Mina's diary:

is beer better than wine?

I'm a perceptive kind of person. Something fishy is going on! Am I ok? Nope. Am I feeling like yelling “You Lose” at random people on the street? Yes. Do I miss my mom? Yes Will I call her and say that? No. I don't thinks she cares.

My best friend is internally freaking out. I think she is stressed out about something she doesn't want me to know about. Something that has nothing to do with work or with anything I can think of. It that I can't figure out what to say or what to do. I'm being weak because I can't be helpful to my beloved. WTF did I just write?Oh snap!

When did my emotions become so attached to someone else's mood/behaviour? How was that? Why didn't I see it before it happened? Wait. Is that bad, though? If she ever feels happy then I'll be happy. Or not....Or yes....

Later on, at a coffee shop, after work:

-Chaeng, you've been quiet and silent this entire week. Do you mind telling me why? You hardly even text me these days. I sent you a link to this awesome report I read a few days ago about how people fantasise about a dream job and you didn't say anything...

-It's nothing. I was just busy with stuff.....

-Stuff. * disapointed staring at Chaeng*

- I've being thinking..

-Proceed.

-* deep breath* We've been treating this project like it's the only thing in the world that matters and it's not!

-And?

-Mina.........We're just so..... cynical!

-Excuse me?!

-Can't you see, Mina? We're both depressive, totally rational young women, still we smile and laugh all the time, as if we were okay. We're introvert and yet we keep being social and talking to people.

-Well......... I really didn't see that coming. But in my defense I have to say that I'm so not that happy when I'm not around you...

-I'm sorry for the ''cynical'' part. I shouldn't have....Aaaaargh. Never mind. I should get going. I'll see you tomorrow. 

Mina grabs Chaeng's hand before she could turn around and leave.

-Chaeyoung?! Don't you dare leaving me to wonder and drown in worries about you!  *dramatic story twist*

-Eh? Why are speaking like that?
- Matters not. Tell me what is bothering you to the extent of no longer engaging in a normal conversation with me!

- *seats back at her chair* + deep breath * Look, I'm only talking about it because it's you who is asking and I don't want to lie to you. 

-*unreadable face expression* Hmm

-I spoke to my psychiatrist and I'm taking a different medication, like switching my anti-depressive pill and...It's been a few days...

-* understanding nod* I've been there, I get you.

-I'm feeling weird most of the time. My hands are always cold, I really can't focus on anything for long. I stopped drawing...

-* shock state* Oh, no! You what?

-I just can't! I'm...stuck....I'm bored and.. I don't even know why. I used to love it so much but now...

-You can't turn your back on you gift, darling! “Art is meant to be a tool for freedom”.

-A tool? * deeply stares at Mina * I never saw it that way...

-Well, I just came up with that sentense. You can quote it, if you want. * victorious smile *

-Yep, I will.

-But, anyway. HMMMMM AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH 

-What the heck was that?

-I have a plan! What would you say if I invited you to come over to my place? Let's draw stuff together! How's that?

-Hum. You have the super power of making things sound simply awesome.

-Is that a ''yes''?

-Ok. I just need to call mom to let her know I'll be home later than usual.

-For answers like that I sometimes forget that you are not underage anymore. To celebrate, we'll drink w-i-n-e!

-Mina...I don't really......like wine... at all.

-Oh, darling you are really in need of illuminating your mind. The stress is doing you no good!

-Wait, you can't drink alcohol while using antidepressant medication...

-Blablabla lilililalalala pipipipipopopo * waving hands in the air* I use it and I drink and I'm gorgeously here on this day to invite your highness to a private tea-artistic party with wine!

-*facepalm+smile * Mina...

-Yes?

-You're the only person in the world who could ever make me laugh on a day like this. I love you, did you know that?

-* stops+ deeply stares * No I didn't know! *stops again * I'm shook!

- You're shook! That's all you have to say?!

-BWWAAAAHHHAH Follow me, my angle of music!

-HAHAHAH. Wtf?

-I just quoted a scene from ''The phantom of the opera”. You need a slap of culture, babe.

-Looooooollll Wouldn't it be a ''splash of''?

-Oh, you little........ artist. * slaps Chae's arm* Let's go!

And that's how they walked home, I mean to Mina's house. Home is where ever they're together, If only they knew that! Little did they know that they're ''friendship would never be the same after that wine/tea party. Like a doorway leads to a new environment, their discoveries about each other lead them to a crossroads on their lives, amoment of truth, with no way back, a one way street...
