Just Another Boy
The Beautiful GameSong Minho has just finished his P.E. class when he saw the announcement. The day he has been waiting for has finally come. There it was, posted on the gym's bulletin board:
MFT Open Tryouts Friday, 4:30 pm
Mino did not think that being a new kid at school would be easy but neither did he expect it to be this lonely. He is not exactly shy but he is far from being Mr. Congeniality. Since he moved away from the city, he spends most of his time alone, drawing or taking photographs. In middle school he learned to play football and through it he made his closest friends with whom he started high school, and missing them makes him feel even more lonely. The field is his sanctuary, so he would often stay at the bleachers after classes to watch practice games. Sometimes he brings his camera and take pictures which he would send to his best friend Pyo Jihoon to reassure him he is doing well at his new school.

Because Mino has heard Master Park call the players by their names out loud during drills or scrimmages, he knows most of them: Jinwoo. Seungyoon. Seunghoon. Hanbin. Bobby. Jinhwan. June. Donghyuk. Yunhyeong.
Truth be told, he was scared of trying out for the team because he saw how intensely Master Park (and Master Hwang, the goalie coach and fitness trainer) make the players work. There had been times Master Park could not hold back his harsh words. Nonetheless Mino was impressed with how the coaches run the training and plan the team plays.
