The upcoming one and a half week were the busiest for Rin and the others who would be performing at the music awards. Day in and day out you could find her practicing her performance, perfectioning it to the maximum. Unfortunately, because she was too busy with working on that, her social life was crushed. Already in one day, Jackson managed her to call her around twelve times and leaving thousands of messages. Four days later her phone was blown up with calls and messages from Jackson and she decided to text him back.

R: J, calm down! I'm fine and just working on a lot of things so I wasn't able to text you back, sorry! 

After messaging and reassuring Jackson through text Rin walked back to her apartment after a long day of practicing, her arms and legs protesting by every step she took. Even though she only would be performing a remix of dances she made for many idolgroups and solo artists and two songs of her own, that didn't mean she could slack off on anything. It had to be perfect. Walking down the street her apartment was in, her phone started to buzz and she took it out of her pocket. "Anyoung? Rin speaking.." "RIN, FINALLY! Where were you the last few days?! I almost thought you disappeared from earth! Goddamn." Jackson's voice was way too loud so Rin had to hold her phone away from her left ear. Rin chuckled "Oppa! Stop screaming for a second!" After awhile, Jackson finally calmed down and started asking her why she hadn't been in touch. "That's a secret, oppa, so that's why I can't tell you yet. But you'll figure out soon enough!" Rin knew she could tell Jackson everything, but she also knew he and the rest of GOT7 would also be there at the music awards. "Hmph.. why are you doing this to meeee? All being so secretive, you know I hate it little one!" Jackson stopped pouting through the phone and sighed before opening a waterfall of words on her. "Actually, I was wondering if you'd wanted to come along with me and the guys to the annual Korean Music Awards in a week. We've been nominated for Best Boy Group and Best Dance and it would mean a lot if you could come along. I mean not as a date or anything and I already got permission afrom my agency and the guys are looking forward to it as well. So that means you need a dress and-" Rin knew this was such a sweet gesture but she had to turn it down, "J, thanks for the offer but I can't make it. I'll be in America for business. Sorry!" Rin felt bad for lying to her best friend but also knew the reaction of her best friend would be priceless if he saw her on stage.
