Eun Hee POV

“oppa, stay please” I begged as L.joe stood at my apartment building.

“I’m sorry Eun Hee, but I need to go” L.joe said as he began leaving.

I frowned as I watched him leave.

“I was hoping for a catch up” I pouted.

I arrived in front of my apartment building and settled down in my room.

I opened up the box of memories and found the note L.joe had left me months ago.

I’ll be away for a year. Don’t bother finding me. I promise I’ll be back.

L.joe.

“You said you’ll be away for a year…” I said. “But I’m glad you decided to come back earlier”

I smiled before I moved onto the next things in the box.

I found the note L had given me.

I’m sorry I can’t do this anymore. Bye.

Tears started to fall.

“I miss you L oppa” I whispered as I wiped away my tears.

I began digging into the box, when I found I found a jewelry box at the bottom.

I opened it; I took out the heart shaped necklace with the blue gems in the heart.

The necklace that L had given me on Christmas, just thinking about it made me sad as I remembered how L ran off after he had seen me and L.joe kiss.

I than took out a golden bracelet, it was from L.joe.

I stared at it for a while before I placed it back in the jewellery box.

I took out the big bear, which L.joe had also given me.

I stared at the bear; it looked like it was frowning at me.

It had sad eyes, which looked at me lifelessly.

By then, my face was wet with tears.

I struggled to get up, but nonetheless I fell straight back down on my spot on the floor.

I hid my face in my arms as tears continued to fall.

It wasn’t tears of joy, it was tears of sadness.

It wasn’t because L.joe had come back; it was because everything won’t go back to how they once were.
