Today was Jessica’s 5^th day at work, 2 more days till she’s sent back to HQ. She walked into the store lifelessly, her face blank, today wasn’t Jessica Jung’s day.

“Hi Jessica!” Gyuri greeted Jessica from behind, causing Jessica to jump in surprise.

“Hey Gyuri” Jessica said somewhat dully.

“What? No insult today?” Gyuri says teasingly

“Not in the mood” Jessica says while walking away from Gyuri.

Gyuri looked at Jessica sadly, she missed the older girl telling her to go die in a hole, or to get off her lazy and actually work, Gyuri couldn’t help but to admit
that she was attracted to Jessica.

Gyuri hopelessly watched Jessica clock in, and leave to the front of the store. She knew something was bothering Jessica, and couldn’t help but want to cheer the
latter up.

Jessica solemnly walked around the store keeping an eye on the workers; she was exhausted and couldn’t help but yawn every 30 seconds.
“Oh my god, I’m so freaking tired” Jessica mumbled to herself while she was ‘folding’ the stack of already folded clothes. Jessica was bored and tired, she wanted to
go home, flop onto her bed, close her eyes and instantly drift off into wonder land.

Jessica is both emotionally and physically tired, she was thinking about everything she did previously that might’ve set Tiffany off, but nothing came to conclusion.

Being the audacious girl she was, Jessica thought it was best to confront Tiffany about the problem, because Jessica would rather have a straightforward answer
from Tiffany instead of herself assuming incoherent what ifs.

Jessica coolly walked towards the stock room where the brunette was located. Jessica walked into the room and closed the door gently hoping the latter wouldn’t
notice her entering.

Tiffany glanced at the door the creaking wooden door, surprised at who had entered.

“Hi Tiffany” Jessica greeted Tiffany awkwardly.

“Hi Jes..sica”

“What’s wrong?” Jessica asks while pouting

“Nothing, just busy” Tiffany says while trying to avoid eye contact with Jessica.

“Doing what?”

“Work?”

“Oh, I knew that” Jessica smiled sheepishly

“Have you eaten yet?” Jessica asked curiously

“Not yet”

“Join me for lunch”

“I can’t sorry”

“Who said you could decline my offer” Jessica said seriously while gently grabbing Tiffany’s wrist leading them both out of the stock room to the exit of the store.

Tiffany is flabbergasted, Jessica Jung , the nerve of this girl was dragging her out of her work environment taking her to god knows where.

Jessica and Tiffany have been walking down the busy city of downtown Seoul, passing by countless stores ranging from Louis Vuitton to the classic StarBucks, with
the breeze blowing against their flawless faces, their hands intertwined with Jessica’s gentle hand on top leading.

After walking for ten minutes Tiffany had finally had it.

Tiffany halted in the middle of the busy sidewalk, “Jessica, where are you taking me?”

Feeling a tug extending from her hand, Jessica looks back and sees an upset Tiffany.

“We’re going to have lunch”

“Where?”

“Surprise” Jessica said while sheepishly smiling at Tiffany.

“Seriously, Jessica”

“Look I’m trying to do something for the both of us, so can you please just go along with it”

“And why would you want to do something for me?”

“Tiffany, what are you talking about?”

“You know exactly what I’m talking about”

“I really don’t”

“Look Tiffany, can you please let me take you out to lunch. You’re causing a scene.” Jessica says while noticing the subsiding whispers.

“Fine” with that Jessica started walking off to god knows where.

After fifteen minutes of being dragged by Jessica, the two have finally arrived at Jessica’s destination. It was a small café, nearly isolated from the rest of the busy
city.

Jessica politely opens the café’s door open for Tiffany signaling her to enter first before Jessica trailed behind her.

Jessica guided Tiffany to sit on the red stool by the window while she went to the front to order their food, Jessica enlightened Tiffany that it would be to-go and the
two would be heading off to somewhere much more delightful.

Jessica returned to Tiffany with a bag of to-go orders.

“Let’s go Tiff” Jessica said while grabbing Tiffany’s hand intertwining their fingers with one another.

Tiffany simply nodded and followed Jessica to wherever Jessica was going to take her.

While walking, Tiffany couldn’t help but notice Jessica’s flawless features, with the wind blowing Jessica’s caramel brown hair; Tiffany noticed Jessica’s strong
jawline, her petite nose, and her thin gentle pink lips.

Tiffany noticed that Jessica had secluded them out of the busy atmosphere of downtown and has taken them to the suburban side of Seoul; the weather was
pleasant. Tiffany exhaled slowly; breathing in the clean and gentle air, Jessica looked at Tiffany subtly and smiled.

“We’re almost there, Tiff” Jessica told her reassuringly

Tiffany nodded in acknowledgment.

Around another five minutes of moderate walking, Tiffany sees a nearby park, it was very large, and there were teams of little leagues ranging from soccer, to
football and baseball. Tiffany thought it was such a cute atmosphere to see little kids playing sports with such serious semblances plastered on their dirty faces.

Jessica stops in front of the west entrance of the park where the sun was directly above them from a certain angle.

“We’re here…”

“Oh..”

“Yea we’re going to eat lunch here, if that’s okay with you”

“I mean you dragged me around Seoul, so the least I could do is eat lunch with you”

Jessica chuckled at Tiffany’s answer and started to lead them deeper into the park.

They followed a concrete walking trail, with bike riders passing through them every few minutes. The park wasn’t empty there were a lot of people, ranging from
couples, to families and friends

“Jessi, when are we going to sit down?”

“Soon, just be patient”

After complying with Jessica’s answer, the duo arrived under a huge tree. Jessica sat elegantly on the moist healthy green glass with her delicate, thin legs laying
out on the tickling grass. Tiffany sits down as well facing the beautiful, goddess-like brunette.

Jessica reached in the to-go bags and pulled out the food that was neatly packed in the plastic containers. Jessica pulled the lid back off the container with
struggle, earning a subtle chuckle from Tiffany.

“Here, let me help you” Tiffany said while taking the other containers out of the bag and pulling the lids off with ease.


“Wow” Jessica was left dumbfounded, Tiffany was a lot stronger than she seemed; or Jessica was just weak…

Jessica handed Tiffany a provolone turkey sandwich while she situated herself after.
Jessica and Tiffany began eating in silence both taking small gentle bites while discreetly glancing at one another. The two are secretly admiring one another,
thinking about one another and lastly smiling at one another.

Jessica was thinking of ways to spark a conversation with Tiffany but failed miserably. Jessica would think of common situations in her mind just in case something
does happen.

Tiffany, herself was also debating, whether or not she should be the one to start the conversation.

“So uh-“

“I –uh”

Jessica looked up and met Tiffany’s smile; secretly wishing Tiffany would smile more.

“You, first” Jessica says while scratching the back of her head; this was how someone could tell Jessica was nervous.

“How was your day?” Tiffany asked

“Since I spent most of today with you, it’s a pretty good day” Jessica says while flashing her flawless smile

Tiffany’s face immediately began to flush with embarrassment.

“Yea right…who would want to spend a whole day with me” Tiffany mutters while looking away

Jessica clearly heard what Tiffany had said and was at doubt, who wouldn’t want to spend a day with Tiffany?

“Hey… Don’t say that, I would love to spend every day of my life with you”

“Really?” Tiffany asks while looking back at the direction of Jessica.

Jessica could see the hope in her brown charismatic eyes.

“Of course” Jessica says reassuringly

“Do you sweet talk other people behind my back?” Tiffany asks suspiciously

Jessica choked on her sandwich after hearing Tiffany’s statement.

Tiffany was surprised at Jessica’s reaction and rushed behind Jessica and began patting her back.

After Jessica’s coughing subsided, Tiffany managed to apologize.

“I’m sorry to startle you, I was just joking”

“It’s okay and I don’t sweet talk other people”

“Not even your girlfriend?”

“WHAT?!” Jessica began to choke on her water now instead

“I-I mean it’s okay if you’re a homoual…”

Jessica waved her arms frantically in the air trying to stop any confusion.

“What are you talking about?”

“Your girlfriend”

“I don’t have a girlfriend”

“So you just like to hug other girls intimately in public” Tiffany harshly mutters.

Jessica looked at Tiffany confused.

“What are you talking about?”

“A few days ago, when you rushed out of the store with some girl”

“Ohhhh” Jessica says while recalling the moment.

“That was my cousin, Yoona”

“C-cousin?!”

“Yea…Cousin. Why are you jealous?” Jessica says while smirking

“Jealous? Why on earth would I be jealous?”

“That she got to hug the prettiest girl in all of Korea”

Tiffany scoffed at Jessica’s arrogance.

“You’re so full of yourself”

“Oh come on, just admit it!”

“I rather the sidewalk”

Jessica smirked at Tiffany’s answer.

Damn it… 

“Then go the sidewalk, or you can tell me I’m the prettiest girl alive” Jessica says while stretching her arms in the air.

“No way” Tiffany says while standing up.

Jessica watches Tiffany walk over to the sidewalk.

“Are you going to sit there and watch, or are you going to stand up and walk over here?”

Feisty…

“I’m coming!” Jessica says while standing up and making her way towards Tiffany.

“Are you gonna do it or not?” Jessica asks

“Do what?”

“ the sidewalk”

“I-I will!”

Tiffany looked down towards the sidewalk it was dirty; the sidewalk was covered with dirt.

Tiffany kneels down towards the ground and slowly leans her head closer and closer to the ground.

“FANY! BUG! STOP!” Jessica shouts at Tiffany

Upon hearing the word ‘bug’ Tiffany got up and began to jump while squealing.

Tiffany was jumping while screaming “BUGS!BUGS!BUGS!”

Jessica looked at her incredulously.

“Hey calm down…it’s just a bug” Jessica says softly while placing her hands gently on Tiffany’s shoulders.

“JUST BUGS?!” Tiffany screams

Jessica closed her eyes and flinched at the horrendous volume of Tiffany’s voice.

“Whoa, Tiff just calm down”

“CALM DOWN?”

“Yes…stop shouting; you’re causing a scene”

“Well we’re outside aren’t we?”

Jessica nodded.

“Then I can use my OUTSIDE voice!”

Jessica chuckled at Tiffany’s childish antics.

“Are you crying?!”

Tiffany sniffed and turned her face away from Jessica.

“Stupid Jessi… making me cry” Tiffany mumbled in a whisper.

Jessica smiled at Tiffany’s words, causing her to hug Tiffany from behind. KoalaJung.

Jessica has her thin arms wrapped around carefully Tiffany’s waist causing the latter to blush immediately from the interaction.

Tiffany’s heart began to race while Jessica placed her head lightly on Tiffany’s right shoulder.

“I’m sorry Fany” Jessica whispers into Tiffany’s ears.

Tiffany pouted after hearing Jessica’s apology, but due to their positions Jessica couldn’t see her pout.

“I shouldn’t have made you the sidewalk” Jessica says while wrapping her arms tighter around Tiffany.

Tiffany slowly turned herself around with Jessica’s arms still wrapped around her; Tiffany was now facing Jessica looking deeply into her brown charcoal eyes.

“It’s okay” Tiffany says while wrapping her arms around Jessica’s neck and pulling her closer while nesting her head on the Jessica’s left shoulder.

“So how does it feel to hug the most beautiful girl in Korea?” Jessica whispers playfully into Tiffany’s ears.

After hearing such words Tiffany immediately pulls away from the hug and starts to hit Jessica’s chest furiously but gently.

“Ugh! You’re so full of yourself! I bet your head is filled with egoistic air!”

“No it’s filled with you” Jessica says seriously

Tiffany stops her hitting and looks at Jessica confused.

“Really?”

“Sure, why not?” Jessica says while smirking

“You’re such a player!” Tiffany says while continuing to hit Jessica.

“How?!”

“Y-you sweet talk people! A LOT !”

Jessica grabs both of Tiffany’s flaring hands and holds them steadily; causing Tiffany to gasp. Jessica looks at Tiffany contently causing Tiffany’s heartbeat to
pound ferociously inside of her.

Jessica slowly leaned towards Tiffany’s face; Tiffany closed her eyes.

Jessica’s forehead was now touching Tiffany’s with slightly above Tiffany’s nose. Jessica’s steady breath was gently hitting Tiffany’s face causing Tiffany
to shutter each time.

“If only you weren’t so mean, I’d kiss you” Jessica whispers

After hearing Jessica’s words Tiffany opens her eyes and shoves Jessica.

“See what I mean? You’re always hitting me! And you’ve only known me for a few days!”

“That’s the point! I only known you for a few days and you’re already HITTING on me!”

“Don’t act like you don’t like it!”

“Shut up!”

Jessica laughs while looking at Tiffany’s disgruntled emotion.

“Tiff, I’m sorry I was just kidding”

“Apology not accepted”

“Why not?” Jessica asks while pouting.

Tiffany immediately turns around after seeing Jessica’s pout.

Tiffany you can’t lose. 

“Because you’re a stupid jerk!” Tiffany says with her back facing Jessica.

“Is that why you can’t look at me straight in the eye for more than 2 seconds?”

Tiffany mentally scolded herself because her actions and habits were too noticeable.

“It’s because you’re so ugly that I can’t stand looking at you!”

“Then why do you always blush or turn your face away from me when I make contact with you?”

“Because you’re ugly!”

“Is that why you blush?”

“No that’s why I turn away!”

“Then why do you blush?”

“I don’t know why!”

“I don’t know why either” Jessica says while coming closer to Tiffany

The sun was slowly setting; the atmosphere of the park was becoming much more peaceful, with the red-yellow lighting emerging from the sun throughout the
whole park.

Jessica turned her attention towards the west pulling down on Tiffany’s arm also turning her attention towards the sunset.

“It’s beautiful” Tiffany says in a low whisper

“It is”

Tiffany turned her attention away from the beautiful sunset towards a much more beautiful person.

“Thank you for today Jessica”

Jessica turned her attention towards Tiffany and smiled warmly at her.

“You’re welcome, I don’t like seeing you mad”

“Especially when you’re mad at me”

Tiffany pouted at the tint of sadness coming from Jessica’s voice.

“I-I wasn’t- “

“We should head back to the store before Gyuri flips out” Jessica suggested while intertwining her hand with Tiffany’s.

“Knowing Gyuri… she probably is already freaking out” Tiffany adds on while chuckling

Jessica and Tiffany are seen making their way out of the park gracefully; any onlookers would’ve assumed they were lovers, but honestly right now, they’re just
friends.

“Tiffany, let’s be friends” Jessica says randomly while the two were walking.

“Of course” Tiffany replies gradually.
