 

“No man! Your free to go!”

 

“What!” Chanyeol looked shocked at his lawyer and uncle

His uncle come to him hugging him “Uncle! Why!” Chanyeol asked and the lawyer ordered to leave the place first 

 

Getting out Chanyeol didn’t believe what happening did he bribe the judges! No it’s a killing crime he can’t do that? He stopped in the doors asking again “what going on?”

 

The lawyer said in a mixed laugh and shocked  “you can’t believe what happened!” He said in excitement “your uncle find that the guy you killed is still alive! He came to me at the night! I was fast to get the paper the d...”

But Chanyeol didn’t bother to hear the rest from the excited lawyer he just grab his uncle jacket not believing what he heard “Baekhyun alive?” He asked

His uncle nodded “the same way it happened first it did happened yesterday! but with no devil this time am sure”

Chanyeol close his eyes trying to contain what ever he felt! Happiness! Relief! Shock! Regret! “Where is he?” He said opening them again and looking at the two

His uncle shrugs “he cleared your name in the court since the morning he was there! I told him to come with me but he refused saying he doesn’t deserve you, we came by my car so we left him not more the 20 minutes ago”

 

“What!” Chanyeol said disappointed of the idea he had! He should be the one who doesn’t deserve him!! He should be the person who ask forgiveness because he killed him! “You don’t know where he went?”

His uncle shake his head “I asked! But he said asking for forgiveness then left”

 

Chanyeol repeated “forgiveness!” He said thinking about it then realizing who he should go to 

 

 

 

 

>>> Kyungsoo house <<<

 

 

 

 

Baekhyun arrived at the door, wearing a cap and a hoodie to not get recognized by the people around, he stopped to take his breath, gosh he get used to all the devil power inside him where he wasn’t getting tired at all! Now who said thin people didn’t get tired? Yes him when he was walking around with Kyungsoo back at the days of him as a fat person

 

The door got opened and Kyungsoo mother was shocked “K...K...” she didn’t finish her sentence because now she was already on the ground fainting 

“Oh my god!” Baekhyun move inside to her “aunt are you okay?” He asked trying to wake her ! Well yes this is the usual reaction he should have from normal people that why he hide his face. the dog come to him and start to his face “Baeksoo stop!” 

 

“Baekhyun!”

 

Baekhyun turn to see Kyungsoo standing in a state of shock, he stands and look at his mother “she faint! I didn’t mean it! She saw me and...” but Baekhyun didn’t finish his sentence because he saw a Kyungsoo moving slowly to him, standing in front of him, touching his arm slowly “your real!” 

Baekhyun just nodded at the question, but that was enough for Kyungsoo to hug him tightly and start crying on the hug with “Am sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you! Am sorry! I wasn’t there with you!”

Baekhyun just hugged him back “no Kyungsoo I should be the one asking for forgiveness because I doubt in our friendship” 

Kyungsoo lose the hug and wipe his tears “there is nothing to ask forgiveness for!” He said and hug him again the hug last for more then 10 minutes, till Baekhyun said “your mother Kyungsoo!”

Kyungsoo realize the situation and said “oh!” Moving to see her state 

“I will be out of town from now on!” Baekhyun said looking down at Kyungsoo 

“What?” Kyungsoo stand back in shock “no!”

Baekhyun shrugs “people here know am dead! I can’t live with that!”

“I don’t care! We have each back other remember? That was the promise! To stay together! Don’t break it!”

Baekhyun laughed “I didn’t break it! that was with ‘till the day we die’ at the end! and guess what? I did die!”

“Your leaving me for good!” Disappointment was all in Kyungsoo face but Baekhyun hit his head “no idiot! There is something called cellphone! And also finish your high school and wherever I was come with me we will be a very good room mates in the university” 

Kyungsoo nodded with happiness hugging his friend again wanting to stay like that

 

“Your mom!”

Baekhyun shake his head with a laughter closing the door of the house he take a breath that he wanted to do for so long! he didn’t feel regret on the things he did! Maybe that one of the things he earned from having a deal with the devil, he should go to the bus station, glad Chanyeol uncle helped him in the financial matter without hesitation! Saying the name in his head Baekhyun was feeling sad for him! For the things he made him experienced! Killing a human you love by a human is a major one than killing one as a devil substitute! And even as one he couldn’t do it! He couldn’t kill the one he loved!

 

 

 

“BAEKHYUN!!”

 

Hearing his name being called by a deep voice, Baekhyun put his hoodie fast and start to walk with fast foot steps hoping for a certain someone to think his mistaking 

 

“Don’t run from me!” 

 

He heard the voice more closer, Chanyeol must be running to his direction ‘oh crap!’ That was his first idea before he being turn out forcefully to meet the tall giant that immediately and with force taking his hoodie and his cap off, oh now he feels how the other is strong because it hurt him where he was clenching his fist in his arm

 

“Am so sorry!” Chanyeol said waiting the other respond but Baekhyun was just looking at him

“BAEKHYUN AM SORRY! FORGIVE ME!” Chanyeol scream in anger

Baekhyun snapping out of his dazzling self “I already said I forgive you!” 

 

“THEN WHY ARE YOU LEAVING ME!” Chanyeol couldn’t calm down 

“I killed people Chanyeol!” Baekhyun said gritting his teeth 

“Me too!” Chanyeol easily replied “yours disappeared and mine came back to life! we are even can we be together now?” 

“Aren’t you crazy?” Baekhyun was shocked this guy never give up on him!

“About you yes!” Chanyeol replied “please be with me! Let’s start again! I can’t live a single second without you!” He almost begged

“I can’t live here anymore Chanyeol!” Baekhyun just shrugs taking Chanyeol hand from his arms 

“I didn’t say here! I will go with you to the end of the world! I will start a new life with you no one will know about us! Just my family of course because...” Chanyeol said kneeling on one knee “Byun Baekhyun!”

 

Baekhyun eyes got wide open looking around “what are you doing stand up!”

“Am crazy about you” Chanyeol didn’t give a damn “Am still young to propose but can you be with me forever and marry me in the future when I have a good job and a stable life?”

 

Baekhyun look at him! What he can do? he loves him too! And if he willing to leave his life for him! That a dream of anyone who had a crush on someone forever, so he smiled a very happy smile nodding “I will”

Chanyeol smiled happily standing and hugging him he grab his face with his two palm and lean down to be near to his face and before he could touch that lips again...

 

“Baekhyun!! Chanyeol!!”

 

The two turn to see a shocked Kai standing, Chanyeol huffs for the second interruption well damn when he will get the Chance?

 

But Baekhyun smiled at Kai then look back at Chanyeol ”Where were we?” Then he tiptoe to be in his level! And Chanyeol helped him putting his arms around his waist and finally the two

 

 

Kissed!
