The lineup of boys at the audition was enormous. They waited in the line patiently as it slowly s into the room. Soonyoung looked great, dressed neatly in an oversized white shirt and black pants, his dark hair smooth and shiny and healthy looking. He wore minimal makeup and glowed with the radiance of youth and good health. Junhui was dressed more fashionably in black ripped jeans and a white tank, his white hair wild and loose, his eyes heavily rimmed with a smoky shadow. He looked more like a model than an idol or a dancer.

They had helped Minghao out with some of their things. He wore his own faded and ripped jeans and his well worn Converse. Over the top he wore a black tank of Junhui’s and a white shirt similar to Soonyoung’s left open and ed. He had attempted to cover his bruised face with the absolute last scrape of his makeup and Junhui had lent him a black liner to enhance his eyes. The three of them looked like a real group, like they belonged together, and for the first time in a long time Minghao felt like he was a part of something.

His shivering came and went but he hadn’t thrown up again. His head pounded despite the painkillers Soonyoung had given him and he wanted nothing more than to sleep. It was cold and goosebumps pricked all over his skin and the other two boys, warm in their winter coats, stood close to him to try and block the wind. Finally they moved inside and it was better and they all began to warm up their muscles in the foyer of the building.

Minghao followed Soonyoung’s lead as they stretched. He stretched his legs and arms, but his back was sore and so were his ribs, and he couldn’t move as well as he wanted to. Junhui and Soonyoung tried to give him an idea of what they had planned for the audition but they didn’t have time or space to rehearse anything with him. They decided to do their routine as planned and Minghao would just improv as best as he could.

As they stepped into the room Minghao was taken back to the day before when a hollow shell of a boy stood in front of a similar panel and half heartedly moved his body. But today had a different feeling. He stood in between Junhui and Soonyoung and when the beat started and the other two began to move he felt himself come to life. He wasn’t as strong in his body as he used to be but he felt a strength and a power in his mind and his heart that he thought he lost forever.

He glanced to the

Chapter 35: Hello it’s me again. HAHAHAHA

I honestly didn’t expect minghao side to take that turn, but I love how it all turned out for the two. A beautiful book 2 indeed. 💕.

Hopefully a book 3? No pressure tho! I just enjoy what you’ve enjoyed writing ☺️

Chapter 35: Wow, this story is so amazing! I honestly don't understand why it hasn't gotten more attention and popularity!

I really like how you take us on this journey with Minghao. That not everything works out, that he does have huge problems to face, that things go really down the gutter before he manages to pick it all up, thank sto a certain ex-violet haired boy. It's so wonderful to see them grow with time and how Soonyoung also accepts Minghao rather quickly despite being reasonably worried at first. Seungcheol also accepting Minghao quickly and seeing within days/weeks that this was one of the best decisions he's ever made is also really sweet.

I'm glad that Yanan and his group did not go after Minghao any further even though he technically owes them money. And seeing him get back to his vibrant self was so beautiful!

I'm in love with basically every Minghao-Junhui scene because they're all so wonderful and it's so realistic that both of them worry so much and can't see the seemingly most obvious things because they're still looking at it from a subjective angle, assuming that what they do see is only tinted because of their own feelings and that mutuality can't really happen. And then when they get together and things just become even more beautiful... and all the things Junhui does for Minghao and how Minghao immediately begins to pay him back with his first paycheck...

The scene with Minghao's parents was also really great and I'm so glad that Junhui managed to convince them! It's also nice to see that Minghao's father is the more emotional one.

I think I noticed two minor inconsistencies, though. One is timewise that it all starts when Minghao is not even 16 but then once he's accepted to Seungcheol's band, time seems to go a bit funky... Also, if I didn't mis-read it, it is mentioned towards the end that he left China when he was 17... Also, in the first chapter, his stuffed animal is a cat and not a panda...

All in all, I really loved reading this story. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! You have a nice writing style that always kept me on board and the flow of events was nice. If I find more JunHao/JiHan, I'll certainly check out more of your stories!
