Amber was laughing victoriously as she jumped up and around while Top slumped defeatedly on his sofa. Amber let out a chuckle when she saw Top covering his face obviously sulking due to their recent activitiy. Amber then sat next to him with a plop, still grinning widely when Top stole a glace to her and continue to sulk.

"Awwwww come on...don't be like this. You know that I'm everything you're not..." Amber purred and Top flinched a little with her low pitch voice.   

"I still remember that you wanted to teach me how these things works...but in the end...I guess you're the one who need to be taught...." Amber murmured. 

"Amber. Stop it. It's not funny. Go away. Shoo," was all he said while closing his eyes.

"Oh come on Top...it's fair and square....you know how it is...hooneeeeyyy," and the way Amber rolled his new nick-name-just-to-pissed-him-off made him feel 'excited' somehow.

"It's just a coincidence Amber. You're just lucky. I-I'm actually giving you a chance since you are a girl and all," he reason with her but then gulp in nervousness as Amber scooted nearer to him.

"Honeyyyy...you know it's not true. Since you were saying how great you are, I guess now you know that I'm actually...much more...better...than you...in this...kind... of ...game," Amber whispered  and stopped herself from giggling as she saw Top's ears turned beet red.

She was enjoying a little bit too much rubbing salt on his shattered pride and see him squirm uncomfortably but too oblivious that the way she treated him is as if she was seducing him. With her husky voice and close proximity with him, Top was holding in his every cells and muscles to ignore the feeling of wanting to pinned Amber on his sofa and kiss her roughly.

"Urghhh...stop it Amber. If not, I swear to God I'll french kiss you...." Top replied as he look at her from the corner of his eyes.

Amber sat up straight and shut . In normal days with him, she would just scrapped his warning and continue teasing him but this time, she could sense an underlying meaning from his words. Not only that, when she realized their close proximity, she couldn't help but blush a little and felt her heart thumping a bit faster than usual. For the first time, she feel 'unsafe' to be with him.

Sensing her sudden change, Top turned to her and look at her with concern.

"Amber, are you okay?" he asked softly.

"N-Nothing. I-I'm fine! Yeah, I'm totaly fine! Come on, let's continue the game! I know I'm gonna win again this time!" she replied with a nervous laugh.

Top frowned and turned till he face her sides.  

"Liar..." 

"N-No, I'm not!" 

"See, you're lying...tell me Amber, what's wrong?" he asked again.

"I told you it's nothing," she replied avoiding his gaze on her.

"Amber, i know you're uncomfortable now. Why? Did I do something wrong? Don't you like spending time with me?" and then muttered softly 'Don't you like me?' as he thought Amber couldn't have heard him. But damn he was wrong. Amber widened her eyes when she caught on his words. She sighed and ruffled her hair in frustration.

"That's not it Top. The thing is, I'm feeling too comfortable to be here more than my own room, even this is the first time I've been here, thanks to you. And no, you didn't do anything wrong at all. In fact, everything is perfect. It's just that it feels like I owe you big time for bringing me here and having so much fun. I just don't know what to give you in return," she said as she looked at him, smiling softly.

Top couldn't help smiling widely hearing her words. With her cute smile and her sincerity, he couldn't control himself any longer.

"Then be with me..." he said softly.

Amber chuckled and lightly punched his shoulder.

"I am here. I'm always here for you. Tell me Top, since we become friends, I never leave you alone, didn't I?" she asked playfully.

"Hmmm..let me see...the fact that I always hang around you, well most of the time plus...I even ditched my practice time to be with you...hmmmm yepp, you sure never leave me alone," he replied and pouting a bit just to show off his effort to be with her.

Amber frowned a bit as if thinking of something when the realization hits her. She was aware now that most of the time it was Top who found a way to be around her. She felt really guilty and bit her lip when she remembered that she only played small role in their friendship. Top on the other hand smiled victorously knowing he had played his card well. Now Amber will surely tried to compensate his 'effort'.

"Top, you're right, I'm sorry...but I promise you that whenever you need me, anytime on anyday and wherever I am, I'll come back for you. I swear that I'll come back for you. You have to know that," she said with eyes pleading him to understand.

"Then I need you to be with me tomorrow. If you can't be with me, then bring me with you. Please Amber?" he asked softly.

Amber widened her eyes and blushed furiously trying to resist his charm. Top was caressing her face and at the same time watching her intently, tring to make her agree with his plan. Amber was loss at words. She wanted to tell him she couldn't bring him with her but at the same time she couldn't break her promise with him. But looking back at his pleading eyes, Amber made her decision.

"Fine...I'll bring you along with me but you need to stay as far as possible from the place. Understood?" she said firmly. 

Without answering her, Top smiled happily and leaned in to kiss her forehead, her cheek and her nose. Amber was left dumbfounded by his bold action but Top continued showering her with small kisses and finally stopped when nearing her lips.

"Amber...thank you," he whispered slowly.

In a jolt, Amber woke up from her trance and quickly stood up while averting her eyes somewhere else other than the guy sitting on the sofa. 

"I-I I'm calling the nights. Ahhh I feel so tired suddenly. I-I'm going to the room now! See you tomorrow morning Top!" she almost shouted and stormed off to one of the guest room hurriedly.

At the same time, Top couldn't help but chuckled as he saw her flushed face moving past him. He then let out a serene smile, feeling content knowing Amber will always be there for him. Her loyalty earned his respect the most but ...her sincerity that made him fall for her...hard. In fact, he had problem controlling himself throughout their interraction, which lead him proposing to her indirectly. But unfortunately the said girl was too naive to know his intention. He smirked when he remembered her reply to his 'proposal' asking her to be with him. Darn that girl and her innocence.

"Amber...you and the things you do to me...and the things you made me do for you..." and he closed his eyes sighing softly.

Amber on the other hand was blushing furiously and tried to calm down as her heart was beating fast than the normal rate behind the closed door. She had already come in terms with her feelings towards Top, but she was unprepared with his bold actions just now. As she held her hands to her chest trying to  calm down herself, Amber lips started to formed a smile. In the end, she began to acknowledge his feelings towards her and knew that if Top continue to kiss her on her lips, she will just let it be. Out of a sudden, her mind drifted to the place she needed to bring Top along.

"Chris...." and her beautiful smile vanished from her prety face....
