Sowon stepped on each stepstone carefully. She manage not to splash mud on her pants. She reached the gate and cautiously opened it. She tried not to make too much noise, afraid to be caught. She closed the gate and proceeded to walk down the paved road. She listened as the birds chirp and as a gust of wind passed by her. She looked above and saw rainbow forming, she remembers their first meeting.

It was the first week of summer. But for some reason, it's raining. It pissed Sowon off. "Ughh!! Why the heck is it raining? It's summer!" She shouted. Even at a terrible weather, people looked at her weirdly while holding their umbrellas and jackets over their heads. But she didn't mind any of them. She was walking angrily when she bumped onto someone, she looked at the girl and found her smiling. "Why are you smiling? It's raining." Sowon said, confused and angry at the same time. Its not so her to just be angry at someone she doesn't know, but her mood instantly switched once it rained. "Why wouldn't I? Rain is so beautiful. It reminds us that after every rain, rainbow is made. Without rain, we won't see the beauty of rainbows." She said. Then suddenly, the rain stopped. They both looked above and found a rainbow. She looked at Sowon, her hair sticking to her face and droplets of rain falling from her face. She then tilted her head, which Sowon found cute. "Do you still hate rain?" She asked, Sowon then looked above and looked back at the girl. She smiled. "I guess not anymore." She said. "I'm Sowon." Sowon said, holding her hand out, the girl took it. "I'm Yuju." She replied and smiled. And from there, Sowon loved rain and rainbows, including the one who made her appreciate it.

Sowon stopped abruptly and raised her head, to prevent the tears from falling. Then she continued walking. With the memories of them together in her mind.

Once she reached the destination, she pulled the blanket out of her bag and laid it down the ground. She then sat carefully. "Hi Yuju-yah." She said, tears still stinging her eyes. "I still remember my promise to you, and now I'm here." She said, wiping the tears falling from her eyes."You know, its hard to live without you to brighten my life." She said and chuckled sadly, gently tracing the engraved letters on the grave. She looked at the ground and let the tears fall freely. "You broke your promise, you said you'll fight for me." She said, letting the tears fall and didn't bother to wipe it away. "You said you'll never leave me, you said we'll grow old together. What happened?" She asked, and looked down at the ground. She then wiped the tears away and looked at the grave. "I miss you Yuju." She said. "But unlike you," She chuckled then looked at the sky. "I'll keep my promise." Then looked at the tombstone. "I'll love you, forever and always
