The next morning, Yuri and Yoona decided to visit the old man at the hospital. Just when they were about to leave, Tiffany entered the mansion after her trip from Busan.

“Tiffany!” Yuri jumped into her arms.

“Yuri-ah, did you miss me that much?” She smiled.

“Yes, did you?”

“Of course I did” She pinched Yuri’s nose.

Yoona frowned as she uncomfortably watched the two. She tried to make it less awkward for herself by going through her phone. However, she was still on her home screen and concentrated on the couple at front.

“Where are you guys going?”

“Visiting my Appa at the hospital”

“Omo, what happened? Is he alright?”

“Appa fainted but he’s fine now”

“Oh, I see, well you two have fun” Tiffany kissed the girl’s cheek.

Yuri blushed, “Yoona, let’s go”

“Can I come with you this time?” Yoona asked.

“Sure, but how come?”

To make sure Minho isn’t around. -Yoona thought.

“I want to meet your Appa” She slowly said.

The two walked inside the hospital.

“What’s this for?” Yuri pointed at the bag Yoona was carrying.

“Just a gift for your father”

“You really didn’t have to”

“It’s okay, I have to treat him well since he’s your Appa”

“So you’re saying if he isn’t my Appa, then you will treat him badly?”

“No! That’s not what I meant”

Yuri chuckled, “Don’t worry, I was just joking”

Yoona pouted and was brought up in a good mood when she spotted Minho wasn’t present.

“Looks like Minho isn’t here today” Yoona suddenly blurted out.

“Huh?”

“I-I mean.. Let’s go inside” She quickly changed the topic.

They entered the room as Yuri sat next to her father.

“Appa” She softly said.

He woke up with a bright smile on his face.

“Appa, how are you feeling?”

“I’m good” He turned over to the girl beside his daughter.

“T-This is Yoona” Yuri introduced.

Yoona immediately bowed, “Hello Ajusshi”

“Hi there Yoona”

“These are for you”

“Oh no, you shouldn’t have”

“Please accept them, it’s my pleasure” She handed out the bouquet of flowers and a tin of cookies.

“Those cookies are really good. They are actually produced in France and you can only get them from there” Yoona stated.

“Really?” He said in amusement.

“Yes, I hope you enjoy them” She gave a pleasant smile.

“Well thank you, Yoona”

“No worries. I will leave you two alone now” She left the room.

“She’s such a sweet and polite girl” He complimented.

“Yeah” Yuri sarcastically agreed.

“Where’s Minho? Did he not come today?” She asked.

“He did just an hour ago. He’s gone back home now”

“Oh I see”

“Yuri-ah, do you have a boyfriend yet?”

Yuri turned red, “Appa, why do you ask such a sudden question like that?”

“I just want to know if I will have a son-in-law soon”

“Appa! I’m still young, I haven’t even thought of marriage yet”

The old man laughed, “Oh Yuri, my daughter is still such a little kid”

Yuri was extremely embarrassed.

“So does that mean you don’t have a boyfriend?”

“I have a girlfriend”

“Really..? Is it Yoona?”

“What?! No!” Yuri shouted.

“Oh I’m sorry, I thought you girls look good together”

“No, I'm sorry Appa I suddenly reacted... it's just I’m dating Tiffany, her older sister”

“Omo, I’m so proud of you”

“T-Thank you...?”

The girl was still uncomfortable talking about relationships with her father.

“Could I see how Tiffany looks?”

“She’s on almost all magazine covers, how could you not know what she looks like?”

Yuri searched through her camera roll and found a cute picture of them together.

“Here” She presented.

“Ah, so that’s Tiffany. Of course, I see her all the time, I just didn’t know who she was”

“Isn’t she pretty?”

“Yes, very pretty, but you know what Yuri?”

“Hm?” She took a sip of water.

“I think Yoona suits you a lot better”

Yuri almost choked on her drink.

“I really like how she treated me just earlier and I want someone who can take responsibility of you when I am no longer living in this world”
