The Point of No ReturnHana’s mind struggled to catch up with the pace in which things were happening around her. By the time her sluggish mind got hold of the situation, Sehun was already sleeping in her room on her bed cosily bundled under her duvet. Hana rammed her forehead twice with her fist in an attempt to make herself believe that what she was seeing was real and not a figment of her imagination. The towel Sehun had used to dry his hair was draped neatly over the backrest of Hana’s chair and she couldn’t help but admit the fact that Sehun was nothing short of cute in her pink unicorn themed shirt and pyjamas that were several inches short for him.
Smiling to herself, she crossed the room and went to the windows to pull the blinds so that Sehun won’t get disturbed by the lightning. Then she moved beside the bed and was about to turn off the table lamp when she felt a warm calloused palm rubbing against her wrist. She looked down and saw Sehun’s fingers wrapped around her hand. She slowly traced her eyes from his undeniably manly forearms to his face. His eyes were only half open, his hair, a wet tangled mess. Just one look was enough for Hana to figure out that the guy was tired as hell.
“Do you want anything?” Hana asked him gently. For a couple of seconds, Sehun simply looked back.
Then he whispered. “Stay with me.”
Anger flared up Hana’s system and for the first time in her life, she wished she were superhuman so that she could go and hurt all those cruel people who had tortured Sehun- the intimidating and powerful supernatural- to the extent that he was begging her – a powerless human- to not leave him alone. Fighting the urge to cry, Hana gently sat on the edge of the bed, reaching with her other hand to gently caress Sehun’s hand that was wrapped around hers.
“Don’t worry. I’m not going anywhere.” She smiled. Sehun’s eyes fluttered close.
As Hana sat beside Sehun’s sleeping figure she couldn’t help but marvel at the fact that Sehun looked so peaceful. There were no angry lines on his face. The furrow that he usually has on his brows had vanished replaced by pale flawless skin. His long black lashes were gracing his upper cheeks as he slept. There definitely was something about his small pink pouty lips as though they were begging to be touched or better yet, kissed. Before she could stop herself, she was crawling under the duvet beside Sehun’s figure. She shivered when she felt Sehun’s warmth inches from her body. If she leaned to the left, she would be able to touch Sehun. When did she become so daring? What was she even doing?
As though under a weird trance, she turned to her side so that she was facing Sehun and roamed her eyes over his godly features. Her fingers ran through his slightly wet hair, down across the smooth plane of his forehead, over his eyebrows and down his perfect nose. Before she knew it, her fingers were caressing his totally kissable lips that slightly parted under her touch. Warm breath blew from them making her shiver again.
Hana realized a bit too late that she had woken up Sehun with her acts. She pulled back her hand and tried to crawl away but felt herself trapped as Sehun created a snare around her waist with his strong arms. In one fluid motion he pulled her close. They were so close now that Hana could make out small beautiful imperfections adorning Sehun’s face. She gulped as she felt him leaning close to her, finally stopping when their faces were mere centimeters apart.
“You are beautiful.” He whispered, a ghost of a smile gracing his lips, his half lidded eyes drinking in her face. Hana tightly closed her eyes expecting Sehun to close the distance. Instead, she felt him loosening his grip on her waist. She gingerly opened her eyes and the sight that met her made her want to laugh out. Sehun had fallen asleep again. She leaned in and touched his forehead with hers.
“Good night, angel.” She whispered before falling asleep in Sehun’s arms.
Hana didn’t want to wake up the next day at all. The dream she had last night was so good and so convincing that she actually thought it was true. She had dreamed about Sehun turning up at her doorstep and asking her whether he could stay with her for the night. Now that she is awake, the entire situation seemed pretty hilarious. Why would Sehun come to her when he had other amazing trustworthy friends who knew his problems well? Sighing, Hana opened her eyes and saw her bed empty except for her. More proof that whatever happened last night was just a dream. Stifling a yawn, she got up from her bed and walked out the door. She descended the steps two at a time, wondering what to make for breakfast but stopped short at the sight in front of her. Her breath got caught at and she almost choked.
Sitting on her couch, reading the day’s newspaper, completely oblivious to Hana’s presence was Baekhyun.
“Baekhyun?” Hana rasped in her sleepy voice.
“Hana!” Baekhyun chirped. He folded the newspaper neatly and placed it on the tea table. “I was waiting for you to get up! Let’s have breakfast. I’m starving.”
“When did you arrive? What are you doing here?” Hana fired questions one after the other.
“Will explain everything in detail over breakfast. Oh and I repaired your porch lamp. It was flickering too much.”
“Thank you. But, I’m sorry Baek.” Hana said sheepishly. “I don’t have anything prepared. If you can wait for five minutes, I will make bacons for us both.”
“Don’t worry, H
