YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDECHAPTER ONE
Eden Hall, June 2020
"EVERYONE CALM DOWN!!!" Everyone paused whatever they were doing momentarily to stare at Hyemi, listening to see if maybe she had further instructions. But one painful gasp from Soojin returned everyone to panic mode.
"Did someone call the ambulance yet?!" Yoonjae hollered as he grilled the person next to him, which happened to be Kiseok. Kiseok merely pointed over to Hyerin who was on the phone.
Kiseok gave Yoonjae a pat on the back in an attempt to comfort the very soon to be father. Although Kiseok was the only other father within the vicinity, he's honestly just as lost as the next person as to what he should do when a pregnant lady goes into labor.
Maisie and Wooseok charged down the complex floors with a ton of ice cream, random snacks, pillows, jackets, basically whatever they were able to put their hands on and thought would help Soojin be in the slightest bit less painful.
"What the would getting a giraffe plushie do for the poor woman in labor?!" Wooseok questioned the doll in Maisie's arms, looking at her with utmost confusion.
", you brought a ing manga. What would that do?!" Maisie shot back at Wooseok with a glare. The two continued to bicker about the random pile of mess, or utter useless in their words, they so gallantly charged down the stairs with. Sehun tried to help Maisie with some of the things she was holding, seeing as his arms were basically twice the length of his wife's. Again, this was in his words, not hers.
Ryuwon was facetiming her husband, Kijoon, broadcasting the current chaos in the lobby of Eden Hall. She also kept double checking on Soojin to make sure the soon to be mother was as comfortable as she can be mid-labor. Ryuwon also used a wet towel to wipe the sweat off Soojin's face.
Kijoon was seen jumping up and down, all around the hotel room he was currently in. Although he wasn't at Eden Hall physically, his presense can be felt through the screen with constant shouts of encouragement for Soojin and how he already named himself the child's godfather.
Kiseok left Yoonjae's side when he received a call to see that it was Moyeon calling him. "What's the situation over there? I'm just hearing a slur of profanities coming out of someone's mouth. No doubt its Maisie and Wooseok." Moyeon asked as soon as she heard the call go through.
"It's as chaotic as you hear. Hyerin already called the ambulance though, we're just waiting on them to get here. How's Hyemin? Did she sleep yet?"
"Do you think's it possible to sleep with all that noise??" Kiseok murmurred right but ended the call when he heard sirens approaching. Hyemi saw the light that was the ambulance siren, and she would be eternally grateful they arrived before her urge to strangle every useless tenant around actually happened.
Everyone in the lobby wanted to squirm their way into the back of the ambulance, to Yoonjae's biggest bewilderment, especially seeing the nearly 190cm man that is Wooseok sitting next to Soojin before Yoonjae even had a chance to react. Who was the father here? Who's Soojin's husband here?
Yoonjae isn't a man for violence, even if he does have a need to get physical chasing criminals, but this situation seemed befitting. Yoonjae grabbed Wooseok's collar with both hands before yanking the younger boy out of the ambulance, nearly sending him flying. Yoonjae quickly replaced Wooseok in the seat while Wooseok started complaining about how rude Yoonjae was, to Hyerin.
Wooseok even pouted and requested a hug from Hyerin to make him feel better. Hyerin tried to shove him away, embarassed by her childish husband's actions only to give in when she couldn't overcome is his strong will for skinship.
Hyemi climbed in after Yoonjae, much to his surprise. "You obviously have no idea what to do in this situation so I'm coming along to help." Yoonjae simply nodded at Hyemi's words because she was damn right that he was clueless.
"Go back to your apartments and stop causing a ruckus in the neighbhorhood. I'll update the group chat with the progress," Hyemi instructed.
Some tenants groaned, fully prepared to hail down a cab or run to the hospital if need be to see the beautiful moment of their neighbor giving birth.
But no one dared defy Hyemi with her next statement. "Unless you guys want me to go into explicit details about your adventures to all the other tenants. I'm talking full on powerpoint slides and video demonst!"
Yep, Hyemi never saw the tenants scatter like cockroaches faster.

I'm seriously so sorry for the long wait so I decided to release chapter one to make up for it. It's a bit short but it's also 3am and I got too carried away already lmao. Chosen applicants, if you have not, please add habits that your character and their l/i have and when did the couple move into Eden Hall into the couple trivia section.
