Chapter 12

Everyone was getting ready after a long night sleep.

“We should go out shopping today” Tiffany suggested.

“That’s boring” Yoona commented.

“Actually, that sounds pretty fun,” Yuri said.

“See”

“Fine, let’s go” Yoona amusingly added.

At the mall,

“Let’s go separate ways in pairs,” Yoona said.

“Are you guys alright with that?” Tiffany looked at the others.

“Yeah, I am” Taeyeon answered.

“Actually, I don’...”

“Great! Let’s go” Yoona interrupted Yuri before she could give her opinion.

She dragged the latter to the opposite direction of Tiffany and Taeyeon. They eventually went into a designer boutique.

“Why are we in here? I can’t afford any of this stuff” Yuri said.

“But I can. Look for something you like”

“Really?”

Yoona nodded.

They were looking at the shoe collection.

“Do you like this one?” Yoona asked as she grabbed the heel that Yuri had her eyes on.

Yuri checked the price tag and had a heart attack.

“A t-thousand dollars?!” Yuri exclaimed.

“No, I can’t” She placed the heel back on the shelf.

“What’s wrong?” Yoona asked.

“That’s way too expensive”

“Don’t worry, I’ll get it for you”

“It’s okay Yoona, you don’t need to get me anything, really”

“Let’s check another store then”

They entered a jewellery shop. Yuri couldn’t take her eyes off a ring.

Yoona noticed, “Do you like it?”

Yuri couldn’t admit refusing.

“Excuse me” Yoona called.

“Yes? How may I help you” The lady asked.

“I would like to have a look at this ring please” She pointed.

“Yeah definitely!” She takes the ring out.

“This ring is a gorgeous one” The lady hands the ring to Yoona.

“Give me your hand”

Yuri gave out her hand as the latter slowly puts the ring on for her girlfriend.

“Do you like it?” Yoona asked.

Yuri happily nodded, “Do you?”

“Yeah, I think it’s really pretty... like you” Yoona grinned as the latter shyly blushes.

“Such a sweet talker” The lady commented.

“Are you two a couple?” The lady asked.

Yuri didn’t want to respond.

“Yes, we are” Yoona answered instead.

“Well, that ring is actually part of a couple ring. Would you like to have a look at it?”

“Sure”

Yoona wears the other ring and compares it with Yuri’s.

“Yuri, do want to have a couple ring with me?”

Yuri blushes, “I-I don’t know”

“Do you like the ring though?”

“Yes..” She quietly said.

“Okay, we’ll take them” Yoona smiles at the lady.

After paying for the rings, the lady gives them their bag.

“Have a lovely day girls”

“Thank you, you too,” They both said.

The couple were resting on a bench as Yoona takes out the rings out of the bag.

“Let’s put them on”

“Right now?”

“Yeah” She slid the ring onto Yuri’s finger.

“Thank you” She admired it.

“Your turn”

Yuri puts the ring on Yoona’s finger as they both happily smiled.

“I love it” Yuri confessed.

“Same here, let’s take a picture”

Yoona held the latter’s hand and took a photo.

They stood up and began to walk around the mall again.

After shopping for a while, the girls decided to meet up for lunch.

Yuri noticed Taeyeon was carrying a large amount of bags.

“Taeyeon, did Tiffany make you carry all of that?” Yuri asked while the others chuckled.

“Actually, those belong to Taeyeon” Tiffany answered.

“You got so much stuff, how were you able to afford all of this?!” Yuri asked in shock.

“Tiffany paid for most of them”

“Woah Daebak”

“Did you guys get anything?” Tiffany asked.

“Nope” As the couple looked at each other.

Yuri touches her ring, “Let’s go eat”

Yuri and Tiffany went out to order food as the other sat down at a table.

While ordering, Yuri struggled to speak English.

“Can… I geet.. dis pls?” She showed the guy the menu.

The person was very puzzled but was able to arrange the pieces together.

“Sure”

“Pour” She showed her fingers.

“Okay, anything else?”

“Uhh…”

Tiffany couldn’t stop laughing and decided to help the latter.

“No, that will be it” She smiled as Yuri was stunned with the latter’s fluent English.
