ROWOON'S P.O.V. I quickly pulled away from her, making me fall back on the floor with a loud thud.  I looked at Irene while touching my lips. Did we just k-kiss?! I was blushing red and ruffled my hair in frustration, What do I do?! After this incident, I'm sure we'll be awkward and shy around each other—Well, for me. She doesn't have the slightest idea that she had stolen a kiss from me!!! I carefully stood up, being mindful of my actions because of my splinted  left arm, and walked closer to Irene. She was still  in a deep slumber, doesn’t have the a clue on what she did to me. Her lips got my attention, making me remember the accidental kiss and making me red. I shook her with my free arm and she groaned, she's a deep sleeper. She just turned the other way, making me face palm; This can be more harder than I thought. “Irene! Wake up!” I half-whispered and half-shouted while I shook her again, this time with more force than before. She once again faced me and her eyes slowly opened, her eyes seems a bit different... It’s not like the eyes of someone who just woke up, she looks like she has been awake minutes ago. So she was...I hardly believe that, maybe it was really an accident. “R-RoWoon?? Where am I? What time is it?” She asked while rubbing her eyes as she sat on the couch. “You're still in my room, and it’s already 3 in the morning. You can go back to your room so you can have proper rest, you still have class tomorrow” I said while not directly looking at her eyes. Good thing the lights are out, otherwise she can see how blushing red I am right now. Operation: Avoid Irene. Goal: To successfully avoid Irene without her knowing. That operation quickly aborted when she suddenly hugged me; I forgot she’s clingy. She wrapped her arms around my neck and pulled me in, I bended down to meet her level. She snuggled into my neck which made all the blood rush to my face once again. “I-Irene, y-you okay?” I closed my eyes and bit my lip, let’s relax. Woah, it’s getting a bit hot in here!!! “Let's go, Irene. I'll accompany you back to your room" I finally regained my composure and said this whole sentence without me stuttering.
 
I patted her shoulder, signalling her that it’s time to let go, instead she tightened the hug even more. “No, let’s just stay here...”  “Irene, it’s already 3 in the morning. It’s a school day tomorrow, you need your proper rest for you to focus. Now, let’s go back to your room and sleep on your bed, please...” I pleaded and to my surprise, she stood up and hugged me sideways. Why is she like this??? Is this her natural habit?? “Let’s go, bear" How can I walk when she’s hugging me sideways?! I slowly pulled away and held her hand, “Let’s go then" The both of us walked out of my room, with me leading the way. The lights were all out once we exited the room, it was quiet and peaceful  I opened the door to her room and let her enter first, closing the door behind me, I saw Irene waiting for me like child; Rubbing her eyes at the same time. I approached her and let her lay on her bed, “Good night and morning, Irene" It’s technically morning. I pulled up the blanket up to her chest and has the intention to leave already, for her to get a good rest already. But a grip on my wrist stopped me from doing my intention, “Just stay here, bear. Just lay here beside me" She scooted a bit and gave a space for me to lay in the bed; Is she serious? “I'm alright, Irene. I can sleep in my room, I don't want to bother your sleep" I declined her offer. Without me noticing, I was gently pulled to the bed, making me sit on the bed; Her hand still interlocked with mine. “Just sleep here, bear. You said that earlier that we can go to my room and we'll sleep on my bed, stand for your words" “No, I can't—" She pulled me again which made me lay on the bed, I sighed and put myself into a comfortable position—being mindful of my left arm. What can I do?? She literally pulled me into the bed and was holding unto me tightly. I sighed, “Your really a stubborn one sometimes, Irene"  She lets go of my hand and pulled me closer to her; Hugging me tightly. “Let’s sleep now, bear" She said while resting her head on my chest. How could I sleep in this state?! She was too close for my liking, but I shrugged the feeling off and made myself comfortable; Even if I'm not. First, she kissed me. And now, she’s asking for me to sleep beside her; That's too much to handle in one day. When I thought she was already sleeping, she once spoke again. “From now on, you call me bunny and I'll call you bear"  A smile was already formed on my lips without me knowing. °°°°
I was standing in a long hallway with wooden walls, the hallway was lit with lanterns. My eyes wandered around the place, feeling lost and confused on why I am here and how did I get here. A Korean traditional sliding door was on the far end of the hallway, I'm curious what's behind that door. I took another good look at my surroundings and found out that I'm once again in the past. Is this another nightmare? My past dream flashed back into my mind, is this the continuation? JeongSu and JeongSin, who are they? The answer still remains unknown. A door slamming made me look behind me, and there I saw a man rushing towards my direction, sweat was dripping down his forehead and nervousness is visible in his face. He was wearing a royal hanbok with a crown on his head, servants was seen rushing behind him as well. The man got closer and closer until he literally passed through me, I only felt cold air as he passed through me. The servants did the same and the cold air was once again felt by me, they don't have any idea that I was standing there. I'm invisible to them. I once again turned my head and saw then heading towards the door I mentioned earlier. He signalled his servants to stay behind then he entered the room, since I'm curious as hell on what's going on, I walked up to the said room. I took a quick glance at the servants before entering. They looked somewhat scared...why?? “What do you need from me, JeongSu?” In front of me was the man before, I looked over his shoulder and saw another man, sitting on a king size bed. I walked to the side to get a better view of the two men. JeongSu and JeongSin... The two men were the older versions of the two. “I want you to give me the throne” JeongSu said, his voice filled with evil and greed. He was wearing a royal hanbok as well, he's face looked more mature and he had grown a beard. “I told you many times, JeongSu, I can’t do that. Father picked me, I can’t pass you my throne. I will disappoint him, and you know I can’t and never will do that" JeongSin explained calmly, unlike his brother, his voice is full of softness and love. I saw JeongSu forming a smile on lips which later on turned into a laugh, an evil laugh. He stood up and walked closer to JeongSin, his lips smiling curving a smile, he went closer and patted his brother’s cheek. “You still haven’t changed, my dear younger brother. You still want to be the star, you still want to look like a good kid, am I right?” He mockingly said. He then patted his shoulder, and went closer to his ear “What if your dearest lover is involved?”  JeongSin quickly pushed him away, making him land on the floor, still having that mocking smile, JeongSu was laughing. “Don't drag HaYoung into this! This is between the two of us, JeongSu!” I can tell that JeongSin was slowly losing his patience towards his older brother. I can see in his eyes filled with anger but at the same time, it shows anxiety and alarmness. JeongSu stood up and once again walked closer to his brother, “So sweet. Protecting your lover, I see...” He eyed his brother from his toes up to his head, before he started breaking into laughter. Is something funny, going on? If there is, I don't get it. “What will be father's reaction when he knows his favourite son broke one of the golden rules of the palace? The third golden rule to be exact. No one from the royal family shall have intimate relationship with any of the servants or anyone below them” I saw JeongSin gritting his teeth, trying to contain all his anger inside. “Don't drag her into this, JeongSu!” “What if something bad happens to her, would you give me the throne?” JeongSu was grabbed to the collar by a fuming JeongSin. “Don't you dare touch her with your filthy fingers, JeongSu! I'm warning you, my brother, I'm the King, I can do whatever I want to you” JeongSin said while gritting his teeth which made JeongSu smile even wider. Is there any popcorn? This is getting intense, men! “What if I do? I'm going to touch her like this...” JeongSu touched his brother's shoulder lightly with his index finger, mocking him. “Your choice, love or royalty. Can you give up your throne for your lover or Can you give up your lover for your throne? You choose, JeongSin”  JeongSin released his brother before sighing, “You take the throne. Just don’t touch, HaYoung"  The settings changed in a split second, and now I'm in front of a burning house. People are screaming in terror and everything is in chaos. It was deep in the night, no lights can be seen shining except the stars and moons above and the burning house. The whole house was eaten by the hot flames of the fire, the whole house was swallowed by the fire. A saw a woman running out of the house, a baby in her hands. She quickly ran to a safe place before checking if the baby in her hands is okay, no burns or anything. The baby was crying, it looks like she/he knows what's going on. “Who's child is that, MiYoung?” A lady confronted the woman named 'MiYoung' who is now trying to calm the baby down. MiYoung? Where did I heard that name again? “It's HaYoung and JeongSin's daughter”  “Wait, the owner of this house? I can tell that they did not get out alive and I'm feeling sorry for this kid, she'll grow up without her biological parents. Who would take care of her now?”  “I will. I promised them that I would take care of their daughter" “What is her name?”  “Kang SeulGi” The last sentence I heard before everything started vanishing slowly like dust and I slowly felt like I was falling in some kind of black hole °°°
I sat up with a sudden jolt, sweat
