“Are you sure hyung?”

Junmyeon, for the third time in that day nodding his head as a respond to Jongdae question. Jongdae had been asking him the same question for the past thirty minutes. He still can’t believe it when Junmyeon told him that he wouldn’t join them for the vacation to China this upcoming Christmas holiday. Both him and Yixing had been planning to went for a holiday vacation this Christmas in China, and been planning to bring Junmyeon together with them. He for sure knew that Junmyeon will decline his request to this trip, but for once, he really wished that Junmyeon will come along with them. He had seen Junmyeon kinda being too hard with himself for the past few months. He had witness Junmyeon crumbled down when he broken up with his boyfriend. The boyfriend that took Junmyeon kindness for granted. Jongdae knew that Junmyeon ex-boyfriend was a trouble in disguise, seeing that he didn’t have any job and keep on asking for money from Junmyeon. As the little brother, Jongdae didn’t want his older brother to be treated like this. He tried to tell his brother that this guy is not a good guy at all. But Junmyeon just brushed him off and said that people will change. Jongdae could only sigh. He knew that Junmyeon love this jerk so much, that he had been blinded by it. 

Junmyeon let out a small smile, as if trying to reassure Jongdae that everything is fine, he’s totally okay. Junmyeon, “It’s really alright Jongdae-ah. Besides, I don’t want to be a third wheel between Yixing and you. And you do know that I can leave out pet store aren’t you?” He stated as he open his book again to continue his reading. Jongdae whined. Jongdae, “But hyung…” Junmyeon once again closed his book, “No but Jongdae. Go and spend your Christmas with Yixing. I’ll be fine.” He stood up from the sofa and start to walk up the stairs toward his bedroom. Junmyeon, “I’ll be having my reading time. So, if there’s nothing important don’t disturb me.” Jongdae pouted. He knew that if other people saw it, they might have mistaken Junmyeon as a cold hearted person. But Jongdae knew his brother so well. He knew how much Junmyeon doesn’t like to be disturbed when he’s reading a book. He picked up his phone and make a phone call to his boyfriend.

Junmyeon strolled down the street as he enjoyed the breeze hitting on his face. He didn’t like the cold, but sometimes, it helps him to calm his mind. Jongdae and Yixing had been off to China this afternoon, and he was there to send them off. Jongdae was pouting sadly all the way to the international airport, but he knew there’s nothing that he can do to change Junmyeon’s mind once he had decided on something. There’s two more days before Christmas day. Some of his friends had been inviting him to celebrate Christmas together with them. But he kindly declined them saying that he got something important to do. 

His parents even had told him to come back home, having a dinner together with them. Junmyeon politely declined them. This year he just wanted to be alone. He sighed and hides half of his face in his red scarf which was wrapped around his neck. It really is chilling but not as chilly as his heart in the moment. He walked into the park and settled down on the bench, face directly facing the Christmas tree in the middle of the park. He stared at the Christmas tree with a sad smile on his face. He had planned everything, everything for this Christmas. He had planned to spend it with him, his past lover. But he should have known, he can only plan it, but he’s not the one to decide his fate. He closed his eyes, trying to erase all of those memories from his mind. 

“Ahjussi…”

A small voice interrupted him and makes him open his eyes. There right in front of him, stood a kid whom looking up at him with his toothy grin. Looking at his height, he might be around five or six years old. Junmyeon leaned down a little, “Yes?” The kid,“Ahjussi, why are you closing your eyes in front of the Christmas tree? Are you making a wish to the Santa Claus?” Small chuckle escaped from Junmyeon, “Will Santa even make my wished come true if I wished upon something in front of the Christmas tree?” 

The little kid smile and nodded his head excitedly. “My mother told me that if we sincerely make our wished in front of the Christmas tree, the Santa Claus can hear it more clearly. And everytime I did it, I will get everything that I wished for.” The small kid got a big grin on his face as he hoppe
