Chapter 18: Conjunctions
The (Not so) Perfect Story
Yay! Conjunctions. I love conjunctions.
Without conjuctions your story would seem lifeless.
Conjunctions(Noun)
Noun: |
|
"The act of joining."
When you use conjuntions, you would join two sentences together.
I'm going to be talking about coordinating conjunctions or 'FANBOYS'
Sentences without conjunction:
B.A.P. is an extremely popular rookie group. They have 1.6 million views on their music video for "Warrior". Their song is so strong. They're going to conquer the world.
Boo... so lifeless, dead, and boring to read.
Let's see it with some conjunctions.
Sentences with conjunctions:
B.A.P. is an extremely popular rookie group at the moment, and they have 1.6 million views on their music for "Warrior".
Their song was strong, and I believe that they're going to conquer the world!
With conjunctions it's easier to read and it makes the story flow more~
When using conjunctions, you must always, and I mean always, have a comma between the two sentences. I have no idea why.
And, you would most likely use FANBOYS when you use conjunctions.
What's FANBOYS?
FANBOYS: For - And - Nor - But - Or - Yet - So
Those are a list of words that are normally used in coordinating conjunctions.
More Examples of Sentences with conjunctions:
B.A.P. stands for 'Best Absolute Perfect', and I think that name fits perfectly.
They already have an official fanclub name, but I think the name is quite boring. We're called BABY...
Remember:
Use conjunctions to increase the flow of your story.
