Chapter 5: Emotions

Undercover Boss

Hi guys! This chapter is basically all of Jessica's emotions/thoughts. So if you want you CAN skip this chapter, because there is no Jeti in this chapter, sorry :(.

Chapter 5: Emotions

Jessica’s driver Mr.Seo parked outside MyJ around 7:00 to pick up the latter, she got in slowly with constant thoughts running through her mind. She wondered why
Tiffany was acting so cold to her today, what did she do?

On the drive back Jessica was silent, gazing out the window watching the city of Seoul pass by her in a matter of minutes.

They arrived in front of the large gate that securely guarded over the Jung’s residence; Jessica stepped out of the car with a cool breeze brushing past her.
Jessica thanked her driver before heading off to her abode.

Entering her home, Jessica was greeted by her mother and father who recently came home from a business trip in Paris.

“Hi Sweetie” Jessica’s mom, says sweetly to her eldest daughter.

“Hi Mommy” Jessica says while walking over to her mother and gently sitting next to her.

“I heard your little plan about going undercover”

Upon hearing her sentence, Jessica’s father looks up from his newspaper to converse into the conversation.

Jessica can only smile, knowing that her mom always has time to see what she’s up too.

“Yea sweetie, I think it’s an amazing idea” Jessica’s father says proudly while smiling to his daughter.

Jessica can only smile at her parents’ praising words. She was thankful to have such a supporting family.

“Mom, Dad, I’m going to go to bed” Jessica says while excusing herself she stands up and gives her parents both a kiss on their cheeks.

“Good night, sweetie”

“Night Mom! Night Dad!” Jessica says while walking up the stairs and headed towards her bedroom.

--
Jessica approaches her bedroom door where a title is hung on the door reading ‘Princess Jessica’ in light pink writing, seeing the title brought back many memories
to Jessica, when 10 year old Jessica first moved into the mansion she instantly ran upstairs and claimed this room as hers.

Jessica turned the golden knob slowly revealing her master bedroom, which could easily fit as the size of an apartment. The walls of her bedroom were a light
shade of lavender, with cherry blossoms neatly and skillfully drawn on every wall. Her sky blue king sized bed was neatly made in the center of the room.

Jessica walked into her bedroom, passing her bed, and her closet which was to her left with her feet gently rubbing on the soft and delicate off-white luxurious
carpet, she made her way towards her desk which was made from the finest argwood found in South Korea.

She calmly sat down in her oversized office chair which was beyond comforting, which her arms on her desk gently holding up her delicate head. So many things
were going through Jessica’s head, from the management of the store, to the employees, to the sales, and back to Tiffany.

Jessica needed to sort her feelings from a business and emotional level, she learned from the best that business and relationships do not go well together. She
was a successful 23 year old, whose income was godlike, whoever said money couldn’t buy love was correct, but did she need love? She had love from her family
and friends, but does she need love to the affectionate level? Was that necessary to a human beings life? And lastly is falling in love with the same even
comprehendible?

Does love have limits? Is love blind? Or is there such thing as love at first sight? Maybe Jessica was delusional, maybe the feelings she felt with Tiffany were
ordinary feelings other people felt when they were with a new companion, hell if Jessica knew, the friends she has now have been her friends since birth like she’ll
remember what she felt when she befriended them.

Jessica didn’t have much friends growing up, she didn’t have time for ‘friends’, the friends she has now are considered sisters to her; she never really had a friend.
When she was younger she focused on school and after school she would go to the company to learn about the company, you would say Jessica had a life that
was caged in, but no, she chose all of this, she wanted to be successful ever since she was younger, she didn’t want to live off of mommy and daddy forever, she
wanted to be independent.

But all of that shattered once she decided to go undercover, where she met that person, that person who made her feel the way she had never felt before, for the
first time in her life Jessica was becoming vulnerable and she didn’t want that, Jessica Jung was never vulnerable, she never cries, never complains, and is never
dependent. Jessica thinks to herself silently with her eyes closed, her fingers gradually massaging her temples, this was the way Jessica progressed her deep
thoughts and for the first time in her life it wasn’t about the company, or her family but a specific person.

What do you do, when your heart suddenly beats abnormally, or when your stomach has a rush of butterflies swarming inside itself, or when your heartbeat is so
loud that you can’t focus on reality? What do you do when you have such feelings? These were all of the things enveloping Jessica’s mind.

What happens when Jessica’s heart feels like an open wound that had salt rubbed on when Tiffany ignores her? What does Jessica do, to stop such a pain? Or
when Tiffany brushes Jessica off like dust and a ball of hurt is choked into ? What does Jessica do then? What does Jessica do to stop these ridiculous
feelings taking over her? It’s been 4 days since she met Tiffany, so why does it feel like Tiffany can destroy her in a matter of seconds?

Because beyond that cold, perfect, arrogant, elegant woman a naïve child is the puppeteer.

Thanks for reading, and to my lovely readers who comment on every chapter, you guys are amazing ^_^ thank you for such support.
Yes I will have Tiffany's POV posted next!
I have no idea how to make a poll, but if you DO comment, please respond to my following question: Should I extend Jeti's confession? And have more drama on the way, or should I have them confess after all of this undercover stuff is over with and who should confess first?

Like this story? Give it an Upvote!
Thank you!

Chapter 10: There is no worse feeling than finding a good story too late (which is the case here, sadly) I really enjoyed it so far and I’ve always loved these kinds of classic plots, the last chapter did seem like a time skip or some sort? Idk but I couldn’t stop reading as I began and I’m sure you might not get back to this, but hey, we can hope? Lol either way I loved the chapters so far and think you’ve done a well job with Jeti! Thanks for writing this^^
