Her Gaze
Addicted To Your SmileJust when i was lost in thought, the car door opened and Jeongyeon got in and sat right next to me, followed by Mina, who sat right opposite to me.
I didn't want to make any eye contact, whatsoever because i was afraid they had spotted me.
However, it seemed like Jeongyeon didn't understand it was me.
"I wonder who followed us into the forest. Creepy, isn't it?" Jeongyeon asked Mina, in a rather serious way.
I drank some more water out of nervousness and relief and because of a few other emotions acting upon me, all at once.
"Oh hey, chaeyoung, can you please tell me the time?" Mina asked, in a grave and deep tone.
I choked on the water and started coughing.
"It's 5 already," Sana added to help me out.
"Y-yeah," I said in a nervous tone, gulping down some more water and wiping the cold-sweat off my forehead.
Mina stared at me.
I averted her gaze by taking my phone out of my bag and pretending to be busy on it, although it was quite obvious that the network here was as efficient as a single match stick during a snow storm.
Suddenly, Jeongyeon grabbed my wrist.
"Where's your watch??" she asked.
I felt like i had messed up. I thought that Jeongyeon must have caught me, but the humble girl was rather concerned than frantic.
"I'm sorry-" I uttered, and before I could say anything else, Mina interrupted me.
"You must've lost it. Don't worry you'll find it soon," she said, in a sudden reassuring manner.
I sighed, softly, as I helped myself back into my seat and leaned in a casual manner.

The man who was driving for us came back shortly.
"Dahyun," I whispered, "can you please go and sit next to Sana? Please send Tzuyu at the back."
Dahyun nodded without any hesitation and the two girls switched their places.
I knew very well that Dahyun would never say no to sitting next to her beloved girlfriend.
I didn't really call Tzuyu to talk to her, but to have someone i'm comfortable with sitting with me at the back.
"Tzuyu," Jeongyeon called out to her, "let's switch seats."
Tzuyu did as she was said, and again, I was relieved.
I held her hand tightly and smiled at her, getting a nervous and worried smile back in return from the tall girl.
The car started off.
Throughout the drive back, I could feel Mina looking at me. She stared right into my eyes.
Her dark brown orbs pierced through my soul everytime we made eye contact.
It made me slightly uncomfortable, because her gaze was no ordinary gaze.
Her gaze was majestic and intimidating.
