Eun Hee POV

I continuously called him again.

His phone was probably turned off.

I was getting worried; he was not at school or at his house.

I heaved a sigh as I sat in front of my mirror.

Looking at myself, looking at the person I was now.

My phone vibrated on the table.

I crossed my fingers as I hoped it was L.

To: Eun Hee

GO TO THE AIRPORT NOW, HIS ON THE FLIGHT TO AMERICA IN HALF AN HOUR.

It was from L.joe.

No- one POV

“The flight to America is now open for passengers to board” the intercom repeated over and over again.

L dragged his suitcase along with him.

He glanced back, hoping he would see Eun Hee running up to him telling him to stay.

With her glasses and plaits that he missed so much.

He took one last glance before boarding the plan.

As the plane began to take off he looked outside.

He sure was going to miss Korea a lot.

But most of all, he was going to miss all the countless memories he had made here.

A tear unconsciously slipped down his cheek, but wiped it away and thought of the things that were going to be there for him in America.

Eun Hee POV

I was breathing hard as I reached the airport.

I ran around looked for him.

“L” I called.

“Kim Myungoo” I yelled his full name.

I began to panic.

“L, please wait for me. I’m coming” I muttered.

“The flight to America is now taking off” the intercom repeated loudly in the speakers.

I felt my heart drop.

Tears threatened to escape and slide down my face.

All I knew was that I was too late.
