Junmyeon himself didn’t know what makes him agreed on Yifan suggestion in having dinner in his house. But here he is, sitting in one of the counter chair. Yifan was standing on the other side of the counter, doing his best to make the steak that he promised to Junmyeon. Face full of confident as if he’s a master in doing it, just like a true chef. Yifan look up as he feels the stare was too much to handle. He cleared his throat as to lighten the silence awkwardness, “So, mnmm I’m still surprised that you took up my offered in having dinner in my house.” 

Junmyeon smiles sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Well, I’m even surprised by my own answer too…”, he mumbled under his breath. Yifan chuckled as he caught his words. He shakes his head. “You can wait in living room though. Sitting on that stool for too long might be tiring.” Junmyeon nodded as he feels by doing so will lessen the awkwardness between them. “Then, I’ll wait in the living room.” He stood up awkwardly form the stool and make his way to the living room. Unknown to him, Yifan was smiling gently at him once he turned his back.

He makes himself comfortable on Yifan’s black sofa. He picked up one of the pillow and placed it on his lap. His eyes went to examined Yifan penthouse. The interior design totally resembled the owner, cold and mysterious. His gaze then landed on the stair on his left, a sudden stupid thought appeared in his mind making him snapped his head away from the stair. ‘What the- why am I even thinking of?’. He took out his phone from his pocket, and indulged himself on his social media in the same time trying to distract his mind from those sinful thought. He stumbled upon one of Jongdae post, a picture of the couple having their good time in China. ‘They must be having so much fun right now.’ He sighed and locked his phone and placed it on the table. He turned his head to his right, making him gazing out to the dark sky. 

Standing up on his feet, he makes his way to the big window and slide it opened. He stepped out of the balcony and shivered as the wind hit him. Yifan’s penthouse balcony is kind of like a mini garden actually, with various kinds of flowers planted on the pots. He looked up to the sky full of stars as he fall deep into his thought. There’s a lot of things circling inside his mind, one of it was, what is he even doing right, having a dinner during Christmas eve with someone that he just meet which he only know by his name. ‘I might be not in my right mind now.’, he thought. 

As the time passed by, he was still standing on the balcony with his hands in his pockets. The tip of his nose had turned pink making him look like a Rudolph. Yifan was walking out from the kitchen to call Junmyeon when he caught him standing on the balcony. Making his way slowly toward him, Yifan eyes were gazing at him with unknown feeling erupted in his chest. It’s only the second time he meet this guy, but there’s this kind of string that keep on pulling on the corner of his heart, tugging him, making him want to be closer with Junmyeon. He stop right beside on the window frame. Leaning against the frame, he crossed his arms on his chest as he stared at Junmyeon’s back.
