Her Voice
Addicted To Your SmileAs soon as we reached our hotel, I got impatient to get off the car and just throw myself onto the hotel bed.
Me being Sana and Dahyun's third wheel wasn't even an issue anymore.
Tzuyu and Jeongyeon got off the car first.
I looked at Mina, being courteous enough to let her off first, but she looked least bothered to even get off of her seat.
Without thinking further, I headed towards the car door.
"Chaeyoung," a soft and melodious voice called out, before I could step out.
I turned back.
Mina grabbed my hand and pulled me back onto the seat next to her and handed me my watch.
The watch that I dropped in the forest. Remember?
I was humiliated, but nevertheless, I wanted to thank her for retrieving my watch for me.
Before I could open my mouth entirely, she brought her face close to me and pushed her lips against mine.
The warmth of her lips and the grip of her palm around my wrist sent shivers down my spine, but I did manage to kiss her back with all the romantic feelings contained inside me.
She pulled away after a second or two; the kiss was not very long. But those few seconds had put me in a trance.
I was looking down, with my lips slightly parted out of shock, when I suddenly felt her voice call out again.
"Chaeyoung," she called out again, "get off. I don't want anyone doubting us. Do you?"
I shook my head vigorously and jumped off the car, still under a partial trance.
Mina was now supposed to get off.
She seemed to be having some difficulty getting off because of her skirt. I was about to hold out my hand for her to take support of, but Jeongyeon rushed in before I could do anything else.
She lended a hand to Mina and helped her get off. Mina gave her a honey sweet smile in return.
I was thinking to myself.
Suddenly, Sana called out.
"Chae, we gotta go!"
"Oh- right!" I exclaimed and went towards Sana and Dahyun, as the girls held each other's hands.
I had always been slightly envious of Sana and Dahyun's relationship, personally because I wanted something like that to happen to me.
But my fate really didn't have anything in store for me.
I sighed and followed them with a grumpy face.
"Bye!"
I heard the angelic voice of Mina speak.
I turned to her and waved.
She waved back, with a smile!
My heart was overjoyed and my cheeks were turning a light shade of red, I could feel the warmth.
I smiled back and ran inside the hotel out of embarrassment;
